I had to get a catalytic converter replaced on ny car and this was the closest location. After calling and waiting to see if the part was in stock (maybe waited about 10 minutes on the phone), we headed over. I've never known about an Auto Zone open 24 hours, but this is one of them. We got into line quickly and the first thing I noticed was the amount of cashiers (4), the volume of online orders that staff was pulling, and that they had floor mats down for us to stand on while waiting. We maybe waited about 20 minutes to get to the front of the line and get the correct part. Honestly, I'm surprised at how quickly we got through given how busy this spot was. My mirror was hanging and I was given bad advice to just buy the mirror part from someone at the dealer. Simon took the time to come out and see what the issue was. This AutoZone is always pretty clean and the customer service is usually on point. I live a block away and know that when I need something from AutoZone they'll make it easy for me to get it done. Whether I needed new windshield wipers or motor oil- they're prompt with their help. This is the closest AutoZone to me and EVERY SINGLE time I come in here the associates are horrible. I've actually never had a good experience here. 6 people in like and 1 associate at the counter and 5 just walking around trying to look busy. I kid you not every single time I come into this AutoZone I am greeted with horrible customer service or lack there of, and they just do not know what they are doing in my opinion. I've had to walk out about 3 different times because they are that slow And I just asked for the managers name and this lady Megan would not give it to me. I came in the store at 10 PM for a part, there were about six employees standing around, joking and laughing.. As I walk in one person yells out "we closed between 10 and 11" So I come back at 11:30 ..the website for this particular store says they have my part in stock. I give the part number to a woman with red hair and she goes into the back to retrieve it .. about 15 minutes passes and she comes back chewing food and the last bit of a hamburger in hand and asks me "was the part for you" I say yes.. she responds "we don't have it, it's in the shipment we just got in and we don't deal with the new shipments" I'll NEVER be back to most certainly this location - possibly any AutoZone at all. Called this store to get a very specific part to put on hold that they told me up and down was in stock on the phone. The location was a ways out of the way for me but took the drive to get the part there because i desperately needed it. On the phone multiple times they said it was in stock, i drive almost an hour to get there, wait in line for 20 minutes, just for them to say they don't have it. Extremely unprofessional and a huge waste of time and money that could've been used elsewhere. I called from my house to make sure the part I needed was there, I was told by another location they did. The first person that answered sounded annoyed and transferred our call. Then we were put on hold because they had another customer they were helping. All this before they even knew what I was wanting to ask. I waited on hold and started driving to the store. It takes 25 minutes to get to the store from my house. I was still on hold when I pulled into the parking lot! the 5 star review isn't necessarily for autozone, or even for this location. the five stars goes to the girl who helped me behind the counter. she was the only woman who worked there, that day, or maybe in general. i entered this autozone nervous to have to buy a car battery (and tools to replace one) because i don't know anything about cars, and since i am a woman (and a bizarre looking one at that), i thought i was doomed looking for sympathetic souls. it was busy as all hell in there, phones ringing off the hook, understaffed. every employee running in circles trying to help the growing line of customers. i landed perfectly in the queue to be helped by the only other woman around and felt relief wash over me. she could have been understandably short with me, or frustrated at the situation, but all she was to me was calm and kind. she found exactly what i needed, sympathized with my entire situation, and even gave me a few tips on how to replace the battery as she was ringing me up, all without judgement on my lack of car comprehension. she was my saving grace in an otherwise uncomfortable situation for someone like me, and i feel like a fool for not catching her name. if you know who this might be, please give her the recognition she deserves for being a customer service EXPERT. read more

So here's the thing, I've been coming to this location for years, and I understand the customer service is sometimes rugged, the area itself can be a bit rough as well. For my personal experience majority of my visits have been in the night hours, I've always had good service looking for parts, getting my vehicles scanned, recommendations, along with associates going the extra mile. I've always tried being extra curtious with everyone in sales cause it can be a tough gig. I was told the tool o was getting would fit. The oil filter was too small for the tool, and when i tried to get a same day return the "manager" was just like for you. I called when I arrived to let them know I was outside, a lady put me on hold... I waited 25 minutes before hanging up to call back. Went to this location on Sunday to order shoes for an older car and had to get them ordered. The employee didn't mention that I would need to bring the receipt back to pick up the parts and I assumed that they would be able to look up my order with my phone number/name. Walk into this location today and a different employee behind the counter (later I found out she was a manager and her name was Diamond) yelling at another employee in front of guests and other employees. She is also the employee that I was paired with. Unfortunately the manager behind the corner was having difficulty pulling up the part/order with my phone number and gave me an attitude. (Gave her the benefit of the doubt and I went back to my vehicle to check to see if the receipt was there and it wasn't.) I got back into the store to wait in line again. I get paired with the same woman and let her know I cannot find the receipt and wanted to see if there is any other way for her to pull up the transaction. She is immediately frustrated and shows her emotions. She asks for the car information and misheard what I say which frustrates her more. She has headphones in so obviously she is not paying attention to the best of her ability. She then asks, "Do you want my help?" Seriously caught me off guard and I told her, "That's why I'm here.". She storms off and tells another associate, you need to handle this and goes to the back. Another associate has no issue finding my transaction with my phone number.
