Avoid This Location - Untrained Staff Damaged My Car!Do not let the employees at this store touch…read moreyour vehicle.I went to this location to get a simple battery replacement. The employee assigned to my car was completely unqualified. I explicitly asked them to be careful and verify what they were doing during the removal, but they ignored my requests. Because they didn't know what they were doing, they completely broke my battery hold-down bracket and stripped out the securing bolt. When they broke it, the installer literally told me, "I don't know what to tell you."The customer service after the incident was even worse. I had to do all the legwork, make multiple phone calls, and visit the store just to get a response. The Store Manager admitted fault but only offered to pay the lowest estimate as he claimed the store would have to pay it .When I escalated it to the District Manager, they just parroted the exact same story and refused to pay for the full damage their own employee caused. It is unacceptable for a company to damage a customer's property and then refuse to pay for the full repair. They have zero accountability and zero customer loyalty.Save yourself the headache and go to a different auto parts store that actually values its customers and trains its staff. I will never do business with this company again.

My downstairs neighbor had an issue with a spark plug on his 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500…read more He had the old plug out but could not get the new one in. Keep in mind it's been mid 20's and windy all day making it harder. Just could not get the plug lined up and threaded properly. It's hard to see the plug hole due to the low location and lack of a direct eye line. When I got home I tried for 20 minutes but also could not get it lined up and started. Enter Pat and Jack Pat: the plugs doesn't go in perpendicular on that engine it's a slightly canted towards the firewall. Jack: try reverse until you feel a slight click as it seats then reverse socket wrench and tighten it down. Maybe this is all common knowledge for auto buffs but I didn't know and also I watched several YouTube videos which were useless. With these two tips I got it in the first attempt as soon as we got back home. I've always had great experiences at auto zone stores. To top it off they give a 10% veteran discount. Much appreciated all around guys. I drove him to a competitor auto parts store to ask for tips getting the new plug in without cross threading. No help. Stopped into this autozone and asked the same questions.
