I was working on my car, when I was ready to install the Oil Filter it wouldn't go in. I noticed the threats were not evenly separated, I called Autozone and see if they can exchange it and deliver it. Unfortunately they do deliver but not to residential even tho their product is defective. Guillermo, the guy I spoke to was sarcastic and nowhere empathetic to the situation. He was also the one that looked at me in line and let me wait (me thinking he was just rebooting his computer) until some one told me, "he can help you". I tried to figure out my key battery but I couldn't so I asked the guy at the counter. This place has consistently gotten the job done for me. First off they are open everyday until 9pm, which really comes in handy. They have always had good customer service. I went in yesterday hellbent on buying three parts to get the job done and the worker showed me a different way of doing it and it only took two parts. Saving money....YA!!!! Super clean place and I am enjoying coming here. P.S. They loan out parts. I needed a harmonic balance puller. For $20 bucks they gave me the puller kit and I believe you have 30-60 or 90(I forget how exactly long) days to return it with your receipt for full refund. Super cool! Although my issue was a pretty easy fix, Jacob helped me out big time. Not only did he reassure me that my battery was an easy fix, but he also made sure that I got a replacement battery that was under warranty. Also, he went above and beyond and helped me replace my battery, made sure my car would start after we replaced it, and was extremely nice the entire time while helping me. I dont know alot about cars, and sometimes get a little imtimidated going to people with my car problems, but now I know that I can rely on Autozone in Lincoln to help me out. Autozone and I have a love hate relationship. Some times things are great and we are the happiest couple imaginable. Other times I am just short of winning a restraining order from them in response to my super animated displays of dissatisfaction. Times like when they give me a part that is manufactured wrong and for some stupid reason, I spend way more time than is even possible, trying to make it work anyway, before finally cheating on AZ with another part supplier who has the part CORRECT...... I digress... This location is right next to little ceasars and management has turned over half a dozen times while I have been shopping here. Some better than others. Entertaining at times. Frustrating at others. Currently I think the crew is pretty good. So far. Mind you I almost always have part numbers when I come in to avoid the confusion which is so common now days. They did good 1 time, really bad 1 time, and so so a handful of times to date, leaving them right dab in the middle with a 3 star rating. The store is clean. Newer. The greeting is always welcoming as you enter the store. The store is well lit and never stinks. The prices are generally the best in town and they do price matching. I will keep coming here as I don't have many choices. When/If they get their act all the way together I will adjust my review accordingly. This store has amazing customer service and goes the extra mile to ensure you understand any issues with your vehicle or car needs. I went in for a free code reading which typically cost $125-$175 for a auto mechanic to run and tell you then charge for parts labor etc... after reading my codes the friendly Associates assisted me even further by generously offering to look up the code meanings, and print me out the parts/prices and said it's not to difficult to fix. Had a surprise weekend project: Water pump failed on the old (not that old) Toyota. Ordered the part on Thursday, came in Saturday. Had to get it done Sunday... unfortunately, the part was missing an O-ring. I went into the store, and although they couldn't find an O-ring the right size, they helped me out with some gasket maker. Stopped in today because my breaks went out while driving nearby. I realized I wasn't out of brake fluid, but something else must be wrong. Anthony (one of the managers) volunteered to come out to look at my car without my asking for his assistance. He saw the vacuum hose for the breaks had come off and was old and cracked. He grabbed the new hose necessary to replace the old one and fixed it for me within five minutes. Saved me a bunch of time, money and hassle. Will definitely go back for all of my auto needs. Highly disappointed in their diagnostic plugin tool to diagnose what was wrong with my SUV. According to it all I needed was a PCV valve so replaced and I was on vacation to Tahoe. Got back and still having issues I took it in to the garage only to find out it was actually a water pump issue. Relying on Auto Zones electronics diagnostic tool may have completely damaged my vehicle, at very least it has run up my repair bill due to extensive damage due to inadequate diagnostics. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I walked in to simply buy some oil and various vehicle fluids, I asked for help being that I am 37 weeks pregnant and didn't feel like walking around the entire store looking for what I need. The manager was the one I asked. He immediately started degrading me, speaking down to me and acting like I am an idiot simply for being a women. I proceeded to tell him that if he was going to treat me like that I would just shop at a local competitors store where I am NOT treated rudely and I would also be informing corporate office of his behavior towards me. I started walking away and he started physically following me and kept yelling at me. I kept walking attempting to ignore him and not let him get more angry because I felt like he might hit me or something, I went straight to my vehicle outside where he continued to follow me and started writing down my personal information all while laughing at me! Now some strange man with an obvious anger problem has my vehicle information and I have no idea why he did that or what his reasons were except to intimidate me. Not only will I NEVER shop there again but I will be telling all of my friends (who are women) how a women is treated at this store and to be careful because the guy either likes to intimidate women or is just a creep. This is what I know: I should never walk into a store and feel physically threatened by a manager. I should never be treated differently or with disrespect because I am a women. Horrible customer service. I have commercial accounts at Riebe's and O'Reilly but not here. I had a terrible experience here when I was scouting to see if it would be a good idea to open a commercial account. I went at 8 on a Wednesday evening. I walked in the store, the 2 guys working looked at me, and walked into the back. no, "how are you?" or "can I help you find anything?" whatever. so I get the stuff I need and walk up the the front where the manager and parts guy were standing. I look at them to figure out which register I'm supposed to go to, the manager looks at the parts guy and says, "you got that?" parts guy responds,"yeah." He then walks to a computer, slams what he had in his hands on the counter, bangs they keys on the keyboard, grabs my items, rings them up, and hands me my receipt. Not one word was spoken during this time. Not one. needless to say I won't be going back, and I definitely won't be purchasing any parts for my shop here. Enormous fail auto zone.
