If you would like to buy a new battery go somewhere else because they supposed to HELP YOU checking your battery if it's good or not to buy a new one, when I get to the AutoZone, they told me that the machine is not working to check your battery and then I told the guy that I was coming from the AutoZone on FLORENCE/MOUNTAIN-VIEW in HP and they just told me exactly same thing. My coworker hit me up and said you won't believe this. I'm gonna paraphrase the story. Ortiz: I was in Autozone and the lady employee asks me to leave my backpack at the door. I told her "I am not going to do that because I have my valuables in my backpack." Me: Yeah you got your laptop and all your tools in there. Ortiz: Yeah. So I say you can check my bag when I leave. She says"You gotta leave your bag at the door because your people are constantly stealing from here." I say "My people. Ms. I'm Latino. Your shade is close to mine. Can I have your name?" She responds "No." I ask for the manager and he comes out. I ask for his name. He states they don't have to give their names. I ask him for corporate's number. He states "I am Corporate". I said "O really is that the case?". I asked for a receipt from the lady to show I was there. I took a picture w my phone and she snatched it away. I told her I got a copy. When I was leaving one of the customer's who witnessed the ordeal said "I was gonna buy something from there but not after that, but you should Google corporate's number." Me: Yeah that is bigtime. Have you seen all the viral vids on situations like that. You should've recorded it. Ortiz: It happened so fast I didn't know what to do. Can you believe this Jamal? It's 2018 and people still act like this? Me: Nah, I'm not surprised. Drove to this location from a different location for an item I needed for my car! As I try walking in doors were locked! I knocked & employee Bryan started being rude saying they were closed! Which I said how if store operation hours say 8am-9pm! I arrived to this location around 8:25pm! Im calling corporate as soon as I wake up! It's not fair us people are wasting our gas to come to this location, for them to be closed when store hours says it was open! So I started recording videos which ima email them to corporate! The worker name was Bryan, then Bryan went to go grab his store manager Giovanni L! Which I even started talking to Giovanni & I told him I am pissed off because I drove from 1 store to another because I was told they have the item I needed for my car & they both said they did not even have it! At first they didn't even go & bother checking the computer or anything they clearly said they shut off the system because they were cleaning! They seen how upset I was! I told them I was going to report them! Which I am going to follow up with their district manager & get a hold of corporate as soon as I wake up! Never going back to this unprofessional Autozone! They should not be cleaning the store on Open store operation hours!!! Doors should've been open for customers to come inside ! Not be pushed out!!!!!!!! Fix the signs! 3 stars because I did not have issues with the employees & they were helpful. However, be warned: Do NOT let them test your car battery!! The equipment at this specific location is not reliable at all! I had them test my battery (twice) & both readings turned out good. They even charged the battery for me. However, my car would still not start. I called a mechanic over & he ran a few tests before re-testing the battery with his own equipment & the readings weren't good. I purchased a new battery & now my car works fine. Due to the incorrect readings this entire process took up the majority of my day & therefore a huge unnecessary waste of my time. I don't know if the equipment is not functioning well or if the employees did not use it correctly, but please fix the issue. read more

Horrible service left me on hold for like half an hour. Could've just told me y'all where busy?

So I've shopped at this autozone quite a lot since moving into this area about 5 years ago. Never any issues, today may be my first one. I bought a window cleaner, window wiper and a USB c charger cable. I looked at it to confirm it was the right type so I am positive that this cable was in the package. I saw the guy charge me but he moved the package with the charger to the side and I thought it was weird since he left the other items on the counter but thought nothing of it. Charges me, give him my reward number and all was good. Come home, check the bag and it's empty!!!! Got stuff to do today but I am going to go back and see if they'll check their camera footage... very disappointed. read more

I came in due to needing some Nylon lug nuts day of April 7 2016 around 315pm The store in Bell gardens was out I walked in two females employees were there talking since the store was super dead. As I walked in I was greeted within seconds very nicely Welcome to Autozone I asked for the bolt aisle they advised were they were The bolts seemed to be out they said maybe they took them joking but in a great attitude they said we will check for you I said I appreciate that if you could please look for the part number and I didn't have it they wanted to call the store and Bell Gardens but I told them no because I thought it was going to be a bother however they still went out of their way and called and located the part number. One of the employees brought out a scanner and search for the part it was not in the shelf that she asked her coworker if maybe it was an overstock or the back the other employee said yes let me check and she gave her the case number What great effort and team work! And there they were the three parts that I needed I took two of them I sat in the front of the store to write the review because it's very rare to find a amazing service and people could brighten the job and that care about the customers and like what they do, when typically when the store is that dead as it was people are not energetic and they don't want to help that goes to show I how exceptional they are I will definitely be back here just for the service I received I recommend you get come out this way I'm sure the other employees are trained like this at this location thank you ladies very much you guys were fantastic They should be recognized for this outstanding! read more

Staff was extremely rude. I went to look for a fuse and a couple of items for my car. I drive for Uber. They did not have my fuse but they had a couple other things that I liked. I asked them if I could use my PayPal account, they said yes. So we tried to use the card several times it didn't work. Okay, no problem I'll go outside to my car and look for cash. I told the guy I'd be back within a few minutes he said okay no problem. When I come back about three or four minutes later the doors locked and he would not let me in. That's not the worst part. The worst was the way he laughed at me. Then I could see him he proceeded to tell his coworker about me when I was walking back to my car. I don't understand how somebody can treat the customer so badly. They were just dealing with me less than five minutes prior. If he would have told me that they were closing, I would have never bothered going to my car and looking for the money. I've been in retail sales for a very long time I understand how it is to close the register and what a hassle it is for a customer to come in after close, but I told them I was going to be right back and I had no idea they were closing.
