I asked if they had an air compressor for tires to use in store and his response was "are you kidding this is a store not a gas station" then he proceeded to ask my friend where she got her gift card like she stole it or something. Such a helpful autozone. I was having issues with my battery. I came in and they checked the battery, told.me I needed a new one and easily installed. So noce and helpful. Also, girl power. The kia dealership in covina was not helpful at all, I called to see if my battery was under warranty and she told me up to 12k miles which is not true, I had to google the correct mileage myself. I have had many experiences at car parts stores and some better than others. My thanks goes to Monica for going above and beyond, I purchased headlights (we all know all sales final on electrical things etc..) but Monica took the time to hear me out, she came outside, Glover up and actually helped me trouble shoot the issues, she is knowledgeable and a great asset to her team, first and foremost to the customer.. we ended up finding out the bulb was defective, understandably I know the policy on these purchases.. A couple of weeks ago I went into this store because the battery in my car died. I had purchased it last year and my older battery had a 2020 sticker on it. The staff was not able to find the sale in their computer system. I had informed Raul the parts manager working at the time. He remarked that he had heard me the first 2 times! To a paying customer this is extremely rude. The staff who works do not care and since I will take my business to O' Reilly Auto Parts. I have been coming to this location since 2004. I picked up a fuel pressure regulator for my truck and Sean took his time to check my truck out and see if I needed any additional tools or parts. He identified the part I purchase was incorrect and his team went ahead called another store and offered to pick that up for me because my truck was non operable. This morning, I went to this location to exchange two oil filters which I purchased at another auto zone. Long story short , I was initially given the wrong filters and needed to simply exchange them. I had the receipt and everything. I was informed by the rude female "manager" that due to this being an inventory issue , I would have to go to the autozone where I purchased the filters. I didn't appreciated the passive aggressiveness from the poor excuse of a manager. He demeanor and attitude was terrible. Save yourself the hassle of this terrible location and drive 5 minutes east on arrow highway to the Autozone off of the 57 fwy. Much better service there. Seems like there is a pattern from other yelpers regarding this manager. I doubt she can effectively manage a sealed box of crayons. read more

After a late night at the gym, I was on my merry way home. All of a sudden, I see a blue siren going off behind me. It was midnight, for goodness' sake! Plus, since my purse was recently stolen, I was without a driver's license. Things just get better and better. The officer explained that he pulled me over because my left headlight was out. Gosh, when did that happen? I gave the cop my sob story and luckily, he was cool with the situation. I was given nothing but a fix-it ticket. The following night after work, I made the attempt to take care of it. I had heard before that Auto Zone does installments. I asked my friend and he confirmed. I was glad to hear it. There is no way in hell that I would know the first thing about changing the bulb on a car. Heck, I had never even been to Auto Zone before. I was about to lose my virginity. When I walked in, the two workers behind the counter were busy with two other customers. The place seemed kinda small but since I had never been to one, I had nothing to compare it to. I didn't recognize anything in the store. I went straight to the back of the line. At my turn, I let the guy behind the counter know what I was there for. He asked for information on my car to look up exactly what I needed. Then he says, "You need a 9003 series. Its on aisle 4," then walks away to help the next customer. Uhhhhh excuse me, sir??? Did he just really leave? Does he not know I've never been to this store in my life? I attempted to find the damn thing myself. I looked up to check the aisle numbers and guess what? There weren't any! Well not any not that I noticed anyway. I proceeded to walk down some random aisle while feeling like a little girl that had just lost her parents in the store. I had never felt so lost in my life. Somehow, I stumbled upon the aisle with light bulbs. Thank goodness! Now, did he say 9003 or 8003? Crap. 9003 it is. I took the bulb up to the counter to confirm it was the right one, and it was. He rang me up without saying a word. I asked if they could install it for me and his answer was a plain and simple NO. Just like that, huh? A minute later, he explains that they would have done it if it was earlier and more workers were there. I didn't say a word, grabbed my receipt, and walked out. I think they need to work on providing better customer service. read more

The store manager, I believe her name is Monica... Well she is absolutely amazing. She approached me with a greeting as I was very lost in an auto parts store. I told her my problem and she walked all the way out to my car to investigate the issue. She diagnosed it within minutes and I went back inside and she explained all the parts. She was just super welcoming and willing to help. I purchased all the parts and she put on gloves herself and proceeded to fix the problem. You don't understand how uncomfortable it is for an uneducated car person to be treated so great because if the parts were just given to me I'd have no idea how to put them on! I just read the only other review that this location has and I'm blown away. I've had nothing but amazing interactions with the staff at this Autozone. I literally live a quarter mile from the one on Citrus and Arrow and I go out of my way to the one off of Valley Center. I just went today and the guy went out of his way to help install a new head light bulb. I've referred multiple family members to this location because of the customer service. I'd strongly recommend visiting this place and giving them a shot. read more

I'm a 54 year old guy who worked in the automotive parts retail sector....so l understand both sides of the counter....this store just moved over by arrow/57 freeway...beautiful new store twice the size of the old one...unfortunately with a new crew too. I bought brakes for my car and the ones they gave me were incorrect....took them back and waited 40 mins for them to get correct ones from other store...next day went back for rotors...did my homework the night before and found local manufacturer local at $78 a pair ( autozone 54 ea) Now the guy remembers me from day before and goes way out of his way to find reason to decline to match ....tried to tell me 20-30 min drive not local. Do yourself a favor go down to oriellys or if you must use auto zone go to diamond bar they want your business there.... THIS is why brick & mortar is failing read more

Unbelievable. So they have a big sign in the front window of how they recycle old oils. This is a great selling tool as it shows they are good for the environment. Since they sell the fluids it is only fair that they help dispose of them. I took 1/2 of used gear oil (which is listed on the sign) to drop off for recycling. I put the old fluid in a rinsed out gallon milk container for transportation. I place it on the counter and ask to recycle it. They promptly tilt the container to the side and say they can't take it because it is contaminated with milk. Really? It is a specifically used this container as you can see through it. They suggested taking to Jiffy lube down the street and they may take it. I drive one block to an O'Riely's. They took care of with no questions and thanked me for stopping by. Can I give zero stars? I called in the morning and they asked if I had rear drums or rotors. I said I'm not sure. They were rude at this point, like I was an idiot woman. I came in to buy the parts with the vehicle and VIN. No one asked if I had rear discs or rotors. I WAS BUYING FRONT BRAKE PARTS. Then the moron at the counter sold me only one rotor. I had to walk almost a mile down the street in 100 degree weather to get the other rotor. I was angry! I never once heard "im sorry" not even from the manager. read more
