Bought BF GOODRICH tires in San Jacinto yesterday because Temecula didn't have 4 of them. I arrived at approx 10 am to have Temecula Walmart Automotive install them. After pulling up Noa was quick in greeting me, getting all my info and told me approx 90 mins to get them installed. It took just a tad longer...but I went shopping inside too. Overpriced and sloppy job. Lisa at the front was an absolute doll, BUT Cail did my car and for ONE he wrote down that my lights were good... but I told Lisa that I had one of my lights out. So not only was my report inaccurate-- but they straight up lied about my cars review. What was WORSE was that when I got to my car, it wasn't locked when I went to pick it up. And on TOP is that, there were GREASE stains all over my steering wheel and gear shift and e brake. Absolutely disgusting. There was no care involved... and overall such an upsetting price to pay when down the street Rancho Car Wash does the same service for similar prices AND they include a free car wash and air freshener. The people at Walmart were not friendly at all (except Lisa). But everyone at rancho is nice. Horrible, I never recommend this place to anyone if you care about your car. After changing engine oil in my car, they called me to pick it up. I raised the hood to check everything is ok. The Oil had been splashed everywhere and windshield. I asked the manager what it is going on here. The guy who had changed the oil, turned on the car and he moved the car a bit forward while leaving the engine cap opened and had drained the oil and no oil in it. This is totally unprofessional way to turn the car on while no oil in it. It's already damaged critical components inside the engine and cause problems later on. This was our first visit to a Walmart Auto Care Center. Our daughter recommended we go here for an oil change and tire rotation. Their price for a synthetic oil change is insanely cheap compared to other locations in Temecula. In fact the price for oil change and tire rotation was only $75. That is the price quoted by most for just a synthetic blend oil change without tire rotation. We arrived on a Monday morning, not anyone in line and was told it would take 2 hours because everyone was going to lunch (this was 10:30 AM). No biggie, I had my wife follow so we would just return home and wait for the call. We received the call 90 minutes later and headed to the shop. I asked one lady at a computer if I pay her and she acted pretty annoyed and directed me to another lady that was helping a customer at another computer. I proceed with checkout and payment and am told that we might need some coolant. I ask why the mechanic did not top it off and was told their people are not mechanics and won't do that. I am told that Walmart won't and can't check most fluids because their people are only technicians and therefore it would be a liability. WTF. This is Walmart! Shit they advertise they do almost all work in their center. The other reason for the 3 stars is their lack of care in cleanliness. There was grease on my outside door and my steering wheel. In fact the inside of my car smelled of grease. For this visit Walmart Auto Not-Care Center gets 3 stars. Price is what bumps them up. read more

After noticing one of my tires was extremely worn out, to the point where wires were showing, Walmart was one of the few places open on a Sunday. Noah took care of us right away! He is definitely one of the best! After greeting us he took charge and knew exactly what size tire I needed. I got four brand new tires and I was out of the store within an hour. Price was great as well. But what really made the good experience possible was Noah. He has such great customer service skills and knows his stuff. I was willing to come another day but the guy with the black and white bandana just went straight to fixing my car. Been coming to get my oil change there for years 5 or so years ago my mom got a gold ford escape it was new but not a new model it drove fine, eventually the oil light comes on and we take it to this walmart for a oil change, just like we do for the rest of our cars, get it done everything went smooth we were done in like an hour or so no big deal. a couple months later the car starts smoking and unfortunately we can't afford to look into it right away, months go by oil light comes on, we go to walmart get an oil change, few months later notice smoke is getting worse, still can't afford to look into it, we got 5 oil changes at walmart before we realized that walmart has been over filling it with oil past it's compacity because their book says that engine takes x amount of liters of oil but on the engine itself on there it says to put 1.5 liters less than what they were putting we took it back they did and an oil change but did it again and we explained to them put what the engine says to put not what your book says, we got the oil 3 change 3 different times after we told them stop going by the book, finally your manager says take it to the dealer and we will take care of the bill we take it to the dealer call the manager of that auto place and he's busy....2hours go by still busy....we had to reschedule with the dealer and the dealer mentions its roughly $15,000 to fix and the manager at Walmart's is now saying "i don't think us overfilling it would cause that damage anyway it's not our fault" even after we told you to put the correct amount you refused to do it you caused damage to our brand new vehicle and you admitted it was your fault now your backpedaling not like its coming out of your pocket Wal-Mart is a billion dollar company they have insurance for when employees mess up. I would know I use to work there and I gotta say between the racism I faced from the older woman greeter she use to call me a dirty Mexican and she would constantly accuse me of stealing because I had a backpack and I'd be in uniform, there isn't a private employee entrance we go through the front doors like everyone else excuse me for bringing a backpack with my sweater and lunch in it, she still works there and when she sees me she asks if I have my papers when I was born here, bottom line they have a crazy Karen greeter and a shady manager who admits his faults promises the company will take care of it and doesn't follow through. We went to the Murrieta Walmart Auto Care Center to get a new car battery. They did not have our model in stock. However, when we got it from the Temecula store, Steve allowed us to return to Murrieta since Temecula could not install it. Steve even jumped our car when it would not start thus allowing us to go on our way to get the new battery. He was very kind and helpful. Installation was free. read more

Got an oil change here. Couldn't even put the skid plate back on. Heard a scraping when driving.came back. They fixed it. Checked it in the parking lot and my car was missing bolts. I called them out and they said the bolts were missing when I came in. The mechanic we're upset and said they will not give me bolts. Talked to a manager and they made them fix it. Check once more when I was home and the skid plate was dented. And the bolts weren't even tightened after 3 Times. read more

I don't know why they aren't getting a 5 Star across. I've been getting an awesome customer service for my tires and oil change need. I brought my car yesterday to have one of the tire check for a small leak. I picked the car up and they didn't charge anything because they couldn't find anything wrong with it. They took the tire off and inspected it and did all necessary to make sure and still couldn't find anything. For all they did and no charge? That counts for a 4 stars already. Plus another star for a good phone customer service and the front counter people when I picked up the car. Thank you for making temecula a better place to live. NEVER GO TO WALMART!!!! This has been by far the worst experience i have had anywhere. Please read my full review to understand why you should never go to Walmart. From the beginning... where do I start? Upon delivering my car to get a simple $35 oil change they tell me it's going to be an hour and 1/2 because they are understaffed. (Not a big deal) So me and my fiancé go waste time elsewhere. We come back 2 hours later and they tell us, "we have a problem, we lost your key to your car". (We don't have a spare) Walmart NEVER contacted us to inform that they lost our key. So they continue to look and look and look. Another hour passes, the staff was very rude. An auto technician by the name of JR walks in/past us laughing "they lost your key, I don't know what he did with it haha" We turn around baffled replying "do you think this is funny your co-workers lost our f*cking car key?" JR replies "don't fucking talk to me like that". Customer service is non-existent at Walmart. After a ridiculous amount of time we get to speak with the store General Manager Nathan. He was very polite and tells us this oil change is on us and we will give you a $50 gift card and we have a locksmith coming down in 15 minutes. They also informed us that this is a reoccurring problem with lost keys and broken door locks. WHAT!!! THIS IS A REOCCURRING ISSUE????? Another 30-40 minutes pass and still no key and no locksmith. After the lock smith arrives we wait and wait for him to make a new key. We dropped our car off at 11:30 am. At 3:20pm we finally get a new key and they tell us. "If you want we can do your oil change now" ARE YOU KIDDING ME? MY OIL STILL HAD NOT BEEN CHANGED. We told them there is no way we are having any business though their company ever again. Nor do we want them to change our oil after waiting 4 hours for a simple $35 oil change that should take 30-45 minutes max. read more

My tires were on their last tread and needed to get all of them replaced. I called in and was quoted for a higher price than what I paid (which I'm not complaining about at all!). The customer service from the beginning to the end was phenomenal and the workers were all kind and generous. I dropped the car off for an oil change, expecting to pay a certain price. My wife picked it up and the charge was for $10 more. I didn't see the receipt until this morning so I called them to inquire why I was charged more. I was told that because they don't carry my filter in the "bay" they had to grab one off the shelf. I told the supervisor that I would expect a call to let me know this, not just a call saying my service was completed. All he said was "sorry I wasn't here yesterday." I took it there because the price was right, but instead I could have changed the oil myself for less than what I paid them to do it. Big business can't even throw me a bone. They get three stars because they are the cheapest oil change in town and some of the staff are really good( there is a younger lady with short hair there who knew her stuff). However some of the staff are so so at best. I was a certified mechanic. I been there twice. Once when the lady was there and they did a good job. Although they didn't carry my filter so I had to run to autozone but they installed it and gave me a discount. You can't expect them to stock every filter and that particular suv is a pia tho change. The other time was a long wait. They changed my oil and checked my fluids. When I got in my truck I noticed a slight whine from my power steering pump. Looked under the hood and they definitely didn't check the ps fluid even though they checked it off in inspection sheet. I had to walk back in and buy a bottle off the shelf and fill it myself. Wasn't worth complaining and waiting for them to do it so I just checked my own fluids. Long story short is I would go there for the price(way better than changing your own oil)but don't expect a thorough job. You get what you pay for. If your inexperienced with cars I might recommend somewhere else But if your like me and you don't want the hassle of changing your own I would still go there....it's cheap. Just be prepared to double check the work. Like I said they have a few good staff member I don't want to badmouth everyone but some not so great. They need a little more training. read more

Took my 2019 Mazda CX five to the auto center to get a oil change as I've been to several different Walmarts before to get oil changes and I've never had any issues. within a month and a half of getting my oil changed my oil light came on so I took it to the dealership come to find out that the screw to the oil pan for the vehicle which is a very important screw was completely loose and that's not something that just happens from driving one of the managers from the service department came up to us and explain to me that it was not tightened from my previous oil change my oil had been leaking over a month and a half paid $75 for that?! I'll be sure to get my money back and if they refuse I will be seeking legal action as I have this all documented including photos from my dealership. Lesson learned never take your car to Walmart for an oil change as they're lazy and don't do their jobs properly. DO NOT EVER COME HERE! Worst experience I have ever had in my life, came in around 11:30am to get a simple oil change, the team member told me it would be about an hour and a half waiting time because they were understaffed, I came back roughly around 1pm to give them even extra time. Only to find out that they had lost my keys! They never called to inform me or anything! The auto service manager Shannon was extremely rude to me about it. After dealing with her I asked to speak to the general store manager, after waiting 15 minutes for him to come to the auto center he explained to me that this is a reoccurring thing and that they deal with lost keys a lot and even broken locks on doors. Another hour goes by and they still can't find it so they have a locksmith drive out to the Walmart auto service location on Temecula parkway and it takes him roughly 30 minutes to arrive, after he arrives it takes another 30 minutes for him to make the key, so now it's 3:30pm and I still haven't left. Once the key is made the very rude woman Shannon comes in and says "so are we doing your oil change or what" I responded "you didn't even complete the oil change?!" So not only did I sit there for 4 hours, had to call out of work, had to deal with them losing me key, extremely rude employees and managers, they didn't even do the oil change. I am baffled by the indecency they gave me and the amount of stress it put into my day, I will never be coming back here and I do not recommend that anyone else does. I've been here a few times for an oil change, fixing a flat tire and just recently buying new tires. I think everyone is really friendly and never had any issues and until we bought tires during a black Friday deal and came back the next day to get them installed. Turns out the young guy who was new ordered the wrong tires so we had to return a few more times to try to rectify the situation. What seemed like a great deal ended up being a headache as we had to wait to get the correct tires delivered to the store. They told us they would call us when the correct tires came in.However, no one ever did resulting in us going to the store multiple times just to speak with anyone in person to get this resolved. It was so frustrating telling the same story over and over again. Thankfully Noah went above and beyond to get us the correct tires and put them aside for us until we could make it in.
