We were driving in the rain and my partners windshield wipers were not doing the trick. We stopped by and picked up the wipers we needed, but even with YouTube videos we couldn't figure out how to install them (they were stubborn), and that's when Kamal came in and helped. I had the unfortunate experience of being treated terribly by Kent, a manager at AutoZone. His rudeness and complete lack of hospitality were shocking. As someone in a management position, it's disappointing to see such poor behavior, especially when customer service is a key part of the job. Being rude and unhelpful is not acceptable in any role, but it's especially concerning when it's coming from someone in charge. Management should set an example for the team, but Kent's attitude was far from professional. People like this should not be in management, let alone customer service roles. I won't be returning. It was a quiet night and I went in with my son who is newly disabled - amputee using a cane with prosthesis. He needed a turn signal bulb for his rear right light. We bought a few other things spending about $60 and staff was generally helpful. I asked if someone could maybe help us with the bulb but was told "sorry there's only 2 of us here". There was not one other customer in the store. As his mom I wished I could help him make his new used car legal but I couldn't and I was flying home the next morning. Excellent customer service by Maxwell! I had a headlight out and he came out to my car and determined that it was actually a burned out high beam bulb. The correct replacement bulb was in stock and he installed it for me, no extra charge. Let me tell you, it's a pain in the butt switching out headlight bulbs in a Toyota hybrid. But, Maxwell was persistent and now I'm good to go. I'll definitely be returning to this AutoZone. read more

These guys are so inconsiderate, I call so they put some lug nuts aside, show up 20 minutes later and They can't find it! This teenage boy has to look up my car to find what size I need *major sigh of annoyance from him* he proceeds to look it up and grabs the size too small on accident, I get it whatever accidents happen. I rushed home found this out and rushed back since my mechanic was at my house taking care of a few other cars. Walk in it's the same kid from 30 minutes ago and he just stares at me. I walk up like.... uh these don't fit bro. And he started yelling at me while doing his best to contain his anger his hands were shaking and he said he has no idea what I'm talking about as if I had picked them out myself and it's not his problem. My anxiety starts hitting a little because instead of being normal and grabbing the correct size higher he just asks me what I want to do in a disgusted tone. The entire time he had his middle finger laying on the mouse blatantly infront of my face. At this point I'm confused because I had also called another auto-zone to have them cancel the same part for me because this one was closer so I assume somewhere I made a mistake and start to feel pretty stressed, then I realize.... of course he picked them out for me he asked the make model of car lol! He messed up and was so angry with his fists curled up about it so I asked... didn't you pick these out for me? I kid you not he stared me in the face and said no grinding his teeth with his fists clenched and ran off to the back leaving me there standing in awe: Well guess what his manager found the lug nuts they had put aside for me, I mention to him his employee was making me think I was going crazy which isn't right because you never know what kind of day someone's having especially in these times people have short fuses and I treated him with absolute respect when inside I'm thinking I should just berate the kid for wasting my time and that his whole cool guy attitude and anger issues combined it's obvious he's trying way too hard when maybe he should just pay attention to his job. The manager said he'd talk to him about it and i could tell it's just how the kid is and what can ya do besides order your own part online and pickup in store! But wait there's more! I rush home since my mechanic is there and I'm excited to get these puppies on, then I realize they put aside matte black instead of gloss black. I take a deep breath and call back to make sure they have these dang things in matte black like I have specified on the phone the first time and in the store when I came in the first time and I swear it's the same boy who answered acting like he has no idea who the guy who just came in twice for the same thing in 30 minutes rushing and just ratted him out to his manager! The boy literally starts to troll me and puts me on a 20 minute hold, then looks up the car and acts like they don't even carry them for my car at all. I told him his manager had showed me the screen earlier and he hung up on me. The employees at this location have no idea what they're doing and will lie about any and everything. read more

Had to get wiper blades for a 2001 Chrysler Sebring, fortunately, this place had them and I had them put on hold. I went in to purchase them and told Bronson that I was having trouble getting the old blades removed and would he be willing to help me. Without hesitation he said "sure." The wipers were the original ones and a bit stubborn coming off but Bronson managed to get them both changed out. Supe nice guy and happy that the blades were in stock. read more

There are about 3 auto parts stores in my area. The closest is a local mom and pop type place, autozone and oreillys one exit south. Both of my cars usually require special order or dealer order for parts so I have a realistic expectation when going for necessities. On many occasions recently I have been lucky to have these guys close. They got me out of a bind fixing my father-in-laws truck and one of my friends brakes. I know it's important to support local business but sometimes you need the mainstream chains with inventory! It's awesome that this place is just a couple of miles away as it makes it super easy to get what I need and get back to work quickly! My only complaint is the parking lot and shopping center are terrible. The drive entrance is not low car friendly so enter and exit with caution or find another way. My BMW 328i not lowered but still scrubs on the bottom. read more

I have been to a lot of autozones and recived some excellent service. These guys sold me the wrong wildshield wipers than was ignored and hassled when I returned for a refund. Manager than refused to provide a refund but offered store credit if I showed him my ID. These guys are really scrapping the bottom of the barrel when I comes to hiring help. Many other options in town when it comes to auto parts, I suggest those. read more

Great location with knowledgeable staff ! I've been here about five times over the past two years. It's a pretty standard autozone location - nothing super flashy and smells like rubber and car parts ! That said, the store always seems well stocked and there is always plenty of staff available to answer questions and look up parts on the computers. Convenient location near Costco. Also convenient because it's very close to the Valvoline drive thru oil change (which is a great one) so anytime I'm down the road getting an oil change and they recommend a new engine filter , air filter, or some other simple switch - I just head over to Autozone and pick up the part for a fraction of the price and change it out myself ! I know I would forget if I didn't do it right away. read more

The rudest customer service, i came in to get some torque converter bolts and i didn't care what the brand says i just needed them because i knew they fit. Neo was the first to help us, he didn't even know how to spell torque so he couldn't find the torque converter bolts until i showed him a screenshot of the actual part on the autozone website. He directed me down the isle to the bolts and when we got to the register my gf's dad had pointed out that it was gm and he didn't know if it would fit but i said i'd rather get them then chance not getting them. But he kept pointing out it said gm. Neo didn't ring me up and kept giving me attitude and saying snarky stuff like "if it doesn't fit then don't get it" or mocking us with sarcasm saying "yea i'd go with common knowledge, it says gm so it definitely only fits gm." Kept calling me a little punk when i told him i wasn't liking his attitude. He was downright weird and only acknowledged my girlfriend which was weird because he didn't stop talking to her last time. pervert read more

My car had been sitting at work over the weekend because its battery was dead. I bought a new one and grabbed my tools to swap it out. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to bring an extension, and I found I couldn't remove the battery mounting block because I didn't have the damned extension. I had never been to the AutoZone in Dana Point, but I hoped I could buy a single extension. So I asked one of the store employees, Carlos J., if they sold the extension. He said they'd be glad to loan me one, went back in the stockroom behind the counter, and returned with what I needed. I asked him if he needed my name or anything and he replied nope. I thanked him profusely, and was able to swap out the battery. I returned the extension a few hours later, thanked him again, and bought a couple of things I needed to show my appreciation. While a great addition to our community this new store doesn't quite have their act together yet. Their quality control internal control is lacking. Things are disorganized and there appears to be a lack of communication between employees I ordered brakes to be delivered the next day from another store because they didn't have them in stock. They were supposed to call me they didn't I went to pick them up and they had given them to another customer because his order and my order were sitting on the counter together. Seems to me they should have checked what they were handing out. read more

Bought a brand new $136 battery there in July, went back in January because the battery had failed. They said the battery only has a 90 day warranty. Who has ever heard of a car/motorcycle or boat battery only having a 90 day warranty? You get longer than that on electronics. They have lost me as a customer. read more
