Brutal ... avoid, avoid, avoid .. Arrived at 3pm for oil change and battery replacement ... currently 7:45pm and still waiting. Two other customers waited just as long to change one or 2 tires. Booked an installation appointment, showed up at 8AM on a Sunday just to find out that only 3 out of the 4 tires were there. I can't stand this place. I only come here because it's close to my house (and it's cheap) but it seems like every 3rd time I come here there's a problem. From the last 5 years I've been going here, I've had multiple issues with bad customer service and multiple instances where I was refused service. I once tried to get an oil change and was told by a very rude employee that they did not do appointments. She was so rude in fact that every time I came in afterwards I actively avoided her service. I was also refused an oil change another time because of a cracked oil cap. When I did it myself the cap was in perfect condition. So I guess they're just okay with lying to customers to get out of doing work. Another time I asked for a tire rotation and I was told to come back another day since they had too many cars in queue. There was like 3 cars ahead of me in queue that day. Anyway, this place is terrible but like I said it's cheap and close to my house. read more

Called in to see if there was a long wait and they said it wasn't busy at all, pulled up and doors were locked and nobody talked to me I went up to the entrance and the workers turned their heads so I went to the other side so I can talk the employees and they walked away except for one of them told me to pull up and someone would help me, 20 min went by and nobody came, I wonder how bad it would have been if they were actually busy. Called in again and asked if they were busy and the lady said they weren't busy at all and I said why nobody would take me and she said I have to talk to them to send someone to write me up. THIS REVIEW IS FOR LOCATION 857 N DOBSON IN MESA, AZ. DO NOT TRUST YOUR VEHICLE WITH THIS INCOMPENTANT PLACE. If I could give this place a lower rating I would. Took my car to have a simple oil change. Parked the car, handed the key fob to the attendant and went inside to shop. Got a call 15 minutes later... they had moved my car outside the bay for the oil change, and suddenly the key fob would not start the car. The steering was locked; nothing would work. When I walked over, I found the same attendant with my key fob in his hand, only he had disassembled it. The department manager arrived; after several minutes she told us she would go in and look at video to see what actually happened. This woman was the only good experience I had with this place... very friendly. Twenty minutes later, the store manager arrived. Very rude, talked over us and denied any fault on the store's part. I had to call a tow truck at my expense and have my car removed. I'm planning on going further up the chain and trying to at least get compensated for the tow... read more

Good morning Rose! This review is for you. I have been at the store since 6 AM mind you the tire center does not open till seven. They have chairs placed there to the side in the lobby. I had removed one of the chairs since I had an hour weight and moved it 3 feet to be in position for first in line. Waited 30 min for the check in person to check me in. He knew I was there. Front desk told me to park in front of the tire service bay. I waited patiently and let the check in guy do what he wanted to do. He finally comes over and very rudely says, "I can't help you." I said, "why." He said, "Can't you see how many cars we have here for tires?" I said, "Where?" He pointed over to the parking lot where some cars were parked. I said, "how was I supposed to know that. I just parked here like the front desk said." He said, "Well we are too busy to help you. You will be here all day until 7pm if we take it." I said, "ok I'll go somewhere else." The check in guy could have EASILY came over and told me all of that before I wasted 30 min watching him tidy up the place. Plus, where is the communication between the shop and the front desk? Went in for an oil change, flate repair, and tire rotation. When it was all said and done, my directional tires(meaning they are only meant to be mounted on a certain side of the truck) were on the wrong side. And one the wheel stud threads were stripped in the process resulting in now im having to pay someone else to remove the wheel, brake calipers and rotor to install a new stud. Sent my daughter to Walmart Auto Center on Dobson in Mesa to have them repair a tire purchased at Walmart with the protection plan. The guy at the Tire Center lookup up her tire, told her they did not have one, and then stared at her like the next step was hers to take. No offer to order one. No offer to lookup where they may have one. Nothing. To help my college age daughter, I tried calling the store. Two calls of 20 min each to the auto center that rang no answer, and a third call to the store main number, where I'm still on hold waiting for a manager for 15 minutes. Wish i could give less then 1 start was told my tire patch would be done in 45 min to 1 hour and went back after 1.5 hours and still was told 45 to an hour went back after 2.5 hours and still not done so i left and went to discount tires and they fixed it in 30 minutes won't go there ever again. And plus they don't even have a nice area for guest that wait 2 hours to hang out at. While at discount got offered drinks and had some movies on. read more

Yesterday when I went into the auto center at riverview walmart I set an appointment to get two new tired at 1 pm today, I was there at quarter to one and was told that it would take an hour. I walked the store for a little over an hour and came back to find that my vehicle was still parked in the same spot that I pulled it into, I requested the mgr and he came out and told me that they haven't even looked at my car yet because they were pullin in other cars that came after me. We came here right when they opened in hopes of getting our tires changed so we can enjoy a fun day at the river. We were second in line and they said it was about an hour wait. We decided to toughen it out and wait the hour. Instead of getting a head start on our day, we waited three hours because they served other cars that came in after us. Went this morning to get a tire balance. Spoke with the department manager about my service, she takes the key and asked about an ETA, which she couldn't give me after I told her that the other manager who unlocked the door informed me and other customers that there was only one technician working, so it would be a little while before we could be helped. After giving her my keys, I waited over an hour, which, initially wasn't a problem, as I needed to grab some items. Then, after receiving notifications on my service starting and ending, I'm told the technician declined the service because of uneven tread. Truthfully, I would've understood, considering they cited Walmart regulations and all that jazz... had they not held my car hostage for so long. It wasn't the cashier's (Eva) fault, but the patronizing tone her supervisor took was what set me off. I don't need an explanation when I already said I'm not buying new tires. And even if I would've bought new tires, it wouldn't be there. This is the same location that couldn't even do a simple fuel injection service I wanted a few months ago, because of not having the tools or whatever. Walmart is already crappy, but this location is low, even by the standards I've already set for Walmart. Hire competent/professional techs and get a new manager while y'all at it. read more

Clinton's customer service is horrendous!! The worst I've ever seen in any industry. The first experience I had with him he moved at turtle speed and was so unfriendly. Doesn't even say hi to customers. I have seen him argue with multiple customers. Shouldn't be working in customer service. I have had better experiences at the MVD. read more

Worst service ever. Got car towed there for a flat tire at 9:30 am. Was told it would be ready in 3-4 hours. Called 6 hours later- they had t started service, when they finally got to it they told us they couldn't repair it and it would need to be replaced. They then went on to telling us that they don't carry the tire we need. When we went to pick up car that still had a flat tire at 5:00 no one was around to help. Never again will we use there service. They were rude and extremely unprofessional. read more
