Every shop is closed as luck would have it, except for an NTB on Central that had a line out the door, so I got my car jumped and drove it to my trusted O'Reilly's. The nice feller working there tested my battery first, confirmed that it was indeed bad (and not something else), changed out the old one and put in a new one. Only $100 and 20 minutes later, I was through with this ordeal. That's the way you do it! Quickly, efficiently, no chitter chatter about how I need this or need that.

I reported the issue and requested that it be looked into, including reviewing any available security footage, but I have not seen any real effort to resolve the situation or recover the missing item. Overall, this experience was disappointing due to the lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability. I would be cautious about using this service department in the future.

Next tire went bad at 140000 miles. Good Year said they believe it's a bad king pin. Take it to Rush Peterbilt and they charge me 1500 to tell me king pin is in specs. So at 185000 miles and another bad steering tire, someone recommended this place. They told me it was a tire rod end. Seems like Peterbilt could have diagnosed that. But then it would have been covered under warranty. Quoted 450 to change both. When I picked it up , the bill was less than 390. And this thing is steering like a dream. These guys are more than awesome. They have my business for everything now.
