I heard nightmares about this store even from other AutoZone staff from different stores. Tomy, the tow truck driver who arrived at our house this morning, was awesome. Extremely personable and friendly. In fact, his voice and phone manner set the tone when he first called to notify us that he was on his way with an ETA. Based on Tomy's personality and professionalism alone I'd recommend Pick-n-Pull, at least for the towing service.

There's no need to be overly friendly or even smile. Just treat customers like human beings. I'm sure you occasionally deal with specific difficult people, but not everyone walking through the door fits that stereotype. Some of us are just regular people working on project cars and looking for parts. Unfortunately, my experience made me feel unwelcome, and that's not how customers should be treated.
