This location is my number one stop when I'm having car trouble, my check engine light was on and they were able to read the issue which ended up being a damaged gas cap, they got me a new one, told me how to swap out the old with the new and just like that I was on my way. read more

I'm a big Autozone user. I DIY just about everything, and usually, autozone is my store, because of the service. But lately, the store closest to my folks house has just collapsed in service. Plus, the email receipt system is not great. So here's a suggestion: if a customer made the mistake of accepting an email receipt, this is the procedure: I'm sorry. Was the transaction over $20, and did you use you autozone membership? Yes? Great, you can look up the transaction # and I can recover your receipt. Do you have the card you used? Yes? Great! It will refund to your card. Not, as happened, telling me the part that didn't fit will fit in another brand after I told you I have to buy it direct from my car maker. Not insisting there's nothing you can do, when I was able to figure out what you should know. Not just giving up and hoping I'd go away, when actually you could have used my loyalty (ha!) number to look the transaction without me having to work it out on my own. Tell me, do you want me to go somewhere else? Because there's a Napa and an O'Reilly's in town that I could go to - I have been coming here because the service used to be superior. read more

Every time I go to this location there is a man working. He has a darker tan complexion with a mustache but he always has a cocky attitude and I'm surprised as to why he still works here. One day I needed to use the code reader and he handed it to me and in a cocky tone said "do you know how to use one of these" just because I am a woman doesn't mean I'm incompetent . I know how to use a code reader. Since that time I tried to avoid ever getting help from him until today I needed a wiper blade for my car. Something simple and yet again he came at us with a tone and cocky attitude because we needed help figuring out what one to get as the connecting piece isn't the one cars usually have. From now on I will only be supporting oriellys because there's no way I'm going to keep giving my money to a company that hires a**holes who literally Use a computer to tell me what part i need, which in that case one of the managers gave me the wrong belt for my car even after putting my info in . After searching online and calling numerous auto parts stores all over the Sacramento, Elk Grove, Lodi and Stockton area for a hard to find part for my Mazda I thought I should just give up on getting it the same day. But then I called the Galt location despite the website showing they didn't have it in stock. This location was the only place that offered to get the part for me the same day. I didn't even know that was an option because no one I had already called even offered this. I regret I didn't not get the gentleman's name but he told me if I had called before noon they would have been able to get it to me by 4 but it was 1:30 so I had missed that truck by a long shot but he was still able to get it for me last night at 7:30. Came in not knowing what to really expect but instantly was greeted by multiple staff. I honestly had no clue what the part was called so did my best to expansion it. He immediately pulled parts up and was showing me images of them while asking tons of questions before we found out what it was. So my wife tells me her grandmas car needed a new battery. I picked up a battery from this location late one night to take to grandma the following day. Turns out the battery was not the problem. I never installed the battery or even removed it from my trunk until I returned it to the store less than 24 hours later. Some young manager determined in his expert opinion that the battery had been installed and used. I asked "why do you think it's been installed?" He pointed out some corrosion on one of the terminals and said corrosion only formes after the battery is installed (and apparently in a matter of hours). Knowing that the battery was actually new, I was surprised myself to see the little corrosion that had developed. But I figured if one battery has corrosion, there were more on the shelves with the same problem. So I asked the young manager "Your telling me If I go over to your shelves, I won't find one battery with corrosion?" He responded "you can go have a look". Another employee escorted me over to the battery rack where we of course found several other battery's with the same amount of corrosion!! Even the employee told the manager the batteries on the shelf were in the same condition of the one I was returning!! But being the young supervisor he was, he stood by his word. I drove to a more experienced manager in Lodi and was out the door in 1 minute with cash in hand -_- read more
