I wish I could give this 0 stars. The manager there (O'neal) is terrible. I rented a $100 tool and was told I didn't need to bring back my receipt because it was under my warranty history and that they would return it that way. I brought the tool back a couple weeks later and they couldn't find the tool in my warranty file and said I wasn't able to return it and that I was unable to get my $100 back. Don't buy a battery from this place. Spent a lot of money on a duralast battery with a 5 year warranty. Dies 2 years later and now they claim they can't find it in their system. Offered to take it as the core charge, what a scam. Much better auto parts stores out there, never going to this one again. read more

I purchased wipers for my daughters car. I found one of them was missing the necessary parts to complete the installation. I called and they said "we are closing in five minutes. " I explained the situation and told manager , I was on my way. I called from the intersection 200 feet from their door and told them I would be pulling in shortly. I pulled up, the manager stepped outside saw me smiled locked the door and got in his car and left. It would have taken two minutes to swap the wipers. Instead he made the choice to send me to a competitor. I will be shopping at O Reilly auto parts from now on. This Autozone doesn't care about customer service nor do they want to be our neighborhood auto parts destination. read more

I went into this location on Sat Feb 8 to purchase a cabin air filter for my BMW and they did not have it in stock. They told me I could pay for them, it requires two, and they would be in Sunday or Monday. They told me they would call me to let me know they were in. On Thursday the 13th, after no hearing back from them I called. They said they had one in stock, due to my frustration with the person on the phone he turned me over to his manager. The manager said they had one in stock, and then said they had two. I proceeded to the store to pick them up, to find they only had one. They went looking for the second one, to no avail. Upon further inspection I found that the box comes with two in it, this is when things went from bad to worse. Luke, the Sales Manager tried to convince me that the Hub must have taken two units and put them in one box. I told him I was not believing that for one second. I had paid for two units and despite all efforts Luke could not find any info that proved that only one comes in a box. I told him he could refund the one and I would keep the box with two in it. He refused and kept trying to tell me they had custom packaged it that way for this sale. After much debate I got frustrated and told them I wanted a refund for both units and I would shop elsewhere for my car restoration projects. He gave me a refund and was happy not having me as a customer. I thought to myself, I am not sure the District or Regional manager would be happy about this, so as I walked out I took down the number for the Regional manager off the front window. I have made three attempts to contact the regional manager and have not so much as received a return phone call. Clearly AutoZone thinks people can live without them. Meanwhile RockAuto saved the day and sent me two better cabin air filters for the same price and I received them just as promised. Maybe AutoZone stores will fall to the internet, but I am certain the one on Chandler Heights and Gilbert will at this rate. www.rockauto.com a better way to buy auto parts. read more

Never will I give this place my business again. Car battery died which they would NOT replace because I didn't know the original owners number (bought car 1 month ago) even though still under warranty which they DO have record of and show so had to shell out $110 for another battery. One week ago I bought a headlight cleaning kit and before buying it I asked the store "helper" if it really worked and he said yes. Product did NOT work on first headlight so did not waste my time doing the second. They say they accept returns on defected products which this was and the manager would NOT accept this return because product was "opened"! The time before that I asked the "helper" which grease I would need for a product and he referred the wrong one which didn't work. Took back which they did but only after putting up a stink. I have had good experiences with OTHER auto zones but NOT THIS ONE. The manager is VERY RUDE and the "helpers" do NOT know what they are talking about. read more

Needed a PCV valve for a Taurus. Called closest AutoZone which was 30 minutes away. Was told they had one in stock. I gave them my name and told them to hold it. I was on my way, be there in 30 minutes. Drove the 30 minutes, went in and they couldn't find it. Guy admitted he talked to me but he didn't set the part out. They went to the back to look for it. Couldn't find it. Came back and said sorry we don't have one. The guys that worked in there were not friendly either! Ended up going to Advanced Auto and got the part I needed, and the guy was friendly! Won't be back to AutoZone. Only gave 1 star because it wouldn't let me give no stars. read more

Have gone to this location twice and each time the manager or lead man at night. Made it seem like it was a hassle to look up my warranty information. So I bought the part any ways and the next morning went to the location on McQueen and Pecos and actually found my warranty and gave me a full refund. Will never go there again. read more

I have used Auto Zone as my parts store for several years and have always had excellent customer service in Idaho which is where I use to live. I recently located to this area for work and tried this location out today because I needed to get a front light switched out. The guy looked under my hood, said it would take up too much of his time, and sent me on my way. I have never had an issue with them replacing lights for me before. Auto Zone usually has great service, but this location is an outlier. Very disappointed and will never return. read more
