I walked over to Larry and he came out to assist me with checking my husband's oil.. Yay for me, my battery died today. I have had the battery in my car for 4 years (purchased at autozone). Went in and Brendon O helped me. My car being older and because I am lucky, the positive battery terminal was super corroded and basically broke when trying to reinstall. No fault to anyone. Brendon's manager stepped to help and provided me with a brand new shiny terminal. I feel bad I was not aware of the situation before arriving, but Brendon and Teresa were amazing and kind. My car battery died at the grocery store across the street. I left it there overnight, and in the morning, went to this AutoZone. The entire crew there was incredibly helpful. My plan was to purchase a new battery and install it myself, but the store manager said hey if I brought the car there they'll install it for me! Unfortunately I had no way to jump my battery, because the friend who was helping me out had a model of Tesla which can't jump cars. So what did they do? They sent a staff, in HIS car, across the street to MY car, to jump it, so I could drive it across the street for them to install the new battery. I wanted to call everyone out by name but it's been a few weeks now and I've forgotten, but I received such an excellent level of service I really recommend coming here if you need any help at all. Shout out to the manager, Teresa! I was given a quote of $300 to change the lightbulb in my Nissan Maxima. I mentioned that to her and she said that's crazy. I can get it done at no charge. All I had to do is buy the lightbulbs and she changed out both sides so that I don't have to worry about the other side going out soon. after this weeks crazy weather, i noticed my windshield wipers were trash! i couldn't see anything out in front of me and only made my driving even worse lol! i went to my local auto one and i was helped by the manager Gabe. he diagnosed my problem efficiently and educated me on all of my options. once we decided which ones would be best for me, he rang me up and offered to put them on for me. Originally went to a different Autozone location and received an unsatisfactory experience so I decided to drive to this location instead. Once I walked in, I was relieved to see all of their employees wearing masks and enforcing the 6 feet rule in their store during this pandemic. I needed a battery replacement for a car and I was helped by Marc R. He was very patient and went over the different types of batteries that they offered and explained the differences to me. He thoroughly went over all the additional charges and informed me about the rebate that I would get back if I gave them my old car battery. After the transaction, he offered to help carry the battery to my car as he knew it was heavy. I don't leave much reviews but I felt that Marc deserved this recognition for going above and beyond with the help he provided me today. He was honest, professional, and friendly. Asked about LED headlights and if they sell bulbs for my vehicle they tried to sell me his halogen bill to replace them. On 8/30 my battery died but the next morning I had just enough to get my car started so I drove immediately to Auto Zone on Flamingo and El Capitan. I asked to have the charging system and battery level checked. It was noted one cell was dead so a new battery was purchased and installed. 15 minutes later I drove away with a reliable care again. UPDATE (10/19/2018): Since this, AutoZone was very kind and helped my mother with whatever she needed regarding this incident. I can say that I appreciate the employee that helped her back then and am thankful to AutoZone for jumping on this incident immediately. OLD REVIEW (5/8/2017): Very disappointed in AutoZone. In a fit of road rage, an employee from this AutoZone location drove up to the side of my mother's car on his motorcycle, punched her mirror out on the driver's side (which damaged her car door due to the force of his punch) and then sped away. We only caught him because he left his motorcycle parked outside of AutoZone (which was 5 minutes from the scene of the crime). He did all of this while wearing his AutoZone uniform - which is how we were able to identify where to go look for him. When the cops arrived at his work, he lied at first - denying the whole thing. When the cops asked to see his motorcycle helmet, he then admitted to committing the crime. No one deserves to have their private property damaged because some child cannot control his anger issues. And it is also sad that AutoZone condones this kind of behavior from employees wearing their uniforms. We will not be stepping foot in another AutoZone ever again and I will make it a point to tell everyone about the horrible experience my mother had with their employee. read more

This item is very uncomfortable to use and transferring gas to your vehicle will take forever. On August 19 around 6pm, I've received top notch excellent customer service from Jewel! First of all, I'm very skeptic about going to any car parts store for any work done on my car. I normally resort to my Hyundai car dealership. I went to this autozone and thankfully I did! The autozone on Jones and Tropicana are quite busy. When I went in, Jewel greeted me upon arrival. I asked if I can get a battery check AND alternator check. She was willing to do it with no hesitation. Not only did she checked the battery and alternator, she changed the battery for me since it was a bad battery. I had that battery for 5 years. I knew it was time. She even informed that there is 3 years warranty on this battery. I trust my car with Jewel and most definitely going here and recommend her for all car parts needs and services. Had the bad luck of having both of my headlight bulbs go dark on me. Had to drive home after work highbeaming everyone else tryingto get home after a day of work (Sorry!). Anyway, looked up the reviews for a nearby Pep Boys and didn't like what I read, even though I am pretty sure they would have slightly lower price. So I ended up coming to this Autozone after reading reviews (especially Monica N's review) and liking what I read. The store was fairly empty when I arrived, and I tried to look up the parts number in the booklets in the store. What I thought was a fairly easy and straight forward process, was actually much more difficult than I had imagined. Luckily, a young female employee offered to look up what I need and located the light bulbs replacement I need in seconds. She also offered to install them for me, which was a great help. Price-wise, I am absolutely sure you can find lower prices online. But those online merchants are not going to offer to help you with complimentary installation on miscellaneous tasks like replacing burnt out head lights. For a win-win situation, especially if you are not particularly handy with minor auto repairs, shop at Autozone. They get the business, and you get the right parts and keep your hands clean and still have the cars fixed. 5 solid Yelp stars!!! read more

Look I was originally going to give this location 0 stars and a horrible review. My fiancé went it to get a code read and cleared to be told by the cashier he couldn't get the code to clear and they could not get a code reading. Me being me since I know people who work or worked for the company knew that had to be incorrect. So I called in got the same story from the kid again at which point because he had a slight attitude my customer service background flared and it pissed me off. He passes me over to his manager who knew which car I was calling about and promptly gave me the code. This P.O.S named Miguel who works there COMPLETELY screwed me over today. My bf went to exchange the alternator that THEY got wrong to begin with, so this guy tells him he can't exchange it, but that he can return it and then buy the new one. Doesn't offer us any alternative way to return it, just does it without letting us know that he's returning it back onto our debit card, meaning it's going to be held for a few days now! Instead, he could have offered to return it to a gift card so that we'd be able to purchase it right away. We don't have money to afford to pay for a whole new one while we wait for that money to go back on. Then, when my boyfriend came in to try to resolve the issue with him, he couldn't have acted any more annoyed by this. So thank you Miguel for completely screwing us over. I'm only giving this place 2 stars because the employees here are nice and helpful. Minus 3 stars because the manager, an older bald Santa Claus looking guy, is a complete jerk who micromanages his employees and gives them a hard time when trying to be helpful. Let me paint you a couple pictures... 1st interaction, 3 months ago I came to help my boyfriend dispose his motor oil. I had 6 jugs and yes I know that's a lot. That's due to procrastination. Walked in, employee helps me and starts taking the jugs from me. The manager comes up stops the employee and tell me he can't take this many. 5 is the max. Ok, I apologize that i didn't know there was a limit but also understand it's a lot. Instead of offering to make an exception this time, I take my ONE extra jug of oil. Whatever's not a big deal, but funny how his employee were willing to make that exception and he goes out of his way to stop it. 2nd incident: I stopped in for new turn signal bulbs. Young guy greets me and offers assistance. Helps me find the right bulbs and asks if I need help installing. I politely declined because I thought I had it. Turn signal light wasn't coming on after self installation, so I went back inside to look for young guy, but he was helping one other customer in store. Saw the manager pacing around so I asked for his 2nd opinion. He said he can't help me and it would need to be his employee-- who's helping someone already. I said fine and wait patiently outside. Young guy comes out to help and not even 10 mins, the manager pops his head out to tell us the car needs to be taken apart to replace bulb and told me I need to YouTube how to do it (aka go somewhere else -- I need my employee back to close store.). The young guy tell him no we're able to access the light bulb and we just need to screw it back on correctly. He tells the young guy to go inside to chat and the young man comes back out and apologizes that his manager is told him to tell me to go somewhere else to get help because he needs him back inside. GTFO!! I've heard of manager empowering their employees to do whatever to help customers, not otherwise. WOW, I hope corporate looks for a better leader. read more

I went to return some snow chains that they fitted specifically for me. They didn't fit and I didn't want to pay $140 for something I couldn't use. I opened the bag to see the chain size and that meant I wasn't allowed to return them without a manager ??? I told him they were the ones that fitted them so I would like to return them today and then the associate threw a temper tantrum and eventually returned them but he acted like a small child. I wouldn't recommend this place for the associates. Management was kind and helped a lot but the associates ruin this place.... read more
