As part of my deciding which battery to buy, David explained my car required an electronic reset using specialized equipment not available from O'Reilly's. I have a mechanic friend, so I bought the battery. David retrieved the battery and placed it in the trunk of my car. I closed the lid. With my dead battery still installed my car wouldn't start. Neither of O'Reilly's battery chargers would start my car, and now my still installed battery is so dead my faub won't open the car trunk. My story is too long to continue. Just know that David made the extra efforts required to access my new battery from the car trunk and use it to jump start the car. They don't have what they say they do online. You pay, then they return your money after five to 7…read moredays. Their manager will come to the store in thirty minutes to explain in person or fight you, not sure which. I had to go try to find the parts elsewhere.

I asked if they would put it in for me and she said "No." I was thinking for the price I could go to the dealership, and get them to install it, so I left and will probably not return. The parts seemed pricy, (I know it depends on your vehicle) but for the price you could go else where, especially when they won't install the part and the service was just ok.

We walked in on a Saturday and we're looking for an adaptor for a compression tester to fit on the block of my oversized spark plugs in an older vehicle I am working on. When he first saw the spark plug he jumped back and said "that is a monster! I got to take a picture of that, may I? Then he stayed with us and took us to where the stuff we wanted was located so we didn't wander around the store. To top it all off he took my name and number to call the vendors and find out if any of them carries an adaptor like the one I need. Low and behold he called me on Monday to let me know that they don't have anything like that. Just want to say that he either owns that store or if he doesn't the owner should take note that there is someone dedicated to make that business flourish. Without ANY authorization or clear communication, I was later presented with a bill for $2,850!!! When questioned about the charges and asked for an explanation, the owner became unprofessional and confrontational instead of addressing my concerns. We were told it was a $80 part & $350 weld fee and the rest was labor! Rather than working toward a reasonable resolution, he insisted that the full amount be paid and made comments that I perceived as threatening, which made the situation even more stressful. By law, customers deserve clear estimates, transparent communication, and authorization BEFORE significant work or charges are incurred. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I would STRONGLY encourage anyone considering this business to get every estimate and authorization in writing before leaving their vehicle. Based on our experience, I cannot in good faith recommend this business.
