Gave me very good advice, showed me different choices and helped me to put on the swipers as well as training his employee. I suddenly found myself with a dead car battery. A neighbor helped jump my battery and informed me that Auto Zone down on the corner would replace the battery for me. I had no idea this was a service Auto Zone provided. Sure enough! I walked into the store and Carlton helped me within minutes. It was so easy! Carlton was very helpful, informative and courteous. We had the pleasure of meeting Dale at the E Desert Inn location this week. It was time for new wiper blades. This was our first time at this store. We are senior citizens and needed assistance in finding the right size wipers and hoped that someone would help install for us. Well, Dale was so kind and helpful and had us all set and ready to go in just a few minutes. He offered us some advice that I had never heard before, which was to run our wipers every couple of weeks to make them last longer. Yesterday I had to go in twice & both times I encountered horrible customer service. 1st time I was standing there waiting for a rep to assist me. 1 rep was on the phone, another rep walked in front of me to finish his transaction & the 3rd rep was finishing her transaction while answering the phone. I stood there for 10 min & no one acknowledged me. A customer standing in line suggested I come in the cash register line as they saw me standing there. Again no acknowledgement 2nd time I had to go back in the same day I went w/a friend. We waiting in line to pay & all of a sudden we look to the right & the female worker had a line she was assisting. I asked her after her 3rd customer "am I not in the correct line?" and she said yes you are? If I am then why are you not assisting those of us in line??? Poor customer service, period read more

Diagonally across from 7-11, my husband and I just came from the other Autozone on Maryland because we were looking for snow chains (unfortunately the Autozone on Maryland does not sell and recommended we come to this location). One of the male employees behind the counter greeted us when we walked up in line. Unfortunately for our car rental, because it is too new (2015 rental), they did not have the right chain or cable for us. But he did recommend we check out Harbor Freight (he sounded very sure that they would have them). We also realized that we need to get an ice scraper for our windshield because we will be going to Utah and this is snow season. The same male employee who helped us tried to help us find the ice scraper. He took us down one aisle to try to find it. Unfortunately they didn't have it either and again, this employee suggested Harbor Freight for that too, lol. So with this location, we left empty handed too, but the male employee helping us was very friendly. I would not mind shopping here again. read more

Venus at AutoZone is the best - she really went above and beyond to help me out. I am the new owner of a used 2017 Mitsubishi and I've owned it not even two weeks. I was kinda in a panic. The car did not come with the owner's manual so I was googling like crazy to figure out why the hot engine warning light was all of a sudden coming on. Venus helped me with getting the right coolant. When I asked if she could help me put the coolant in (not sure where to even add it) --another worker there said they didn't do that there. Venus jumped right in and said Yes I CAN help you. She went out to my car, told me where the coolant went, checked the level, showed me what level it should be maintained at, poured it in for me -- WOW I was then on my way. Customer service was poor. I don't need someone to attend to my every whim while shopping. I just expect to at least be checked out in a timely manner. Couldn't even get that. I waited in line patiently and not one employee paid me any mind or spoke with me about when they'd be able to assist me. I understood, I guess they were a bit busy, it was fine. Until a group came in line behind me and an employee immediately helped them first. Beyond annoyed for the time I wasted waiting just to be disregarded. my battery was dead when i went to go to work friday morning after trying to get people to help me to no avail i started calling around to all the auto zones to see if they could bring me a battery non of them did this fortunately ii got ahold of the auto zone on s nellis and Desert in and talked to a young women named Lois i explained that i was 79 yrs old and walked with a cane due to a shattered hip and that i could not walk that far with a heavy battery she talked to her manager named Chico R and he was so caring and considerate he brought the battery out to me and put it in my car i paid him and i followed him back to the store these two people were kind and helpful and very caring of my situation If i could give them a 10 i would their customer service was out standing They went above what they normally have to due . My boyfriend and I came upon this Autozone when we found out the oil pan I bought online wasn't necessary to fix my truck. We were there for a return. I remember him saying that he didn't know why he drove all the way to this particular location because our mechanic lived on the other side of town. But it's a good thing we did! Waldo R. helped me. He wasn't sure what exactly to do because my shipment didn't come with a barcode for him to scan. He would ask his coworkers and even called his manager who wasn't in at the time. At the end of that visit he asked if I could come back the next day or later that night because his manager would be in to look at it. The next day I got a call. At first the voicemail from the manager asked if I had specific information, info etc.. He called after a second time and it turns out I had given them the wrong phone number. How on earth did I do that?.. I have no idea but it happened. 2 days after first coming into the store I was in there signing my signature for having the money returned back into my bank account. Every AutoZone I go to always messes up. If I where you I'd just go to oriellys around the corner. Good vibes and easy service. AutoZone sucks... specially this one. Always gives me the wrong brake pads and recently had to return a item that i special ordered and waited for days to come in because they ordered the wrong one. This place is a JOKE staffed by a bunch of clowns who don't know anything about what they're doing. Asked them to test an ignition control module for me and the guy behind the counter had no clue about what I was talking about. He asked another employee about it and was told to look up instructions. He took the part, ducked in the back for 10 seconds, and came back out and said, "Yup, it failed." Of course, he tried to sell me a new one, which I declined. Long story short, the module which he claimed failed wasn't bad at all and the vehicle was fixed without replacing that part. There's nothing more irritating than an employee who would rather waste your time and money instead of learning how to do his simple job correctly. Inside the store he overpasses the line of his already poor service by "scaring away a spider off my hair" He had already made me mad by not registering my rewards prior earlier visit and not being able to refund me for an item I don't need. Absolutely amazing customer service from the parts sales manager. I came in at 9:00 looking for a battery. He made countless phone calls to other stores to get the battery I needed. Once he found out the battery I needed was actually unavailable throughout the whole district he started looking for alternatives. He was able to get me my battery and I my car was running again.
