I had an issue at the Bradshaw location which was unresolved as I left the store. When I let Jose the GM know, he went out of his way to contact me promptly. He listened well and took the appropriate action to rectify the situation. Jose went above and beyond in order to provide me with the highest level of customer service possible, which is why I buy the parts I need at AutoZone. They have the correct parts on hand instead of waiting for the mail, and are great about transporting stock from other locations to a nearer store so I don't have to waste time. I came in today trying to get a battery charge due to me seeing my battery light come on my dashboard. A male black worker in a RED SHIRT came out talking on the phone with I'm guessing one of his family members because I HEARD the conversation. As he began testing my battery for a good 3-5s he tells me my battery is done for. As he tell me my battery is done for I then ask for a free battery charge as (WHAT THEY OFFER) and he tells me again that my battery is done for and doesn't try and charge it. He goes back inside and comes right back outside to just get in his car and leave. I was upset that I was stuck up there until the manager came out and began bettering my day! The manager got my battery to charge to 100% and sent me on with my day and less than a hr! I always go to this location and get good customer service, but I didn't like how quick a worker was ready to just tell me my battery is done for like i obviously know it's done for but help me !! I appreciate the manager for doing his job but I would hope the other does his better than what he's doing !! keep in mind iam in my first trimester of pregnancy so it was a real stressful situation until the manager came to help. read more

He recommended the battery may need replacing. So he tested the battery for me, found out it was a battery issue, replaced, and installed my new unit! Horrible store went for a few simple things. One person appeared to be on her break or just not working at the time 5 pm on Sunday. Two other people working registers with 5 people in line the woman walked away from the register and started restocking the returns leaving 4 of us in line and the one guy with a complicated purchase. Okay so I need to start off by saying that the guy who was helping me was SUPER nice to help me out... but the product sucks... I bought a remanufactured alternator for an 2004 Ford Explorer and when I put it in the truck it got a charging warning light.. took it back and it failed the bench test.. they pulled another off the shelf and that failed the bench test too.... so now we are 0/2... they called Folsom blvd and and they had one in stock but prior to driving I wanted them to test that one too... guess what it failed the bench test too... Unable to just refund me since they don't have $175 cash .... my only other option is to buy new from the Folsom blvd store who refused to bench test a new product... The difference is $27.00 and I don't feel like I should pay for the difference because those product is Inferior.. It's sad too because this used to be my go to place but now.... You guys should have just ate the difference and satisfied me as a customer read more

Went in to pick up a fuse that I had ordered but needed to return it due to it being the wrong part that was ordered. Started dealing with a young lady whose name I didn't get who ended up just walking off without saying anything to start helping another customer. Another employee came up and started helping just to say that he needed to get a Mangaer because he wasn't authorized to do a return. That's when I dealt with Lamar who is a "PSM" for AutoZone. He stated that he couldn't do the return because there was no receipt. I told him that I used to work for AutoZone before and all he had to do was reprint it and he started getting very rude with me! I asked if he was being sarcastic to which he replied yes,yes the hell I am.That there reminded me of why I stopped going to AutoZone in the first place and will be the reason why I will never deal with them again! I went in to the store today to buy a battery for my Honda Odyssey. I was helped by Avo & he was so great to work with. I was the only woman in the store and like hardware stores, sometime these places treat women like they don't know anything. I came during a busy time. There was quite a long queue when I arrived. But what I did not understand was that there was only one checkout operator in a line of about 9 people! There were other employees going around the store...looked like they were counting stock or something. But that could have been done later, and the line of customers taken care of first! When my turn came at the checkout, I asked for the rear windshield wiper I needed for my car. The employee punched in the details and told me to go to Aisle 1 and get the 16-B wiper for my car. I just lost my place in the queue...and went back to the end of the line after I got the part! One of those days where patience really is a virtue... I do not know what happened to this store. They stopped caring about customers. They have self checkout now which no man of my age wants to deal with let alone feel forced into the way they did with me yesterday. I tried using it. I have sensory issues in my fingers. I kept getting the numbers wrong in the self checkout thing. I asked for a person to check me out. I was sent to wait in another line because they have no other lines except for cash. The lady behind the counter then lied to the other lady saying i did not want to use self checkout in a very condesending voice. I spoke up and said that was not true, that i tried and it does not work. The lady who wasnt rude eventually checked me out and said sorry for the self checkout. I am too old and disabled to be forced into self checkout. Autozone, your customers who spend money in there do not want to deal with being forced into self checkout. This is unacceptable. read more

I went to auto zone this afternoon to get back up light bulbs for my car, when I tried to install the bulbs that the employee pulled up in the computer for my car and they were the wrong size. I went back to exchange them for the correct ones and was told by a young female employee with piercing that their new policy states they no longer return electrical parts or bulbs but she would do it for me thus time, but the attitude from this young manager was enough to tell me to take my business elsewhere. I have bought from auto zone for alot of years and was never given attitude about a simple exchange, and when I told her I would take my business elsewhere, she didn't seem to care. read more

I hit Murphy's Law tonight! My car was hesitant to start so I drove it to Autozone (Thank sweet baby Jesus!!) Kevin and Jake helped me soooo much- Lifesavers!!! They offered to check the battery. Turns out it was dead, literally 0%. Then they offered to charge it. After an hour of charging, it was still no good. Jake walked me through the purchase options, which was super helpful since I had no idea what I was doing. We go to install the battery, but I had locked my car and closed the hood. And now my key on my fob wouldn't work, and my phone battery was less than 5%. With my iPhone cable in hand, they let me charge it so I could call for roadside assistance and have me a chair so I could rest my weary feet. In the meantime, they tried to troubleshoot. They installed it, gave me helpful information and suggested I come back to test (they were closing) if there may be any other issues. I am sooo thankful I ended up here with Jake and Kevin- two of the sweetest guys and super helpful. read more

READ THIS!! I went to this AutoZone further away from my house because I was told by AutoZone in Rancho Cordova that they had both front brake rotors and pads for my vehicle in stock. I called and confirmed with them that they indeed had the parts in stock. I went there in my car and picked up the parts and went back to my house to install. When I finished one side of the brake job, I went to the other and found that one of the brake rotors I was supplied was the wrong part and was not even for my car! Luckily, I had my girlfriend with me who happened to have her own car and we took the incorrect rotor back with me to the store and asked them to make it correct and swap to the correct rotor for me. I was told that I was speaking with the manager, and he did not want to replace the rotor and they tried to steal money from me by trying to charge me more than the original quote for the rotor because it was a bundle deal that I purchased the brakes and rotors originally and they could not just give me the correct rotor and take the incorrect one back. I was fed up and told them I would come back with all parts and wanted a full refund and left the store. I went back home, took all the parts off of my car and went to the AutoZone store closer to me. I explained the situation to the store manager of the other store in Rancho Cordova and the apologized and did confirm I was given the wrong parts and swapped me out for the correct parts. The store manager then informed me that he did not know what they were doing at the other store but found they charged and cancelled the transaction multiple times so that I may need to check with my bank to verify the correct amount was charged to me. I am very upset and frustrated with this store for the hassle and inconvenience and I hope that corporate AutoZone looks into this review and contacts me for some form of reimbursement for the inconvenience of all of the traveling and time-consuming steps I had to take and the way I was treated at this location because of their mistake. For those who took care of me at the Rancho Cordova location, thank you for the help and working with me to resolve this issue. read more

Came in to get my battery tested as my car had been sitting for a while. Victor was the person that assisted me and was very helpful. He came out and told me of possible issue with battery sitting for so long. I bought a new battery and asked if he could put it in for me. He didn't hesitate, got tools and came right out. After this visit, I called a friend that works for Autozone. He asked if Victor had a grey shirt or red shirt. I told him grey and he said that Victor is a manager and this isn't something that managers normally do. Thank you for your assistance and good customer service Victor. You need a raise. read more

I went to this autozone to get a battery last night unfortunately they didn't have what I needed in stock. Aaron was nice enough to call the other autozone on Folsom Blvd and giving them a heads up that I was coming and what I was looking for. I went to the autozone on Folsom and they wouldn't help me install the battery. The guy seemed as if he just didn't want to help. So I called this autozone back and see if they would help me and they said yes. So I took it back to the autozone on Bradshaw and sure enough Aaron and his coworker took care of me. They even went as far as making sure I got core charge before I drove away. I will continue to go back to this auto zone read more

This place 9 out of 10 times will have what I need. The quality and warranty of the parts is pretty awesome as well. I will say the one down fall is that it's maybe understaffed or maybe it's me come in at the wrong time. But over all this is my go to store. read more

I have tried over and over to give this location another chance. This is the worst AutoZone I have literally ever been too. Have never seen a happy employee working there, they don't care about the customers at all or they wouldn't have one cashier working looking up parts for people and 3 other workers standing around. Not a well oiled machine at all. I have been loyal to AutoZone for well over 10+ years and this location is the one that finally drove me to switch to O'Reilly. Don't EVER waste your time coming to this location unless you want to leave frustrated and ripped off ( they want $40.99 for 5liter of Mobile1.) O'REILLY in the same parking lot $28.99. One time someone was quite helpful and today the store manager ignored me like I didn't exist for 10 minutes and then yelled for someone else to come ring me up like I was an annoyance.
