Called to check if a part was in stock. Was told no. Came in right after and they had it. Got wrong info over the phone.

Absolutely the rudest employees I've ever seen at an autozone, they were being just downright mean to other customers as well acting like we don't know what we're looking for when I had to repeat the part number 4 times just for this dumb manager to type it in right, it was literally 2 letters and 3 numbers and she acted like I was stupid cause she couldn't remember 5 numbers and letters in concession. Then the guy right next to me was told to "finish his sentence" like a child because the dumb girl at the counter didn't know what part he was looking for even though he very clearly explained it and she misunderstood. There's more competent employees at a McDonald's on Cleveland avenue than this store. read more

I hate all things cars. My brain just doesn't work around the mechanics, connecting the pieces, the wires, the nuts and bolts. I hate dealing with some car guys because they treat you like an idiot for not knowing or understanding. I came in here today because my car randomly decided not to start the other night, leaving me in my sweats and hoodie, with no phone, in downtown Powell, being pissed off and wondering if below freezing and underdressed was how I go out. After making a call on my watch (yay, technology?) and waiting for an hour - it starts out of nowhere. I come home, and I vow to have my battery checked first thing. Weird that I make vows about taking care of my car more than "I should really get this cough taken care of - nah, mo' tussin it is." Coming into this Autozone reminded me of the car guys in my hometown my dad used to go to - hands covered in grease from working on cars - other people's cars - and always a smile ready to help anyone that needed it. That's this Autozone - a good group of people that know how to help you when you feel clueless, and be absolutely cool dudes. The only thing missing, would've been a coffee to have with the dude helping me, because the conversation was explanatory, humorous, and friendly, and I wish more places had people like that. read more

Went in the to get a new headlight and didn't get very much help. I asked if someone could help switch the bulb out and they said they might in a few minute. I never got the help. very frustrating. Rude cashier. read more

I needed to test my car battery, so I headed to this AutoZone location. I was in line for maybe 20 seconds before someone helped me out. My battery failed the test, so they got a new battery and popped it in within ten minutes! As a young female, I have to say how refreshing it was to have a woman helping me out. It's easy to be intimidated and think you're getting taken advantage of by men when discussing automotive care, so having a woman help me out was just nice. She was very friendly and professional. Very helpful! The lady working there was more than willing to help me (I wish I could remember her name so she could get recognition she deserves) but I do know she's an assistant manager. I know nothing about cars and I went in there asking about oil for my car . she stopped what she was doing, grabbed paper towel, put gloves on, and walked outside with me to check my oil and was educating me on car things. Put oil into my car for me and even changed out my batteries on both my key fobs . It got a little busy in there but never once made me feel rushed, or like I was a bother. I'm always anxious asking about stuff I don't know out of fear or looking or feeling stupid, and she definitely helped me have a good experience today! read more

My car died and I needed to test the battery so I came I. And within seconds that had it tested with results!!!!!

Nobody in the entire establishment, employees, customers, we're wearing their mask properly, if they were in fact even wearing one. Felt like a pandemic nightmare, I ended up walking out and looking up O'Reilly. No respect for their fellow human beings. read more

If there is one thing I hate, it's walking into an auto shop and having the staff act like I'm not worth their time because I don't know anything about cars. However, when I walked into this AutoZone, that was not the case! I was greeted with a friendly hello by a young man, James, and asked what I was looking for. I told him that I needed a new headlight for my Honda Accord and if they would change out the old light with the new one for me. He asked which side of the car needed it and, knowing he wouldn't be able to do the driver side, laughed and said it was the passenger side. He sort of chuckled and said that he was definitely able to change the headlight for me. He asked whether I wanted the higher end quality headlight or lower end, explaining to me in a kind, not patronizing tone, the difference between them. I chose the lower end because it would last longer. After I checked out, he went outside with me to change the headlight. We had a pleasant conversation about various cars he's worked on and how his day was going. I HIGHLY recommend this location, as this is the only place I will be going from now on when I have car questions. And AutoZone should recognize James! read more

My car would not start today. We managed to get it jump started and my husband had researched batteries and AutoZone had the best local price. He went to the store and came back with a new battery and a great opinion of the store. He said the guys knew what they were talking about, tested the alternator for him, were extremely polite and helpful. Too bad more businesses don't provide this level of service! read more

The guys here are great. Stopped in because my left rear turn signal was toast. They cheerfully helped me find the right bulb and install it in less than 5 minutes. I didn't have my wife's car, but will bring my it back so they can make sure they am buying the right rear wiper for her car, as it's an odd sort of assembly. They will help you install most simple parts as part of the sale. It's hard to understand why so many people will pay the dealers and auto repair stores for this kind of thing except that maybe they don't know the service is offered. read more

My headlight was burned out and I was leaving on a long trip the next day. Went to Autozone to get the bulbs for my husband. One of the guys, Christopher, walked out and installed them in 15 minutes. Sweet service! Very nice people there. read more

My daughter owns a 2007 Toyota Corolla and went to Autozone to purchase windshield wipers and an air filter. After she purchased them an extremely polite, helpful young man who works there came out to put both in for her. He went above and beyond and took his time to answer questions and make sure they were done correctly. This store is fabulous and always go out of their way to make customers happy. I wish I had gotten his name, dark hair and had a great smile. He is a keeper for sure. read more

These guys are awesome. Really helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We were trying to solve a problem with a fuel pump to an old car, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was going to work. Manager Jerrod was awesome! My van said I needed a new battery, he looked it up and my autozone battery was still under warranty. He did a swap for a new one, cleaned my battery leads and installed it. Too notch service! As long as service is this good I'll never go anywhere else! read more

I had a fantastic experience at this AutoZone! My car was having many issues and I didn't know what to do. I have very little to no knowledge about how cars work. The staff here were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to help solve my problem and even assisted in the repairs. They didn't have to help me fix my car, the very well could have just recommended a close mechanic and went on with their day. But they help till it was fixed and I could also tell they had a passion to help their customers. If it weren't for the amazing staff I would have had to tow my car to a shop and that would have been very inconvenient and expensive. I definitely recommend this AutoZone location! The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. read more

My 21 year old daughter was grossly overcharged by a quick lube place to change a headlight bulb. I asked her to meet me here when the second one burned out. She looked up the part number beforehand and we knew what she needed. A clerk walked over and immediately asked her for the year make and model of her car. I told him that we were looking for one bulb. He walked her over to the shelf and I watched from the front of the store. When he asked about the method of payment I told him that I would be paying for the bulb. I looked down at the price and saw that he had substituted our specific request for a high performance bulb at twice the price. When I objected another clerk jumped in. I explained our situation and he offered the original bulb and then discussed replacing both bulbs with the high performance bulbs for "10% off". We declined and went to a register to pay. The store manager was ringing us out and then the clerk threw over a tube of goo which he said would allow the bulb to burn more coolly. What a disappointment. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. read more
