Wow the short girl that was working register around 5pm 9/2/23, horrible customer service . Partly my fault, bought brake pads 1 pair , but was rushing due to mechanic waiting on me. Total was $120 plus change. Walked to my car and looked at the receipt and knew something was off. Walked right back in, waited in line respectfully and got the same girl. I let her know of the mistake and she rudely responding saying she didn't do that and no way she made that mistake. So let me guess I grabbed the bar code scanner and double charged myself. Tried to make a joke out of it and she had a serious face. Ridiculous. Luckily the manager, I believe of Indian or Pakistani descent was much more professional and seemed to be very knowledgeable of the store itself. Corrected the problem right away. If you have problems working to serve customers find a job elsewhere girlie. :) read more

I wanted to give thanks to the hispanic lady in the grey shirt Hilda! I really appreciated how committed she was to the costumers in the store. Definitely keep in mind the wait times before coming. I don't think I saw anyone else in the 15 minutes I was there. Someone else should be helping her! Does the company not care about their costumers enough to have more than one person helping a store? I had a great experience with this store. It was busy but all of the staff was helpful and in a good mood. It was raining and I stopped in to get windshield wipers. They helped me to find the right ones, then offered to help install them. After I realized I could not install them myself, I went back to the store and asked if they would still be able to help. POOR & RUDE EMPLOYEES. I purchased a portable battery charger for $106.00.. I realized it had in purchased before because the box was not taped and there's no plastic around the merchandise I still try to charge my car No Luck. 1 hour later I proceed to return it how convenient.. The female replied you bought this just to charge your car battery, now your returning it !! Mind you after charging it 45mns did not turn on for me or you I replied, cables were still tied with the little tie,s and what gives anyone the right to talk to a customer like this so she did not return my money so I went to a different store and she had put in the computer system the product had been returned..!! went in recently for a diagnosis and wiper replacement and i felt inclined to make a review which i've truly not done before. i only made this account to report a manager AND applaud the wonderful employee that has helped me several times. david was extremely helpful and professional. he seemed happy to work and didn't ignore me like the other employees usually do (one reason why i avoid this location tbh). i felt very comfortable and would even go again if it wasn't for the way he was treated by one of the managers named cristal i believe. all i know for sure is she has a bunch of tattoos on her face. i was browsing when i heard the way she spoke to him. i noticed even the older gentleman who david was attending seemed uncomfortable and upset at the way she spoke to him. i don't think it's fair to treat employees like this even if they make a mistake. i think the managers need better training considering one of their lower employees seems more competent than them. isn't it their job to teach their employees? you'd think she'd wait to talk to him until customers were not within earshot. i hope she is talked to by HR or something because it sucks to see someone who isn't afraid of making a customer's day being treated like that. anyway, i hope the older gentleman files a complaint as well. i would not be surprised. for reference, this happened today only an hour or two ago on the 3rd of june. i wasn't sure who to go to in store since she is a manager but im hoping this review reaches the right people. i just don't think it's okay to treat people like that. again, thank you to david for being the face of this location but idk if i would go again when the managers treat their employees like that. david keep up the good work! hopefully they hire managers like you and less like that rude woman :/ i hope this long passage helps you out. my first and last review on yelp for such a helpful guy! read more

LAZY STAFF - Called on 6/15/18 at 2128 hours asking for help. My car battery died and I had to get a jump start from a stranger. I called over there with 32 mins before they close. The guy that answered the phone said he wouldn't be able to help me with a battery because they are cleaning up and going to close in 30 mins. I was shocked and appalled with their mentality. I told him my situation. It is obvious that if I dont get a battery now, I'd have to wait till tomorrow and get another jump start. Talk about bad customer service and lack of empathy. This location is close to my place of employment and the facility and staff are top notch! Everything is always clean, organized, and the employees are always helpful. My batter died at Northridge Park today. I called the store around 8:00 pm and asked if they could install the new battery for me bc...well, I cant! They said they would help me out. My car was literally towed and dropped in the middle of their lot. Giovanni (Assistant Manager) knew exactly who I was as soon as I came in the store and was professional, helpful, and light-hearted. Exactly what I needed after having my car just die during my daughter's tennis lesson. I was so grateful for their help that I used Postmates to have dinner delivered for the guys. Well I know there's some rookie sometimes there that are new hires. I am going to this AutoZone for years and I seen a change that more and more ladies are getting into the Parts customer service counter. I always give me the benefit of doubt but I'm gonna tell you 70% of the time they don't know what part I'm talking about or they may give me the incorrect part. Every time I go and a lady is about to help me I always say maybe this time she'll get it right. It's a 50-50 chance at times I don't get me wrong some of them are right on point it's just that the past 20 verses or so that's what I've experienced and I go there a lot. Maybe you need a little more training before that I'm loose and helping people. Sometimes the prices are a little more expensive than O'Reilly and that's why I go to O'Reilly's and they don't have parts for older classic vehicles as much. Anyways that's all I have to say that's why I gave you guys a four-star other than that I really like Autozone and have been using them for yours and will continue to. Thank you and have a great day. First, I would like to thank Giovanni for his help tonight. He went well out of his way to help with replacing a battery that was trickier than normal. He found a broken terminal on the positive cable and grabbed his tools to help change it out and replace the battery. Got my brakes for my Tundra replaced here. I got the Gold Max break pads and the rotors for all 4 wheels. Luckily I got the lifetime warranty last time I bought them so it should've been an easy trade off. Unfortunately the guy working here was very busy and seemed like he wasn't trained. Took too long to finally figured out how to restock it and give me my money back. I was frustrated especially since it was such a pain in the butt to get him to understand what was going on. But AutoZone somehow always comes through. Got everything taken care of eventually. read more

I've been going here for years for car parts, but I will NEVER go there EVER again! I bought a 3yr warranty battery 2 yrs ago from them. I had a difficult time jump starting my car today, I called my mechanic and told him what happened. He told me over the phone the battery is bad and to use the warranty to replace. I went there and told one of the workers... He checked my battery and it registered at 94% and the second reading read at 89%. He said the battery is good, and it's my starter or alternator... hmmm so i drove my car to my mechanic and they checked my mechanics. THey checked my batteries... then with in mins.. the battery drained and died. They called Autozone to replace my battery which they delivered to my mechanic. I do not like the fact they the workers are either incompetent or do not have correct batter reading machines that READS to their favor. I went back to complain to the manager and he was not there... THe on site manager at the time was the guy that reading the meter! i asked him what his qualifications were for reading the meter, he said, 10 yrs of experience. IT's not good enough! read more

You get hit/miss help at Autozone, but at this store you need to speak with Giovanni. I came in with a list of things needed, many of which I had never replaced before (just by chance), and he walked me through part selection, complementary parts, and even gave me step by step instructions on how to do my AC refrigerant when I got home. Everything fit perfectly, and I'm a 100% satisfied customer from this experience. You've got my business! I had been using on-line stores (Summit, 4WP, etc.), but now I'll only drive 30 minutes and past a dozen other AutoZone stores to work with Giovanni. He's the best. read more

Late last night it was brought to my attention that one of my car's headlight bulbs was out. So after work today, I stopped by this AutoZone and was assisted with probably the best customer service I've ever experienced in any setting. The guy who helped me find and install the bulb was not only polite, but cheerful; he seemed to genuinely enjoy helping customers with their car issues. I think it caught me so off-guard that I didn't think to catch his name - I was in too much of a stupor. Basically, I left with such a positive experience that the first thing I did when I got home was write this review.
