I bought wiper blades a couple of days ago and tried to put the passenger side on today but the clip on the wiper was the wrong size. Terrible business, the closing manager David closed the store 10 minutes before closing time. We bought a bad A/C Pro Ac recharge here earlier and needed to exchange it for a bottle that worked. David told us that the floor cleaners were in there so they closed the store earlier than at regular closing time. Bad service, you don't close the store before closing time. Plus David was rude he was laughing when he told us that the store was closed early today due to cleaning. read more

Absolute MORONS! I asked my wife to pick up a Dorman Steering Colunm-Shift Tube Damper part # 905-095, an $11 part. My wife showed the parts chimp an image in her phone with the Dorman name, description and part number for the Dorman product and the parts chimp insisted that Dorman part number turned up an air conditioning pump within the Autozone system ... clearly another exposure of low brow employees at Autozone managing the parts database accuracy and reliability. So the low brow parts chimp in his infinite wisdom decided to ad-lib and pulled Dorman part # 905-102 Steering Shift Tube, a $50 part and assured my wife that this was the same part as part #905-095. I went to recharge my battery for my Honda Civic 2019. A "manager" named Amoc recharged the battery to full capacity. We attempted to start my car and it wouldn't turn on at all; completely fried, even after the fact of recharging the battery to 100%. Obviously this made no sense but he started bringing out other options like the alternator and starter being broken; he suggested I needed a new alternator/ starter, which caused me to panic. He started showing me prices in the store for the alternator also. Then, a suggestion to get my car towed; essentially having to pay a large sum to fix this unknown problem that he started. Thankfully, my family knows a very trustworthy mechanic and he checked my car, ran a diagnosis, and seen that Amoc, an AutoZone manager, wrongfully reinstalled the wires into the battery. Rather than having 2 wires on the battery, he connected it wrong and with an easy fix, the REAL and TRUSTWORTHY mechanic fixed it with a simple reconnection of the wires. My car was able to run just fine after this. No need for a new alternator, starter, battery, or towing of my car like Amoc suggested. During his time of recharging my battery, he explained to me how this store was experiencing bad reviews. Amoc was kind but obviously lacked in general mechanic knowledge. He didn't seem to think it was a wiring problem but went straight to blaming it on the alternator/ starter. At the time I didn't see the reason why because he charged my battery, but we can see that he is inexperienced of his ability to do his job. If AutoZone is known to give free recharging of batteries, you would think they would know how to do it as a routine process. I guess not. This place sucks! Very untrustworthy and misleading. read more

Nothing really special about this AZ they have the basics just like every other AZ. This AZ has been here for a long time so that's good but O'reilly's is way down the street so AZ doesn't really have any competition in the Red Hawk area. I really don't have a lot of complaints about this location but it is tucked away a little bit. The prices are decent not the best compared to Walmart but it is what it is. read more

I remembered you checked batteries for free. Edward who is one of the shift managers looked at it and confirmed it was dead. This is in regards to store #5582 located 31837 S. Hwy 79 #A, Temecula CA.  I recieved my notice to pick up an order I made online.  I proceeded to the store, I informed Mr. Xxx at the counter that I am here to pick up my order, I showed him my phone, and he went to pick up my order.  Unfortunately things went south from here.  Mr. Xxx very dramatically and loudly says my name....- what kind of name is that???  Seems racist to me, or, maybe he's bored at work.  Is there a good reason Autozone customer facing staff treats their customers so rudely??    I responded Mr. Xxx, that is my name yes, he responded, well you did not pronounce MY NAME correctly.   I know good customer service skills when I see them, unfortunately Mr. Xxx does not possess these.  I really hope he is not a manager because all of his employees under him are watching and learning.    Please tell me this is not how staff are trained to treat customers??  I will never be using this location again, life is too short for this.
