I came here two days in a row last week to bring both mine and my fiancé's car in. Each time was an appointment made the day before, each time was under an hour wait. Everyone was nice, not super pushy like some other places can be. Informative and delightful. Customer service was spot on from the phone call to the very end. Last year I came in to this location as well without an appointment on a Thursday, probably an hour or so before they closed. I was actually trying to drive to California that night and on my way home from work, a weird object ended up in my tire. I left my home and retuned in an hour's time with the tire fixed!!! SCAM! *For the record he didn't even measure them* Love how my car is 2 years old and only has 10,000 miles on it but the guy said my tires were too old to fix it, I said how long are those tires usually good for he said 4-5 years I said my car is only 2 years old then he switched and said oh you just put too many miles on them I said how many miles do they usually last for he says these tires are about 50,000 miles I said I only have 10,000 then he goes on saying they're not at the legal limit to patch them... he even said it's that brand of tires they're no good then tried selling me new tires... they sell the exact same set I have on my car... that's embarrassing. I drove a mile down to the next tire shop they said my tires were fine and well within the range before needing new tires... only difference is they charge to fix flats discount tire does it for free. And the amount of times I heard the guy say "credit & finance" they must get some sort of kickback or bonus for scamming people into their credit cards lol this place is definitely a joke... I had a very disappointing experience at the Discount Tire on Nellis. We came in with a nail in our tire and were immediately told we would need to buy a brand new tire and wait 1 hour and 40 minutes -- despite there being three open service bays. When I mentioned we might just go up the street to a Latino tire shop because they might be able to help faster, one employee made a racist remark that was completely unnecessary and offensive. Professional businesses should know better. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere, and within minutes another tire shop confirmed it was just a small nail and an easy repair -- no new tire needed. It's frustrating when a business tries to upsell customers instead of actually helping them. The attitude from the staff also noticeably changed during the interaction and became dismissive and rude. If I could rate the experience a negative I would. We purchased new tires from this location and first they put two different size valve stems on either side. My husband ran over something today that put a large hole in it and they didn't have a replacement tire and there warehouse doesn't deliver on Saturday. We had a spare tire that they attempted to put on until the replacement came in but, after they took the new tire off and realized that the tire spare tire was too old and they wouldn't allow my husband to put on the spare with his tools in their shop, we had to drive the truck home on the flat with the giant hole (since that was safer than the tire that was older than 10 years) and put the spare on ourselves with a tire iron and stock jack. We contacted a different location and were advised that for a small fee we could have had the tire delivered to the shop for replacement. While we were on the phone the second time with the new shop we received a voicemail advising that the original shop on Nellis had put in a "favor" for us to get the tire delivered over the weekend. However, in that time we had already reserved a replacement tire along with a new spare tire to ensure we don't have to endure this again. Thank you discount tire for showing up! read more

Definitely earned a -2 star today. I hit some debris in the roadway on the way home from work. I have full coverage on my tires. They didn't have my tire in stock at their location and their warehouses don't deliver on the weekend. They offered to put my spare on and hold my tire until Monday to replace it because the damage was too big for a patch. Then they refused to put my spare on because it was over 10 years old. They already had my new flat tire off. Why couldn't they just put it on with my consent. Instead they put my flat tire on and told me to change it in the parking lot. I've never had terrible service at this location before but today was ridiculous. Waited in line for air check as usual. 3 cars ahead of me, not bad. Should move quickly. Not today. Sat for 15 minutes without anyone helping anyone at all. I asked inside the store if anyone was working outside at the line. He told me the guy went to the bathroom. Really, 15 minutes. That's an official break. Someone should have replaced him while he was on his break. This is just stupidity at its finest!!!!! You don't just leave a line of cars unattended for that long. We stopped here because we got a screw in our tire (drivers side front tire). We also told them our sensor on the other front tire was also reading low and we were told they would fill it and get it fixed. We were told our tires are no longer under warranty and we drove over 55,000 miles last year (which we didn't) and were upsold to try to buy tires. We declined the tires as we just wanted the flat repaired and the other tire checked. Well I can only assume because we didn't buy tires, they didn't touch our other front tire....so we got our car back with the tire sensor still on and the other tire reading low. Wasted my time. I brought a loose trailer wheel to get the tire replaced since it had a screw in it. Jose was very helpful and told me it would be completed right away. After an hour, there was one person attending customers in the lobby and one person in the vehicle repair area on his phone. I heard everyone else in the break room laughing through the walls. I asked the guy on his phone if my loose trailer wheel was done and he said "yeah, I got that done about an hour ago." Needless to say I waited an hour for no reason. So I went there because the rear tires on my vehicle felt weird. They took it in and said it was because ALL my tires where old and meeded new ones and i asked them to balanced them, I said thank you and left. Turns out something wrapped around driveshaft and now it'll will cost me a bunch. I'm just wondering if they put it up to balance the tires like I paid for shouldn't they have seen the thing around by driveshaft, and told me instead of trying to uncharge me for tires I didn't need. read more

I've gone to this location several times for tires and/or repair and the experience has always been nice and professional. Recently had them replace all my tire pressure sensors and I felt the price was super reasonable. Especially since the dealership was requesting upwards of $1,100 and was back ordered which is completely insane. Cost me just over $300 and about an hour's time. Well worth it in my opinion. There's been a couple times that I've had to wait longer than estimated and/or told which it is, what it is. It happens. Discount Tire is much like the outfit I use to go to in the Pacific NW called Les Schwab. Not exactly the cheapest in tires and repair but you are really paying for the work and warranty if things happen to go awry. They are plentiful and easy to access locational in a pinch when needed. They will guarantee their work and product. That's why I use them. With that said, I've been happy with them and would recommend. 4.5 stars out of 5. Cheers! read more

I've been going to discount for years, even different locations. If i have a good tech that treats me right and does a great job on my vehicles always etc; I'll follow them to whatever store they go to. That being said, Daniel at this store is amazing! I have been dealing with him for years and at different locations. He goes above and beyond for service, his attitude is great and he works well with others. He's had to stop on my car to help another tech but came and get me know it might take a few minutes longer and explained. That speaks volumes in my book. Today I had a service of rebalance at this location. The service person named Carlos, not so friendly in my book when asking for Daniel personally. I said I came for Daniel for the service. Carlos then turns and with a little attitude goes "well do you want him to do the inspection also?", I said sure if he has the time. He just had an attitude about it and gave Daniel an attitude about it also. I was not pleased with Carlos at all and I def dont do service with people that act like that in a service industry. I will continue to go to Daniel no matter the location; never an issue and I also never have to take my vehicle back to him to have something fixed or redone either. Im 1 person, but my boyfriend also only uses Daniel no matter the store. Maybe he should get a promotion!! All 4 tires had to be done. Rides smooth now and no more noise. read more

In the last two months when we've gone in there for our vehicles tires, the first time they took and put the spare tire on the front which you shouldn't do and this last time we took the tire off of the car, put the spare on and took the tire in for them to look at to be fixed and they told us it wasn't patchable so they put the bad tire back on the car after we put a spare on for my teen son to drive home on. Meanwhile four staff come out to clean up the back- one actually did the work- they forgot the line of cars waiting and watching them horse around. I arrived at 2:25pm with a punctured tire. I checked in at the counter. He asked me to sit and told me someone would go with me to inspect the tire in 5 to 10 minutes. I received an automated text message at 2:28pm. At 3:30pm I approached the counter and asked Dylan if I'd been forgotten. The answer was, of course, "yes." He apologized and went out to inspect the tire. Back inside he told me that there were 3 people ahead of me (all of whom arrived after me) and that it will about an hour (another hour). I got a new text message at 3:37pm showing arrival time 3:42pm and the arrival time in the 2:28pm text also changed to 3:42pm. Good customer service is not their strong point. I went in yesterday just for a simple air pressure check. I was behind a car. A few mins a young man with busy curly hair goes to that car and she makes a uturn and he walks off. In this situation, there's was a miscommunication that soured my experience with this particular location. I need a 255/55/18 used tire. They said they had a Yokohama in that size. I arrived and they did. They had a Yokohama in smaller width, 225/55/18 and not the 255/55/18 that I needed. This would of be a 2-star review for me but I gave them 3-star because the chain overall in other locations has services my personal and flipped cars. Argh.
