I want to thank this business and Carlos specifically for installing my new battery in my car for me today. I could do it myself but I didn't have the right tools. This is a nice thing for these businesses to do for those of us that might not be able to afford it otherwise, without the tools, expertise, etc..... These new cars today do not really take into account the lack of room for people to be able to work on vehicles like we used to be able to before. And unless you have the proper equipment, computers, a lift, etc....it makes it cost prohibitive. Not worth buying a socket set, etc.... for this type of work in my opinion. Thanks again. I have had an enjoyable experience every single time I've visited this AutoZone location. The workers are always ready and willing to help - whether it's to have a scan done on my vehicle or look for a particular item. On this most recent visit, Ruben helped me. I was returning a car battery then I needed a battery for my key fob. Ruben suggested the type of battery, opened my key fob to make sure it was the correct one then installed the battery. This is the type of service I'm used to receiving at AutoZone! Thank you Ruben! (Sorry if I misspelled your name). I pulled up to AutoZone at 6:24 on 3/25. I was watching my clock as I pulled up. Door was locked. I tried to catch someone's eye. I watched this guy move around the whole building - I'd assume spot cleaning. I then called at 6:27 while standing outside and the guy that answered said he knew "I'd been standing there for a minute" but they were closed. He also said his computer was past 6:30. I get the stigma of coming in right before close, but I'd still expect a business to be open until posted hours. He handled them closing early with no class. read more

This week, my husband bought a $30 part to fix an emissions problem on my Honda. It didn't fix the problem so he bought a second part (same one) just in case the first one was bad, as that really seemed to be the likely reason for the trouble light. The second part didn't fix the problem, either. He then took my car to LT Automotive for a diagnostic check. It turns out that both parts he bought at AutoZone were defective. We had to wait a day for the part to arrive from Sacramento (Napa brand). The part was put on my car and another diagnostic was done to make sure there were no further problems. There weren't. So, a $30 fix became a $300 bill because my husband was sold a defective part, twice. The money-back guarantee on parts doesn't cut if when it costs us $270 and two days without a car. We are done with AutoZone. read more

Found myself having to go across town to this location because they had the 'loan-a-tool' I needed and my nearby store didn't. Staff were friendly, professional and were able to find me what I needed. They have a couple different boards that list the tools, the one on the counter didn't have what I needed listed. He was able to get their old board out and help me find what I needed. Bad part was the tool was missing a piece which I didn't notice when I got it. I wish they would have noticed as they checked it when I picked it up, thankfully they didn't try to blame it on me when I returned it. Autozone is awesome for this tool service and while I was there they even helped a girl replace her burned out brake light. read more

Went to the auto zone in Virginia street in Reno. The customer service is horrible. New Battery was dead, the loan a tool service $35.00 and the tool given was broken. The sales rep was horrible. Our car is a Ford she deliberately typed in Acura. I told her she said it makes no difference. Now at Oddie location. Gill, (I believe thats his name) Customer service was 100% he was definitely interested in our concern and needs. Unbelievable, mouth dropping, kindness with concern. I won't be back!! They have a female employee that is so loud and obnoxious it feels completely opposite of walking into Cheers and hearing "Norm". It is a major turn off when an employee is yelling, "the line starts here" and I do mean yelling, from across the room. A bunch of dash lights came on while I was in Reno. I live out of town and was traveling with my infant. I went in, and a young man named Jesus helped me. He checked for engine codes and told me that it may be my battery instead. He ran back inside and got the tester then quickly determined that my battery was bad and causing the dash notification lights to come on. He was previously helping a very upset gentleman but when it was my turn he treated me very kindly and helped me with professionalism. Thank you! read more

Like some, I don't stay up on all the latest auto trends. I usually have just enough smarts to do basic maintenance on my vehicle's to keep them running. That's why when the stuff hits the "Check Engine Light" instead of the fan. It's good to have someone in your corner that knows their stuff and can & want to help you navigate through some of the tougher repair jobs. Employees at this location are second to none, lead by manager Sarah! Sarah is one of those stand out people who seems to really love her job! In my book, there's nothing more valuable to a business owner than to have an employee like her that can consistently demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. Sarah is personally & successfully dominating an industry that has traditionally been male. No, I don't personally own a large company like Auto Zone but if I did, you would see Sarah working for me! Whatever her current wages are, their not enough because employees like her are worth so much more to the success of any company. Her personality and heart keeps someone like me staying with company's like Auto Zone for life! In closing, Didn't see any reviews on this location for quite awhile, so I will leave this one that I strongly feel is just and overdue! read more

I bought a battery for my Mitsubishi eclipse on March 23 2015. The battery was good until it started leaking about 3 days ago. We returned it, but for some reason the name was under someone's name "Diego" like wtf? lol. I felt like we were sold a used battery. Today, their boss Robert was able to help and replace the battery without any charge. Robert was nice and helpful. Make sure you bring receipts if not your bank statement regarding your purchase. read more

Poor customer service at this location, they take their sweet time getting parts for customers, as in they walk so slow with little purpose even though the line gets longer and longer. Some people even walk out because the wait time is ridiculous. There is not enough staff or the people they have in the back that you can hear and see, do not care about the long lines forming inside their store or the people walking out because they are fed up waiting. 1 of the 3 employees is wearing headphone listening to music not answering the phone that rung 3 different times. 5 customers in less than 10 minutes walked out, no lie check the cameras if you have to day 7/24/17 between 7:30-7:45pm. No apologies for the wait time, no sense of purpose. I work retail as well and a lot more busier than here and still manage to help customers without anyone walking away and out of the store, no excuses for poor customer service at this establishment. read more
