But I had paid with a credit card. After I'd left this store.I told my friend what I paid for the tires and he was very surprised because he had never paid that much money for tires there before. And I assumed that probably they overcharged me and charged me maybe ring me in for 5 tires, instead of the 4 that I purchased. I called down there and tried to explain what I thought had happened and that I had been overcharged, and that I didn't have a receipt, because I was not offered one at all. The person on the phone was extremely rude to me. I asked to speak with a manager, but they just put me on hold and then hung up on me. I called back again, same thing happened. I asked to speak to someone else, put me on, hold, hung up on me so then I decided to go down there, talk to somebody in person when I got there, of course, they knew who I was. Probably the only female that had been there that morning. They ran back into the office notified my arrival, but then completely ignored me.\n Finally, an employee came out to talk to me. And\n Told me that, since I had bought 4 tires. It was more expensive because it was a full set. Which is odd because it's actually the direct opposite. It's less expensive when you buy off 4\n He asked if my tires had an orange line on them, which made them a set and no, they did not 3 of the 4 had an orange line but they did not all have line painted on them. They refuse to give me a receipt. They would not look up my order by the receipt number. They one hundred percent know I only bought four tires , and they charge me the price of 5. If you're a woman, don't ever go here because they will 100% rip you off, they are a bunch of crooks.

No, no no no no!…read more Avoid this place. I wasted my time and gas to get there so you don't have to. You are welcome! They can't tell you if they have a certain car or not, it's $2 just to walk around. You cant bring in cutting tools, and they won't cut a part off for you. (It was only two friggin stripped nuts and I had a reciprocating saw in my car)!!

My son and friends were supposed to leave town this morning in my car. Last night, we realized a…read moretire had a hole in it. My husband got up early to get it fixed so they could leave as early as possible. We also realized, his car needed new tires and one was bad enough to deem it unable to be driven. So it went into the shop. Our daughter left her new apartment to come home and her car wouldn't start. To say it was a crazy day, is a little bit mild. We swapped cars all day to make things work and my husband was able to get my daughter's car jumped and running. He drove it to an autozone near his work only to be told they couldn't change the battery. It's a 2019 Rogue and there was something that prevented them from putting in a new battery. My husband said the excuse sounded sketch and made up so he came home and called Autozone in Ferguson. They said they should be able to do it. He called me about 35 minutes later RAVING about Tom E and how he was not only able to do it, he went the extra mile to get it done very quickly and efficiently. He (Tom E) realized the other location had put a little bit of a distrust in my husband and he wanted to rebuild that. We were so grateful (especially our daughter who loves her car) that he was able to not only do it, but so quickly. Well done to this location! We won't be strangers.

My battery light came on in my vehicle and my car nearly shut down while I was driving it. Scary…read morebecause it was nighttime. I got it safely towed to the location on 10871 New Halls Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63136, getting there at approximately 10:20 pm. Closing time is 11 pm. My idea was to get them to simply check my battery and if necessary purchase a new one. I got inside and 3 employees, security, and possibly an off-duty employee were chatting and counting down their drawers. Understandable. It was almost closing. I requested the battery check and after maybe 10 minutes of searching, I was told they couldn't find the battery check tool. Also, they couldn't run a diagnostic, they couldn't sell me a battery and they couldn't assist me with jumping my car. Lastly, I asked for the number of the regional manager or an 800 number to inform Autozone about this experience. I was then told they didn't have that information. It wasn't written down anywhere. It's not on an advertisement sticker for customers. They simply didn't have it. I've utilized Autozone for YEARS but thanks to this experience, it will be the last time.

The vehicle inventory can be viewed on the Pick-n-Pull website. For each vehicle, the website…read moreshows the vehicle photo, date vehicle arrived in the yard, details (year, make, model, trim, color, engine, transmission, VIN), and location in the yard. The website shows a map of the yard. Vehicle inventory changes daily. Most vehicles remain in the yard for only one to three months, so take this into consideration if you find a vehicle or part that you want, because it may become a missed opportunity if the purchase is not made soon enough. The Pick-n-Pull website shows prices on common parts and core deposits on applicable parts. A core refers to a used part that is still capable of being remanufactured or recycled for its materials. Return your core within 30 days of purchase to receive your core deposit. Prior to going to the yard, you can contact them with questions about inventory and prices. It is generally possible to negotiate prices at salvage yards, especially for vehicles, larger parts, or multiple parts. If a competitor has a lower price, then mention this during negotiation. The Pick-n-Pull website states that they offer competitive, fixed prices to eliminate the stress of negotiating, but this applies more to readily available, standard parts. For less common parts or multiple parts, negotiation is often possible. The Pick-n-Pull website states, "Purchasing parts at Pick-n-Pull is worry-free due to our 30-Day Free Exchange policy on all parts. If a part breaks or doesn't fit, the customer can bring it back and pull another." "Parts Sales (excluding tires): If you are not 100% satisfied, you can return the part(s) to the original Pick-n-Pull location where the part(s) were purchased, within 30 days of the original purchase date, with the original receipt." "With Pick-n-Pull's 12-Month WarrantyPLUS, you can now purchase an additional 12 months of warranty when you buy your car/van/truck parts from us. 12-Month WarrantyPLUS protects your auto part for a full 12 months beyond the FREE 30-Day Exchange period." The website lists parts eligible for WarrantyPLUS. Star Auto Glass is next to Pick-n-Pull. You can have salvaged auto glass from Pick-n-Pull installed at Star Auto Glass.
