This is the radiator neck with the broken piece of the cap in it.
    Lorie C.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have found a knowledgeable and helpful employee at this AutoZone Store on Dobson Rd. Store # 2785. His name is Danny. I had been to 3 AutoZone Stores in the past few days trying to fix the problem of my SUV running hot. I had the best experience at this AutoZone Store with their employee named Danny. He helped with getting the new hose onto the overflow tank. Told me where the 2 small leaks in my old hose were. Then we were getting a new radiator cap as mine had started to fall apart from the SUV running hot. I had to go to a different AutoZone for my radiator cap. Talking to the employees at the 2 other AutoZone stores was a frustrating experience to say the least. I went to put the radiator cap on and it wouldn't go on. I tried to explain my problem to the employee at the AutoZone where I went to get the cap... and all I basically got was " I don't know". I went back to the AutoZone on Dobson Rd. the next evening hoping Danny would be working, he was. I explained the problem to him. He went out to my SUV and immediately figured out the issue. The old cap had broken apart in the neck of the radiator. Danny got some pliers and carefully worked on getting that piece out, explaining to me what needed to be done in order for the new cap to go on. Danny got the broken part out & the new cap went on perfectly. Danny was amazing. Went the extra step to helping a customer. I was so relieved to finally be able to have this 3 day problem resolved. I live an hour away in Casa Grande. I had been in Mesa visiting my parents when the running hot issue happened with my SUV & was due back home. If ya all want a knowledgeable employee at an AutoZone - plz go to the store on Dobson and ask for Danny. He didn't make me feel like I was bothering him when I went there with my 100 questions and actually wanted to help! The other AutoZone stores that I had been to- the employees looked at me like I was speaking a new language. Danny is a valuable employee! He should get a raise. Maybe he should train the other employees at the other 2 stores abt customer service. Danny took all my stress away by helping me with my SUV issue. And he did it with a great attitude and a smile. I just can't say enough about how helpful and knowledgeable he was. I am not one to give reviews, but I just felt this one is well deserved. Remember - Danny at the AutoZone Store on Dobson- he is the employee that can help you!

The handicap spot I was denied access for their all super important delivery.

It looks like the people here don't know what parts to sell even when I show them the car and they let people in without mask.

I stopped at O'Reilly Auto Parts on 855 W University Drive in Mesa (85201), and a very professional and knowledgeable lady came out to the parking lot to help me. They jumped my car and brought it over to the store, where she carefully tested the battery, starter, and other components. She discovered that the problem was actually a loose battery cable. She fixed the cable and did all the necessary tests to make sure everything was working properly. My car was running again! I was very impressed with her professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to help me when I was stranded. She took the time to find the actual problem and fix it. I highly recommend this O'Reilly Auto Parts location on University Drive in Mesa. Thank you so much for your help and excellent customer service! You made a stressful situation so much easier.

I had a very disappointing experience at Carizona…read more I spent hours at the dealership working through a deal with Danny and a manager. I was presented with monthly payment numbers that I agreed to. I literally signed an agreement. Before signing, I made sure to ask all the right questions. I verified the monthly payment multiple times to ensure I understood exactly what I was signing. After signing the initial agreement, purchasing car insurance, paying my down payment, and providing six references along with proof of income and residency, I was brought into the finance office to sign the final paperwork--the last step before receiving the keys. I signed several documents (privacy forms, warranty paperwork, etc.) before we got to the retail installment contract showing the loan terms and monthly payment. This is where I felt like I was hit with a bait-and-switch. The monthly payment on the contract was about $100 higher than what we had agreed to. I immediately spoke up. We had agreed to **$389/month**. The contract said **$482.09/month**, while the finance manager told me his computer showed **$489/month**. Somehow there were three different payment amounts for the same deal. At that point, I was told they could no longer honor the payment we had agreed to. Whether that was because of the bank or dealership management was never clearly explained. We asked them to honor the agreement we had already signed, but they refused. Instead, they countered with a payment of around $450/month, even though I had repeatedly stated throughout the 7-8 hours we were there that my budget was **$400/month or less**. I walked out of the finance office without signing anything further. To their credit, the salesperson I worked with genuinely tried to make the deal happen, but the final decision appeared to come from management or the finance department. We ultimately left without purchasing the vehicle after spending nearly an entire day at the dealership. We had actually tried to leave around 3:00 p.m., but were assured they had found a vehicle that fit my budget. Unfortunately, that fell apart at the very last step. After canceling the deal, I was understandably concerned about getting my money back. Thankfully, the dealership did process a full refund, and Victor was very responsive and quick to provide documentation showing it was being processed. My insurance company also refunded my policy. Overall, I left feeling that the sales process lacked transparency--which is ironic, because "transparency" was mentioned repeatedly throughout the sales presentation. If a dealership cannot honor the payment being presented to a customer, that should be made clear **before** someone spends hours completing paperwork, purchases insurance, pays a down payment, and provides extensive personal information. While I appreciate that the refund was handled appropriately, the overall experience was frustrating enough that I chose to continue my car search elsewhere. I would encourage anyone shopping here to carefully review every document, verify every number, and avoid purchasing insurance or handing over money until the final loan contract is in front of you.
