Wow has it been a while since I purchased wiper blades. The last time I did I swear they were $20 a pair. Now they are sold separately because driver and passenger blades are each different sizes. AND can range from $17 to $75 each. O'Reilly's had a convenient book in the wiper section for me to look up the size. Although it did take a few minutes to figure out the D and P after the serial numbers. Upon checking out the staff offered to help me install them. I appreciated the offer but said I needed to learn. Ya, 10 minutes later I went back in and took the help. The old ones were original and had been crusted on for 5 plus years and I Just couldn't get a grip tight enough to remove them. But sliding on the new ones was a breeze. Thanks to the staff for the assistance without any judging. See in another five years for another set. read more

Oddly enough, 11 months ago, my front windshield wipers flew off and driving to work this morning, the same thing happened (last night's epic snow storm probably froze it); so, anyhow, I found myself back at O'Reilly Auto Parts. As soon as I walked, I was greeted by cashier/service person, Alexis (according to name tag on his shirt). Even though I didn't know the precise model of my car (yes, I'm that kind of driver), he patiently looked up the information and walked me over to the store's selection of wipers; he even installed them, and I tested them before I left the lot to make sure it worked fine, and it did. So, another pleasant experience with O'Reilly Auto Parts, and hopefully I keep these wipers for more than a year. read more

I don't know which is worse: Business that has NO Military Veterans Discount or business that DOESN'T honor their advertised Military Veterans Discount. I DON'T recommend this business as it DIDN'T honor their advertised Military Veterans Discount. Bait-and-Switch is a Deceptive Trade Practice. We went to this O'Reilly Auto Parts location. We finally found the merchandise we wanted. We went to pay. No employee was masked or socially distancing. We showed our Military and Veterans ids. It is outrageous and wildly inappropriate that we're told NO Military or Veterans Discount. To make matters worse, it was done with a serving of attitude. We pointed out their web site boasted differently. That according to the O'Reilly Auto Parts web site, the merchandise we wanted qualified for the Military Veterans Discount. We're told NO Military or Veterans Discount -for anything. YET, we had gone there ONLY because now inglorious O'Reilly Auto Parts publicly boasts their ruse at https://www.oreillyauto.com/military-discount with: "Our military discount is 10% off the retail price of in-store items, with the exception of motor oil, antifreeze, sale items, online purchases, special order items and outside purchase items. I've purchased many parts here when I need to do minor car repairs. The staff is always friendly and helps every customer that comes through the doors. If they don't have the part in the store, they get it really fast. Not the cheapest prices, can go to Walmart next door and get the same stuff a lot cheaper for maintenance items like air filters and oil filters. Other items Walmart doesn't have, O'Reilly has or can get. Store is always clean and well organized. read more

First time at this location I was followed around being hawk-eyed the whole time, wasn't offered help, but could easily tell I was being watched so I didn't steal something. Second time I was told "we're watching you" the second I walked in the door. This time (3rd time) I was forced to leave my baby stroller with the unmasked attendants up front. Was addressed by someone yelling "hey you" across the store and was addressed rudely. Along with the fact that I was the only one wearing a mask in the store, I was completely astounded by this treatment for the last time. Unfortunately I have a flat tire and desperately needed some sealant to get anywhere otherwise I would have left immediately. If this is how they treat their customers, I refuse to be one. read more

It carried a broad selection of license plate holders which was my focus on a recent visit. More than that, Bryan provided personal help to ensure the holder that I selected would fit as desired on my vehicle. Came in last night to buy a battery where an employee by the name of AZ told me that it takes them 3 hours to change a battery in a car. He's either lying so he wouldn't have to do it or it's management not training their employees to do their job in an efficient manner. Either way, it's unacceptable to have employees work at an auto store and not know anything about cars. I recommend AutoZone over O'Reilly Auto Parts should you need to replace your car battery which has experienced staff who will install the new battery in 15 mins instead of 3 hours by incompetent staff for FREE. read more

Was traveling and had the need of chains or cables for the snow call many places no one had the Zoe's I needed call this place they say yes they have it rush over to purchase the chains they put the on hold for me for 30min only got there the cashier had no idea finally they found the cables great! Mario even popped the new battery in for me and made sure it was installed correctly. Super nice. I have a neck injury and it was painful to lift the battery. My truck was having difficulty starting and I eventually bought a new battery from from here. Within 24 hours my truck was dead again and would not start. I assumed it was a different problem as I had put a new battery. Long story short, I was left without use of my vehicle for an extended period of time and incurred additional expense because they sold me a garbage battery and won't stand behind their product. read more

Went in to buy some motor oil, and instead of a "hello" the guy at the counter freaked out because I was wearing a backpack. Never had that happen before, I live nearby and typically have either a backpack or reusable bag with me when I go out to do errands, (including picking up motor oil, transmission fluid, and fuel treatments). Anyway he freaked out about how I couldn't have a bag in the store, but didn't really offer me a place to leave it either. Lousy experience, guy was rude beyond just accusing me of being a thief too. When I left the store, I made a point of looking over the doors and windows to see if I just hadn't noticed a new "no bags/backpacks" policy but there was none posted. I have since started taking my business right across the street to Auto Zone. Been in a few times now for motor oil, and some bulbs. Every time I've been greeted when I walk in and no one's freaked out over my backpack/reusable shopping bag. One employee, unsolicited, even offered advice on what brand of oil might be the best for my car, and one time after I had to wait in line several minutes to check out the clerk apologized for the delay when I finally got to the register. No idea what's up with this O'Reilly... It doesn't pay to treat your customers bad when the competition's right across the street. And especially not when the competition is so much better! read more

Omar is fantastic! I was about to lose my mind trying to get a bolt off to replace a brake light bulb. He was patient, kind, and was able to twist it off with pure muscle strength. He also stood by for emotional support/further aid when the bulb was not only broken but rusted into the socket. What a gem! And a blessing! That's how you create customer loyalty. One my first visit they sold me a refurbished battery but never told me it was refurbished. It died a week later. On my second visit one of the employees asked me in a rude tone, "what do you want?". I didn't even ask him for his help and he said that to me. I think he was trying to be funny but I don't think it was appropriate. I'm not a huge fan of O'reilly. The stores are always dark, cluttered, and the staff just aren't the most professional. read more

On my way to work during the day-long blizzard yesterday, my windshield wiper popped off and left me nervous for the drive home after work. I asked my brother to pick up an extra windshield wiper and meet me so I didn't have to go wiper less! We realized he got the wrong one so we headed to O'Reilly for the right wipers. The gentlemen were very courteous and helpful. He quickly assembled the wipers FOR US and we headed back to my car to pop them on. In the process we accidentally cracked one of the wipers but we were able to assemble it so it would work long enough to drive back to O'Reilly. I've always had good service at this store in the past. Recently I've acquired some fun toys.. a 1986 Honda Aero scooter and a 1976 beaver motorhome so I've been in need of batteries and other things that have proven hard to find around town. Omar has been so great spending time and being patient helping me track down these hard to find parts. From ordering from other stores so I don't have to drive around town to looking up old obscure things I didn't think I'd even find locally hes made it all happen. Even when I come in like a jerk at 5 minutes before closing he helps me with a smile and goes out of his way to make sure I get the right things that I need. Good customer service is hard to find these days and Omar goes above and beyond. As a dumb girl trying to figure out and troubleshoot problems on my old ass shit he has been so great and so helpful. Jake has no customer service skills. I was looking for door panel fasteners for my Mitsubishi. I asked Jake for help, and he offered nothing! I asked if he could look it up on the computer to see if they carry them for my car--he said no, they don't put those things in the computer. I said it's weird those things wouldn't be on your inventory, and said do you want to go over there and look in case I missed it? He said no. I asked what his name was--he said Jake, Why? I wanted his name because he was obviously so busy just standing there that he was unable to help me. There was 1 person in store being helped by the other employee. I purchased my jumper cables and an assortment of fasteners that probably won't work because Jake was totally unwilling to help me. read more

In my experience with 4 different O'Reilly stores, they have quality parts, and their service is so excellent it almost borders on charity. WOW! I used to exclusively shop at oreillys for years, I am a very regular customer that ended today. I will never shop at oreillys again. Purchased a bug deflector for my Ford Explorer which lasted less than an hour and ended up in a million pieces in the freeway. When I went back to oreillys to see what they could do for me(not expecting they would be able to replace it, but trying to see what they could do), they told me to come back tomorrow to speak to the manager because he was not available when I went in the first time. When I showed up the next day, as instructed, the manager was in the store but refused to walk to the counter to come speak to me. The manager refused to come out from the back and told his employees to tell me he could not meet with me. Walked across the street to the autozone on Virginia and I received far better customer service. I will never go back to this oreillys and I highly recommend the autozone across the street. read more
