I explained that I had recently purchased the truck and the salesperson told me if I could find the receipt or provide the previous owner's phone number the battery would be replaced at no charge. Excited at the prospect of saving a couple of hundred dollars, I returned home and spent 20 minutes or so searching for the receipt and taking pics of the original owner's phone number. I couldn't find the receipt but, armed with a phone number and email from the previous owner I returned to the store. A different sales person then informed me that the warranty wasn't transferrable and I was out of luck. The original sales person was still working the counter and I asked why that person said I could provide a receipt or phone number to get a free replacement. "I don't know, warranties aren't transferable". I honestly expected to pay for a new battery anyway, but the mixed messages cost me a bit of time and frustration- I have other things I need to do. I would have just bought a battery in the first place had I known... piss poor experience and piss poor customer service.

No one's moving as if they're really that busy back there. They just rather be in the back than helping a customer in the front. I showed up about 1 hour and 15 minutes before I had to leave to pick up my son - this probably wasn't a good idea on my part. But I told them I had to leave and they actually fixed the car within one hour - the other Toyota dealerships didn't come close to this. As it turned out the two key fobs only had a minor problem and they fixed them for free instead of charging me a few hundred for coming in. So I will be going back when I have a problem or for a new car when the time comes.

I was beyond excited for my purchase and felt super secure in knowing that I was going to have my car taken care of when I dropped it off every 5,000 miles. That is when the fun stopped with this dealership. I have had more than a few occasions with the service department that have been less than pleasant, but today was the worst experience I have ever had with anybody that has serviced my car during my lifetime. Today I went in for my 30,000 mile warranty. For the 30,000 warranty, they are supposed to do a variety of things, including changing my oil and rotating the tires. For some reason, I had the inspiration of taking a picture and marking my tires to see if they were actually doing the service that they were paid to do through my comprehensive service package. When I received my car back, I noticed that all my tires that I had marked and had taken a picture of were still on the exact same wheel as I had them on when they arrived. Normally every 5,000 miles they rotate the wheel from front to back, this was not done. I went inside and asked the man exactly what was done with my car during this service. He informed me that the wheels were rotated along with the oil change and the other stuff that was done. I let him know that was certainly not the case as I had marked all my wheels before coming in and know they weren't moved at all. The man then went back to the service tech and confirmed with her that she did not move them at all (even though I was told and the service states they were supposed to). When I was leaving, the man asked me what he could do to make it right. Honestly, I was ready to buy another car for my girl who is pregnant from them. I even had the conversation while dropping off my car with this man that I was ready to buy another car. This has taught me that will not happen and I will be taking my business elsewhere for her car. They have saved me a headache of another car with them. I truly don't believe they even put oil in my car or did anything for my 30,000 miles. I don't even want to return to my scheduled maintainence with this dealership because I truly believe they don't do the work they say they do. It is sad that I have to take a physical picture and then confront them for me to finally be told the truth about my wheels. I work hard for my car payments and services. I hope this serves to anyone out there to not do business with this corrupt dealership. They do not do the work they claim to have done. Please avoid this dealership at all cost and save yourself the headache that I have received by them.

Unacceptable service and a complete lack of integrity…read more I brought my GMC Sierra in for a mechanical vacuum pump replacement under warranty. Shortly after returning home, I noticed oil dripping off the skid plate and onto the ground. Concerned about a potential issue with the repair, I had to return to the dealership to ensure it wasn't a live leak. This was after they already had the vehicle all day. I dealt directly with a customer service manager, Ken Baugh. Instead of actually fixing the issue, Ken chose to lie to my face and show me fake pictures to move me along and cover up sloppy workmanship. He specifically blamed a "pad" on the skid plate that supposedly hadn't been cleaned completely. After dropping and cleaning the skid plate myself today, I discovered that Ken had shown me a photo of a completely different vehicle--my truck does not have any padding on the skid plate. I ultimately had to crawl under the truck myself to verify the integrity of the repair. What I found was a complete mess. Below the area of the replaced vacuum pump, the differential housing and the skid plate were absolutely filthy with leftover oil. Worse yet, the technician had left the skid plate bolts loose. This was the state of the vehicle after "two cleanings"--supposedly one at the completion of the job and a second when I returned to the shop with an oil leak. When you go to a dealership for repairs, you expect professional service and basic honesty. Instead, I got a manager who fakes documentation to dismiss a customer's legitimate concerns and a technician who can't even torque down a skid plate or clean up after themselves. I had to spend my own time under the truck cleaning up their mess and tightening their loose hardware. I have zero trust in this dealer or their service department. Avoid at all costs.

My recent situation was a 'simple' repair and upgrade requiring a lift, and a 4 wheel alignment. So I found Auburn Service Center by referral from my smog guy (Thomas at California Smog). Took my car in for inspection and an estimate ... shocker ... a mechanic 'building up' the repair costs? Rich tells me there are also some 'other' things needing replacement (a bent rear trailing arm and a front sway link). Rich SHOWED me his concerns and sure enough it was just as he said. Final cost ($398.15) was still below the $450 - $600 I was expecting to pay and it included the additional work. Bottom line is, I have no reservation using Auburn Service Center for all my future repairs, possibly including some I would typically do myself. Oh, and my car now drives straight as an arrow with hands off the wheel, so it was a good alignment.
