Stopped by AutoZone earlier because my blinker bulb went out. Right away, a guy named Kevin came over and was super friendly. He helped me find the right bulb without making me feel dumb (because let's be real, I had no clue what I was doing). What really stood out, though, was that he offered to help me swap it out too. He didn't have to do that. Most people wouldn't even offer. That kind of thing actually means a lot...just someone being decent and going a little out of their way. Not many people like that anymore. Julie and Miguel were absolutely wonderful. I had a light go out and didn't know which bulb to replace, let alone how to do it. They came out and looked at my car and searched under the hood. They found out which bulb it was and then proceeded to replace the bad one. They were amazingly knowledgeable and so helpful and friendly. AutoZone is truly blessed to have them on their team! My daughter was about to take her driving test today at the DMV when the evaluator noted our back brake light was out. She could not be tested! Of course, she was very disappointed because she had prepared well! The evaluator suggested that we get the light replaced and, since it wasn't too busy, come back and she could possibly go standby. I looked for the closest place to get car parts and found this AutoZone. When I called to see if they carried brake lights, I was told yes! I explained what happened at the DMV and the guy I was speaking with said, "Well, come on over here and let's get that fixed for her!" When we walked in the shop, I saw a young man (I wish I got his name) at the register helping someone. As we made eye contact, I asked if he just talked to someone about a rear brake light and he said, "yes!" After finishing up with his customer, he sprang into action and got the bulb, rang me up, and then headed out to my car. I asked if he would help replace the bulb and he said, "of course!" This young man was so calm, which really helped to calm my nervous daughter. He said this exact thing happened to his younger brother. We were back at the DMV before the evaluator had time to put our paperwork away! She took my daughter out for the road test and my daughter passed! Really can't even express the wonderful customer service I received today, after I got a car emergency handed to me by my elderly parents. The associates were very knowledgeable, helpful and so polite and turned a very stressful situation for me into a completely easy fix, and had me out the door with the proper parts in no time. Kelafi (please forgive me if that's spelled wrong) was the associate that Mainly helped me troubleshoot and rang me up; and even helped me get a battery carried to my car, and another associate with a beard, was also very personable as well. Julie helped me with wiper blades. She was wonderful, taking the time to explain the different kinds of blades and even helped me pick out the best ice/snow removal tool since mine had broken. She was personable, professional and thorough and I left feeling like I had just met a new friend. The service and availability of what I needed was just as great as it was on my last visit. I have been going to this particular store for a few years now and never cease to be amazed at how thoughtful and considerate everyone is and how they always give me great guidance to ensure I get just what I need. This place is my 'go-to' for most auto parts. I work on all of my own vehicles so I am in here often. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The store is kept clean and doesn't smell funky. They have a good selection of various fluids/filters which is what I normally come in here for. Do yourself a favor and buy a filter other than Fram, any other filter is of better quality than that brand. They do also stock a good amount of replacement parts for most cars. I occasionally have to order a part or have one brought from another store but not enough to complain about. The last part I had to order came in a day earlier than expected which was a nice surprise. Their store brand can be a great value and sometimes comes with a lifetime warranty. They have an awesome loyalty program, ask about it next time you're here if you don't already have a card! read more

So... my visit was a 1 star visit. I had to deal with a manager that was just South mediocre when it comes to customer service. Answered questions by saying "thats the way it is." When I'd say "can you explain how that works?" His reply was "probably not." Long and short it took a call to the District manage Jason Messick who was nothing short of amazing. Took our call, resolved our issues and did it all within a few minutes. Jason understands customer service and I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. Well organized auto parts store. Envious of those who have newer cars, I was on hot pursuit to beautify my 18 year old toyota and hopeful that if I treat it well, it would treat me well back. I was looking for a dash topper. The young gentleman behind the counter was helpful enough to offer to order one online for me but was honest enough to say that it would bee less expensive if I order it myself. Great location. I came in to return windshield wipers that were not correct for my car. They were sold to me by the Sparks location. I had the receipt and as they completed the return asked if I had found the ones I needed. I said no I couldn't find them and was going to look online. The employee took me over to the display, grabbed what I needed and walked outside to my car with me. I have never had a vehicle with the wiper adaptor that my new vehicle has. He popped them out of the box and showed me how to snap them on. Then we took the box back inside and completed, what was now, an exchange. Incredible. I only wish all their employees were this well trained because it would have saved me a return / exchange. I will also say, their De-Icer windshield washer fluid is amazing. I have no idea ho my vehicles ever survived without it. No more frosty windshields in the morning or after snowboarding. I have started to grab a few extra bottles every time I am close by. What a difference from the O'Reilly's around the corner. Very modern and clean inside, and while not huge, a noticeably better selection of merchandise. I looked for car mats and found exactly the brand I was looking for, which were a heavy duty and much weightier type that I needed for living up in the snowy mountains. I was pleased when the sales clerk noticed how heavy the mats were and didn't blink an eye when I asked if he'd help me carry all the stuff I bought to my car. Instead of just selling me the battery first, they offered to test my original battery and make sure it needed replacement. Sure enough it did and they had my battery in stock! They also, since it was easy access, replaced it for me too! Excellent customer service, very friendly and really appreciated them offering to test my battery before selling me a new one! As an ex truck driver, now a fleet supervisor, a woman and a customer I'm disgusted at by the foul mouthed employees talking crap about the customers after they walk out the door. I was in the back looking at stirring wheel covers so they didn't know I was there. They were cussing over a lady getting upset because they mutually did not understand what the other needed. They were saying get out of my store f-ing B**** I don't want your f-ing business anyways. When I confronted them and told them they literally should not be talking about their customers that way, much less in front of other customers one of them laughed and said oh well. I told him I was serious and I knew they would talk about me now but I didn't care because at least I was doing the right thing. They said they didn't see me. I paid for my stuff and left. But I left for good! I will never walk through those doors again! This is okay treatment of customers??? I expect better! Maybe up your pay and hire from a better pool of people! read more

Came here to purchase new bulbs because one of my headlights were out. Kirk was helpful when looking for which ones I needed. While being rung up, I had asked Kirk if there was anyway he could help me replace my light, mind you I'm not even sure if that's what their jobs entail as Auto Zone employees, but I didn't think it'd hurt to ask. But in return I got a sarcastic "HA" and Kirk explained to me that 1. It was almost closing time and 2. It is sometimes difficult to replace headlights in a Jeep and he didn't want to deal with it. I wouldn't have had a problem with this if he wasn't rude about it and if I had not watched him help a couple who came in 5 minutes after me. He kept running in and out of the store, using some sort of diagnostic machine on their car, and eventually brought out a battery and was helping them with whatever it was they needed help with. My theory is that he helped this couple because they had money (so it appeared). So I had a friend of mine replace my lights in the parking lot and left while Kirk was still outside in the lot helping the couple with their needs AFTER closing time. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this Auto Zone. I'll go to one where I am helped and treated equally regardless of how much money I have. read more
