If I could give this place 0 stars I would. To begin with, the women working at the reception desk inside their office was incredibly rude and unprofessional. They also blatantly lied to me, saying that the dent in my Ford F-150 rear bumper included internal and lower damage that would be at least $1800, when in reality the only issue that needed to be fix was replacing the foot step and bumper and there was no non-aesthetic damage. Fast service, great quality. Unfortunately we got rear ended, fortunately it was just minor damage. But no one wants to drive around with a chipped and slightly crooked bumper just because someone wasn't paying attention. We brought the car in on Wednesday afternoon for an estimate but ended up approving the work that same day and left it there. By the next day I received a call letting me know that everything was squared out with my insurance and that my car would be ready the following day. This place fixed my 2012 Camry about 6 months ago. It was rear ended. Extensive work needed. It took them two times to paint the rear exterior panel of my car. Unfortunately I was rear ended again and this time Another Reputable Body Shop in Glendora is handling the work. They noticed the bottom panel of the trunk was not assembled correctly from Avalon. Bolt patterns not aligning and Weld screw missing completely due to being covered up from bottom cushion matt. Also the paint did not match to factory spec's within the trunk. This is something that only a dealership or used car appraiser would notice after the fact when your trading in the car. Loss value no doubt! It was obvious to an Appraiser and or Body Shop, (A Good one). They also noticed the rear metal bumper, (What's underneath the plastic on all rear cars) was not replaced with NEW OEM parts but used parts. How did they know that? There was red writing on the actual bumper. New parts from Manufacturer do not have writing on them! Pass on this shop cause what has been fixed may look good from the exterior but little do you know what's hidden is improperly put back together. In retrospect getting hit again uncovered these mistakes that may need to be addressed through the insurance company of the faulted party that works with this shop. Minus -5! read more

We have sent 3 cars there, and they are quick to get everything done. Sometimes they take a while to get back to you about something, but if you call and remind them they apologize for not getting back to you sooner. As the office manager, and clearing all the expenses, they are pricey. But the price is worth it. (thats why they lose a star in my book). The actual work that they do is fabulous. I have sent them a 1996 GMC Sonoma, a 1996 Mustang and a 2003 Lancer. All come out looking like brand new cars. Veronica, the front desk lady, is very kind. David is also very helpful! read more

This is by far the best body shop I have ever been to! I have now had 3 of my cars serviced for accident repair and for after-market cosmetic work and I have been satisfied each and every time. Each of my cars have been repaired on time and look great! My cars have always come back from Avalon in top shape, but what sets this body shop apart for me is their customer service. The receptionists at the front are always friendly and polite, especially Veronica. I always have a million questions for her and she answers them with a reassuring smile and she never takes long to call me back. Juan, the manager, has also been a big help each time I go in. If you ever have questions about prices, insurance, or estimates, Juan is the man! Even their parking set up is better than other body shops. Other shops I've been too are in sketchy areas and have a weird parking lots that are hard to get your car in and out of. Avalon is so easy to get to and the employees will meet you right at their gate to take care of you. I highly recommend Avalon over any of the competitors. read more

the worst body shop known there, be careful where you take your car for a repair. I was in the parking lot on Waltmart and I turned back and made a very small scratch to a somebody's car, this person told me that there was no problem that he was a good friend of Avalon Collision Center of Glendora, I said why not? I have to fix what was damaged, I offered to speak to the police to make a report and have the insurance company take over, but the owner of the car told me that practically with my deductible it will be the same price than the repair, first mistake for trusting people. So they took the car to Avalon Collision Center in Glendora, it was Friday, the man from the car with the scratch told me that he needed to rent a car for him and I agreed, we went to rent a car, the manager of the body shop CUCO told me that The car had to stay there until Monday and I accepted that by Friday of the following week the car called me to tell me that it was ready, which was $1,950.00, being that I know that this job does not cost more than $ 400.00 to repair it when I saw the Invoice they charged me for prescanning the car for a thousand and other things and the worst thing that had to be cash, the manager does not accept complaints or visa I very annoyed because he had made me a fraud but what I least wanted was problems I paid in cash and They gave me receipt, because it turns out that the owner trying to take advantage of and make fraud made a claim with his insurance company and they called me to find out my insurance because the man had made a claim and because I told them that it was a fraud that Apart from the fact that they charged me more than three times for the repair, now I wanted to charge again but now I wanted to get more money from my insurance when I told them that I was going to sue them, they said it was because the man was not satisfied with the painting of his car .... when he was the one who did not allow me to go to another body shop this is a team job of the body shop and this person ... be careful with this body shop I would never recommend it and whenever I can I tell him all the world what kind of person is this company be very careful where if you take your car to this place I would never go with these people who have no integrity or professionalism. watch out read more

I do have to say that overall, my experience here was a positive one. I was rear-ended less than 1 week ago and I already received my car with bumper completely repaired. Ofcourse, I was frustrated to have to even take my car to a collision center for repairs to begin with... However, they made it better for me. The start process was easy. Rental car provided by Enterprise was there and met me at the collision center at my scheduled appointment time. Staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Steve went above and beyond to get my car back to me on time. We had arranged a Tuesday afternoon by closing time. He was willing to wait at the collision center 1 hour AFTER closing time just to accommodate me and my work schedule. I appreciate making an unpleasant experience after being rear-ended so smooth and seamless. Not to mention, my car is 100% back to normal. Got into a pretty decent fender bender, my insurance already uses Avalon as their preferred collision center so i went ahead and used them even though I had another shop in mind already. The staff is always more than happy to help you and don't give off the vibe that you are inconveniencing them like alot of places do nowadays. Dropped my car off right before my vacation and it was ready the day before i got back, so saved me the hassle of a rental! Spoke with one of the managers i believe when i picked up my car and he let me know all parts were OEM even though the insurance approved Aftermarket parts. Some guy hit my car, and his insurance made me come here. I was busy and stressed so I thought it would be easier to Just leave it there. Since it was the other person's fault, I had the option to take it to another shop or a dealer....I was on the fence, but Again....I was stressed, so I took the convenient option over my better judgement. Don't get me wrong, the customer service people were really nice, helpful and very good about communicating.....that's what the three stars are for. But their work is subpar. The alignment of the steering wheel and tires were off....so I had to take it back to get it looked at. They sent me to a third party shop to get it fixed and they found something wrong with the suspension (!!!) they should have caught this when they were looking at it in the first place. Now Ive spent three hours of my morning waiting for my car and a rental. I am pissed. ugh If you are on the fence, Trust your gut, take it to the dealer. I'm regretting that I didn't. read more

Outstanding service team from all points of contact. My car was mildly damaged as it was hit while parked. The party that hit me uses Geico insurance and there's a claims rep in Avalon's office, to make things easy. They provided me a rental car through enterprise, who arrived timely on site. They explained all steps in order to assure me of their process. My car was done in less than 2 days. Looks great! They keep you informed during the process also. The only thing is that they are open only Monday through Friday. I had to miss work in order to pick up my car and to not be charged for any extra days for the rental. That was the only set back. If they were open on Saturday, that would provide a big convenience, to the ones like me who had to be inconvenienced by unfortunate happenings. However, my white bumper, which I believe, was painted too white (they claimed they followed factory color code - which I do believe they probably did). The car is only 2 month old and really shouldn't have that much of color difference between the newly painted bumper and rest of the car. I've seen much better quality many other times. Took the car back for repaint asking to match a bit better. They were great in getting me a rental car and off I go... only to find out the next day that the shop decided to do nothing about the car and the manager basically explain that's the best they can do..... I know they could have done better but they decided not to.. just wasted my time. Overall, given the choice, I do not recommend this place. read more

SLOPPY,SLOPPY, SLOPPY and 3rd time was the charm. They took 2 1/2 weeks just to change and paint the skin of passenger door. 1st time. I went to pick up car, they DIDN't paint the inside door jams, FORGOT to put back rubber moldings , half ass car wash, and OVER SPRAYED primer paint on factory vin number stickers on door jam that are irreplaceable. 2nd time . back, they painted half the inside door jam, which was incomplete . Rubbed off all the factory vin numbers and denied to paint the rest of the door jam. 3rd time . I called my insurance and Avalon agreed to properly do the job that they were paid to do. If they would have done it right the first time , I wouldn't have had all the headaches. I caught all their mistakes. They wanted to give me the car undone. Finally, I will never go back, nor recommend anyone and advise to never go. read more

I have been back here numerous times since they have not fully repaired my car. GEICO customers be warned. Since they have a GEICO Rep working out of this shop, it seems as if they are intentionally not fully repairing my vehicle. They needed my car a few more days since "they didn't realize my fog lights were damaged" however my fog lights had fallen off with my bumper in the crash. They did not even have my fog lights. They also tried to give me my car back without fully connecting the new bumper or undercarriage. After discussing the 3 parts my car still needed and 5 days later, they forgot to put on another part. I am shocked this body shop has as much business as it does. Perhaps it is people like me who have to come back 3 times for them to fully repair our cars. read more

I do not recommend ANYONE who cares about their vehicle to take their business here. I arrved with front bumper and fender damage and immidiately the "appraiser" or whoever walks out and looks at the damages started making insults towards my car and other parts of my car that didnt need attention, HELLO your job is to get a quality estimate and let me know how much in the end... after hours of waiting being ignored and walked passed in their waiting room by their receptionist and other workers, I requested a full breakdown receipt of why my damages equalled $4000 for a bumper and hood. After reviewing the estimate breakdown i was shocked and could not believe how crooked a business like this is and much money they charge for even TAKING OFF THE PARTS. ALSO THEY NOT USE GENUINE FACTORY OEM PARTS, THEY ONLY USE AFTERMARKET OR USED, no matter how much you argue or request with or without insurance coverage. Just an example, they quoted me $450 to remove my front bumper which literally takes 5 minutes(i know from first hand experience, its was barely scuffed not smashed in) to properly and carefully remove the bumper. They estimated almost an HOUR to remove the bumper from their so called "Body Repair Specialists". When i brought this to the appraisers attention he just looked at me like i was an alien and gave me some vague ignorant answer, proving they entire company is a sham to take advantage of the general wealthy citizens that surround this business, including the elderly or those unknowledgeable about cars. Dont even get me started on their $600 unpainted fender for aftermarket china or used part when i looked up that same day on Genuinehondaparts dot com and saw Genuine OEM Honda fenders exact part i needed for $389. All the people who say "My car came out great, great service, blah blah blah are the infdividuals who know nothing about vehicle repairs and quality vehicle repairs. When i walked back to get a glimpse of my car in the shop, i could see and hear some so called "repairmen" arguing how to put a rear bumper on and one mechanic suggested just using only 4 of 12 clips and the rest double sided tape.. seriously shook my head when i heard that. People need to understand aftermarket and used parts dont always fit properly, not to mention make noise when driving on freeway or install incorrectly due to inaccurate clip holding placing. I will never tke my car here again and the only reason i did was because my insurance covered it from another party faulty crash and i just wanted my car fixed already and came out looking rushed and paint didnt match properly even though they "swore 100% they color blend" the painted parts ensuring all parts are matching when in fact they did not. PLEASE take my word and go ANYWHERE else, this place will lie to your face, not use factory OEM parts (even if accident was not your fault and you had an original parts to begin with), and repair quality is no where near acceptable.. I dont care who has a response to this, im trying to help others before they encounter the exact same thing i encountered... Had body work done this year at this place after an accident where I had a blow out take out part of the front of my car. This was the closest shop approved by my insurance company so I took my car there and they were incredibly professional and courteous. I always knew how my car was coming along. I got text alerts on a daily basis. They went out of their way to get me quotes and set me up with tires with a different shop that was an outstanding deal. They did so many things above and beyond what you would expect including offering me rides to and from the shop each and every time. My car was immaculate when I got it back. I could go on and on but these people took a very painful event and made it almost painless. They were a pure joy. These are the most professional body people I have EVER come across. They took care of the body work ok but were not able to fix an electrical problem my car had after the accident. There was also a pesky warning light they were not able to cancel. We were involved in an accident & the insurance company salvaged the vehicle even though there was no engine damage. Our insurance company was only paying the salvage amount, which did not cover all of the repairs. Steve was amazing. He helped us get actual OEM parts for most of the repairs and found ways to save us money to ensure we could afford the repairs. The job took a little longer than anticipated; but I would go back in a heart beat. From the moment you walk in, until the job is done, they are professional, responsive and true to their word!
