He not long ago sold his business and I went in for a simple oil change and tire sensor replacement. I asked them if they sold or gave away customer information and the gentleman told me no; they only reported repairs to Carfax. Didn't like it, but I can understand that. I told them not to sell or give away my info. 8 weeks ago, I received a letter at home from Sirius XM radio saying my auto service center and SiriusXM want to thank me for bringing my vehicle in for service and was offering me 3 months free to sign up. They even had the make and model of my vehicle listed in the letter. More junk mail and people trying to get more money. They sold or gave away my personal info after I told them not to. They now have my name, address, phone number and credit card. I was thinking of going back and having another $500+ in repairs they told me needed done, NOT NOW. I wonder how much it really needs and how much were added on. Guess I'll find out when I go elsewhere, they deceived me and now it's time to find another shop. They give you a great price for an oil change and make their money on the back side. I'd rather pay more for honest service than deceptions and add ons I may not need. It's time for damage control on what info may have gotten out. You can bet I'm watching my account after this adventure. After years of dealing with this business I hate to say this, BEWARE IF YOU GO THERE. I won't take another chance. Snyder's Auto was an honest, dependable and reasonable repair shop, not so much so now. Addendum: It's been about 4 weeks since I typed this, and I was thinking of deleting this and moving on. However, I just received another solicitation from SiriusXM with my information on it from the service visit. They get your info and do anything they want with it. Now Sirius will pass it on, and so on, and so on. What happens if someone else gets your info? or if you get hacked? do you think they will pay to recover your loses? I very much doubt it. I'm seriously thinking of turning this all over to the BBB and Chamber of Commerce. If you want to take a chance of your info getting out go here, it's your choice. Finally on my way home and my holiday shopping complete I needed to focus on me and my needs. I…read moreknew I needed a few items for my vehicle and I wanted to stop at a place on the route home. GPS showed this was the closest to my location at that time and I headed there. I ended up coming in and looked around for a bit to locate my items that I needed. I also wanted to get some of that canned window cleaner as I find that works best in my vehicle. I needed to replace my fog lights on my vehicle and of course the ones I wanted was on a peg with a security device. I had to go to the counter to ask if someone could unlock it for me so I can purchase them. I also wanted to get disposable gloves so I didn't end up touching the bulbs and cause them to burn out quicker. With all my items in hand I make my way to the register to check out. It went smoothly here, for the most part. Items were scanned, bagged and paid for. I go to exit the store and the alarm goes off. It seems that their system to deactivate the security tags does not work. So they just waved me out of the store. I mean, cool, but this is a perfect place to load your pockets up with things and test if they are paying attention to shoplifting (I am not advocating for that, don't do it).

He was quick to get to me and was super nice and helpful. Due to the battery being completely dead and corroded we couldn't get the car into neutral so he helped get it into neutral. Additionally once the car was on the truck he asked if any keys on the key ring I might need which I hadn't even thought about. Overall it was a great experience super quick and very helpful. Way better than other experiences I've had in the past.

He also said they would have to tow it from the rear and because it had a hard, folding bed cover (factory installed) his boss would not allow them to tow it. Afraid the cover would blow off and damage the cab (not likely with a folding hard cover). I called AAA back and they are sending another company. They confirmed that their carriers use dollies, skates and whatever is necessary all the time. So, if you want a bunch of excuses as to why they can't tow your vehicle - call A&D. If you don't want to waste your time - call another towing company.

First, I need you to have the part that I need in stock, preferably that day. Secondly, I need to get me through the checkout process in a reasonable timeframe, preferably quickly. I went in for oil and a filter and it took nearly an hour to be checked out. I found the staff behind the counter to be unknowledgeable of their own store stock and pricing. I was assured that the oil I purchased had a rebate to go with it but was never given the rebate form. When I have returned to try to get products off-the-shelf they never seem to be in stock. I've also had other experiences where I've had to wait in line for extended periods of time. It seems as though the store is understaffed and the staff is undertrained.

Brought it back 2 times and was told too busy to really check it out and told me to take it elsewhere. All these people want is your money. I brought it to another local shop and the technician figured out the problem in like 30 seconds. He lifted car up brought me in shop and showed me. pictures and video taken. The service manager at the new shop tried to call American quality service center and he was told by Mike the so called manager it not his problem. So if you like a shop with zero customer service ability,shotty half ass work and a place that doesn't stand behind its work this shop is for you. Just bring your own lube because they don't supply it when the screw you. Probably should rename the shop and take quality out of the name. American cant fix a car worth a shit service center. Is much more accurate. My neighbor spent 500 dollars on brakes there and they left the caliper bolt out. I have referred 4 customers to them and together they spent almost 1800 dollars. Needless to say I talked to all of them so now that's 6 customers they lost. And many more to come with the shirt show of a shop this is
