I had a terrible experience here!! I had my hair done with Liz and she overly bleached my hair that even my scalp started scabbing. I had to literally text her to check my hair because she was outside on the phone and left the bleach on my hair for TWO HOURS! She left my hair neon orange because she followed a formula that was on my chart but because she bleached my hair white the color turned out neon orange. I had to go back to get it fixed, and she just threw dark brown hair dye on my hair which dark brown is my original hair color. I paid her $280 just to have her overly bleach my hair, get it wrong then throw on a dark brown which is my original hair color? It made zero sense.. I had to give my scalp a break since it started scabbing, I went back two months later to get it fixed to how I originally wanted but this time it was with Sylvina, I was clear that I wanted my hair to go back to a lighter color and that it was ok if it was a process we didn't have to do it all in the first try because I didn't want to damage my hair more... she just put a lightener on my entire head and the moment she washed it off my hair started MELTING OFF!!! She even told me not to do anything to my hair for a while because she knew they damaged it!!! They also knew that I had lost all my hair to cancer in 2020 so now that it grew long and I wanted to dye it, this is what I go through!! My hair has been falling off since!! I can literally see my scalp now and I had a lot of hair!! I did not get a refund, I didn't even cancel the payment with my bank as much as I wanted to because I'm just not that type of person!! But their work was lazy and terrible and I hope no one else goes through this!!!! It's been six months since my appointment with Sylvina and my hair falls off more and more everyday, it is super thin now and I used to have thick hair! I do not recommend this place at all. Here are some pictures this has been my reality ever since I booked that appointment with Sylvina to correct Liz's mistake. I regret ever going to this Hair Salon! My hair falls off uncontrollably daily!! This is not Normal hair loss, it is the result of damaged hair and a damaged scalp after my appointment with Sylvina and Liz!!

I have been a client of Avant Garde and have been getting my hair done by Brittney for about 6-7 years now and I will never go anywhere else. I was very apprehensive about going in to get my hair done with all of this Covid stuff going on because I had a baby 4 months ago but I was definitely pleased with how safe I felt getting my hair done here this past Friday. I was pleasantly greeted by Brittney and she took my temperature and I signed a quick questionnaire and I washed my hands before sitting down in the chair. They spray everything down with disinfectant and they have plastic partitions in between the hair washing stations. It was such comforting experience and I was so impressed. Now let me speak on Brittney's hair magic skills. Since I gave birth I have been experiencing hair loss and haven't dyed my hair in months and months so I had been feeling pretty down and running a little low on self-esteem but Brittney knew exactly what cut to do and what color to apply to bring back that self confidence.

My niece went to Jackie to get some hair extensions put in. JACKIE did a terrible job! First of all my niece was complaining about not being able to do anything with her hair because of the extensions. She finally allowed me to brush it and braid it and I noticed what a terrible job Jackie did. Why would she place the first extensions right on top of her hair with out leaving a layer of her hair to cover it up!? They also cut the extension that they added from I'm sure a mistake Jackie did. My niece also mentioned that Jackie kept asking another stylist to help them color match the extensions and also assistance with the placements on the tracks! How is it that Jackie got help from another person and my niece still walked out of the salon looking like this!? If Jackie did not know how to perform Her job then she should of let another stylist take over the client. We paid $365 for this! Jackie giving the "Avant Garde salon" a terrible reputation!!!!! Please think twice before going to this place! Especially going to Jackie. Now we have to find a salon or someone to correct the mistakes unless Avant Garde salon will take responsibility for Jackie's actions !

Well let me say Thank You to the girls in this salon. I had the best 1st time visit here. This was my first time getting professional extensions. Let me tell you I was skeptical as to if I was going to be able to get extensions. But as Sylvina started sewing and beading in my hair I was so surprised as to how beautiful and full my hair came out to be. If you are looking for salon that does great extensions (probably some of the best I've ever seen) look no more this is your place. I have been coming to this salon for over a year! I first found the place by looking through Instagram and I found Nicole! Who was very helpful and did an amazing job in dying my hair purple! I loved it! And everyone that saw it loved it! And now after I came back with her to do a different color! I did pink! And still I'm like omg!!! Her work never disappoints. I used to do my hair myself I never ever would again! Not after how healthy and soft my hair feels. They really know what they're doing. All the staff is great! I recommend Nicole I seen her work first hand ! Price is reasonable - not too pricey but not cheap! If you want good hair don't pay cheap. Worth it! I was happy! I'm so, so awkward and as such I avoid getting my hair done in the salon. This leads to interesting hair styles. I decided in June 2017 that I was fed up and HAD to get my hair cut shorter- the only catch was that i needed it done that day. Everywhere I checked was booked solid because it was graduation week, but Avant Garde had space. I'm horrible because I have zero idea of my stylist's name, but she and the other stylist who was there were both fabulous. They had tattoos and cool hair and for once in my life I didn't feel like the weird person at the salon. She didn't even blink at my undercut, while the lady at fantastic sam's practically cried when I had her shave it. Anyway, I ended up with a fabulous cut almost exactly how I wanted it. Think early 90s Leo. I love it and it's grown out fantastically. I highly recommend this salon!

I been a customer to Avant and I enjoyed every visit I had so I decided to bring my daughter to get a trim and hair dyed (dark) since she previously had a ombré look and wanted to look more natural again. I specifically told Jackie I wanted her hair dark again because the brightness of the ombré kept coming out. So she suggested a toner to match the rest of her hair since it was growing out. At first it was great and I loved how it turned out. And a couple of days later it was starting to light up at the ends again. I called the salon and wanted to speak to Jackie and left 2 messages for her to call me back and still before the salon closes due to the Covid virus I never heard from her. I'm extremely disappointed because I thought I found the salon I was going to keep getting my services done for years to come.

Went to avant-garde for the first time. Absolutely a great studio with lots of hairdressers. They are all trained by the owner. Brittany is super nice and great hairdresser. She cuts my hair and puts in extensions too. They have the best prices that I've ever seen at a hair studio. read more

Gonna be honest.. I had an appt with one of them last yr & I asked for bangs. Tell me why she cut them all crooked and straight across. Looked like a little kid cut them. I'm still tryna grow them out months later. Actually still annoyed about it and she charged me like $35 just for that... never coming back here lmao read more

When I first moved to Downey I needed to find new and closer spots to fall in Love. I got my haircut here not too long ago. It was okay. The stylist didn't seem open to fully discussing what I wanted exactly. Didn't cut it short enough but was still satisfied considering the length it was before. Also had a appointment and still had to wait for the stylist. Thought I would give another try and take my daughter for first haircut. Apparently they only have ONE stylist that can cut a child's hair and was completely booked up for kids hair cuts. Will not be putting anymore effort into this place. read more

I recommend this salon and in particular Jackie! I first met her six months ago after visiting Another salon that burned my hair! I met Jackie and she actually achieved the look I wanted without compromising the health of my hair. She's incredibly fierce with hair color! She's sweet, kind and an excellent listener. - so important with a good stylist. She's good at always adding a little flair to my hair and I just can't tell you how incredibly lucky I feel having found her. Salon is edgy in the artistic sense but the hairstylists are super cute and trendy and all willing to help when you walk-in. There's a strong bond between them and overall you will leave feeling great! Thank you Jackie! read more

Love getting my hair done here!! Bethany is awesome! She does exactly what you want. She's very patient she explains step by step of what she's doing and is very well knowledgeable. I always go not knowing what I want to do but she always seems to do something I end up completely loving. Lastly, her personality is the best!! I went for hi lites not real sure what I was wanting but Nicole knew what would look good and did an amazing job. LOVE LOVE LOVE this salon!! I started coming to Lilly in March 2016. I was recommended to her by a co-worker. I've been coming to Lilly every other month since then. The first time I went in I had box colored hair and had never gotten my hair professionally done before. She guided me through the process and made me feel comfortable right away. I left the salon with purple hair that night and fell in love with it! She is very knowledgeable at her profession and is always giving great recommendations to keep my hair lush and healthy. I always get compliments on my hair and get asked where I go to get it done. I highly recommend getting your hair done by Lilly!! How I love going in to this salon. I always go to my favorite hair dresser Lily she was introduced to me by my friend and this is just my 2nd time going to her. She did an amazing job with my hair. From the box dyed hair to these ones in the pictures. I highly recommend her to all the people who wants to get out of the salon completely feeling like a brand new person. She's very nice, down to earth and most of all will educate you and help you on how you can maintain your hair. Love it! read more

Sylvina is aaaamazing!! She colored my hair black.. it's been over 3 months and it's still black!! It usually turns yellow greenish at this point. Ohhh and She is so sweet. I recommend her for her great work. She even made my mom look stunning!! read more

This was my second time coming to Avant Garde, and once again I left 100% satisfied thanks to Sylvina and her lovely assistant. I came in for a hair trim, and my second Brazilian blowout after 6 months. I showed up to my appointment with washed, air dried hair with no product in it. The picture shows the appearance of my hair before, during, and after the treatment. Before Sylvina started the service, she asked me about my experience with the first Brazilian blowout I had. I've been getting my hair done by Adriana for about two years now and every time I leave her booth I feel amazing and get so many compliments on my hair! I trust Adriana with my hair because when I am not sure about a hairstyle or color she will straight up tell me what would fit my look and even give me hair care advice/tips. I came in for a hair cut here for the first time on 7/25. I called and they were able to fit me in which I thought was great! As soon as I arrived, Jackie came and introduced herself to me & took me to have my hair washed & was extremely friendly! We talked about what I wanted in regards to my hair cut and she went ahead and started cutting away. When she was done I noticed she didn't show me my hair in the mirror as salons usually do but I didn't think much of it. Then I got home and I started to style my hair and I noticed that the whole right side of my hair was horribly uneven and chopped compared to the left side. I can't wear my hair styled straight and I have to curl it in order to hide the choppiness. I don't want to say that this salon as a whole is horrible but I do believe that maybe Jackie could be a bit more careful when cutting hair. Don't think I'll be coming back here again :/. Good luck! This was a lesson for speaking up. I am the kind who will just let a hairstylist chop all my hair off and just smile and pay at the register. I had gone back to my natural dark brown color from blond, and was itching to go back. I made an appointment and went in, explaining that I wanted to go ashy blond, but that I understood it wouldn't happen all at once since my hair was so dark. However, I was given a double process without really going over the details, and my hair turned out not so much blond, but more of a straight up yellow. I looked like I walked out of an Archie comic. But as usual, I smiled and paid and left, and haven't made an appointment since. I just wish they had gone over the plan with me more, and I would have asked for something less severe and damaging for my hair. Maybe show me some swatches. I'm just going to stick to my regular place and not deviate. read more

My experience here was the best because it is the best hair salon I've ever been to. It's a great atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and socializing. I was super hyped about all the music that was playing in their store. Everything from Franz Fernindad, Jet and Crystal Castles! I replayed my favorites after I left. I was there for a bleaching + toning + treatment service with Nicole. You can view her work through her Instagram page "hairbyniky" and schedule an appointment ASAP. She was helpful and responsive and I was able to consult/book an appointment/service with her in the span of just a few days. During the service, Nicole was very patient with my hair and made sure my scalp felt fine during the bleaching process. Which wasn't bad at all. She answered any questions I had and made sure that I can reference her whenever I needed to. In conclusion my with experience with Nicole was great she is a sweet person and I would recommend her to anyone. She is a true artist Avant Garde has their own instagram page too it's "avantgardesalon" this is where I first saw their work and messaged the business to book an appointment with Nicole. Also very helpful and responsive to my goals from their services. My overall experience was amazing. I couldn't stop looking at how my natural brown hair just changed to a beautiful silky golden ash blonde color. I was like wow! My boyfriend FaceTimed me and was like wow too! lol. It's been a few days since Friday and everyone who has seen the change so far think it looks very nice! Some say it brings out my skin tone even more and that is coming from an esthetician! Update 2: So it happened again. I live in Orange County now so I went to a stylist local down there to get some highlights to bridge the gap between my previously highlighted hair and grown out hair. I talked with the stylist about what I wanted, and how previously I had someone put in a ton of little highlights everywhere and how I hated it. Stylist said she understood and got to work. And then the stylist did just that. Put a bunch of babylights EVERYWHERE. And it looked terrible, as it does on my hair. Because my hair is fine, stylists always want to a) cut my hair blunt and b) put babylights in, regardless of what is asked for. So...I contacted Avant Garde salon to see if Patty was available to AGAIN fix it. Thankfully, she was able to squeeze me in today so that we can get it fixed in time for a few events I'm going to next week. She added a root melt, and lowlights to cancel out most of the babylights throughout my hair with a darker shade similar to my natural base color, and then left a couple stands of hair with highlights to give me the highlighted look I was originally asking for. The end result looks great, and is a lot closer to what I had actually originally wanted. Thanks again Patty! She is so awesome and patient and will explain to you what she's doing and why so you can talk through it and she can give you the look you want. If you want to get your hair colored, balayaged or highlighted, you definitely can't go wrong with her. Next time I plan on just saving myself a lot of money and driving up here. read more

It's very hard to read some of the negative and iffy reviews about Avant Garde or any of the stylists employed here. As one of the biggest pain-in-the-butt customers a salon could have, I am always in need of SOMETHING. Be it emergency hair because I have somewhere to be in 2 hours, or I am bored with my hair (and I am totally incapable of doing it myself), braids or random up dos, extensions, total changes in hair color... for 15 years, Sylvina has been putting up with me and my constant needs and always does everything she can to accommodate me and if she is booked (and why wouldn't she be? she's awesome!), then the salon does what any salon should do- she gets someone to assist me. It is a business after all, and if you can't get the specific stylist you want, it's great to know that ANYONE here is just as awesome and capable and can see to my needs as opposed to just being told no, you get nothing. Every stylist is great with color, cutting, and their personalities are all fantastic. This is a place to come if you want your hair to get done right and you will have a fun time doing it. Every person will tell you the truth about your options. My hair was out of control curly and Ive been wrecking it with chemicals forever and they always make it look perfect. The Brazillian blowout practically saved me from myself and is an awesome alternative to chemical straightening (trust me on that- if I could post pictures I would). If you are unhappy with what they've done, they will fix it, of that I can assure you, and most of the time, theyre fixing MY mistake, not theirs! My brother drives up from Costa Mesa to get his hair cut here, my mother drives from LA for color, highlights and cut. Avant Garde Salon is a nice hair salon with a great atmosphere, music, and friendly hair stylists. The setting is made to look like an urban, gothic, artistic hair salon which makes it very inviting to not only women, but men such as I as well. Most salons do not offer a setting like this so it can easily dissuade men away from a salon, and instead conform to a barber shop. If you do decide to get your hair styled here, I would definitely recommend for you to ask for Nency. Nency is a very attractive, young, and highly talented hair stylist whom you can definitely count on to make you look your best. She is old enough to be taken serious, and most importantly, she is young enough to know what's "in." In other words, she definitely knows all the modern trends when it comes to hair styles, and does all her homework to keep up with them as well; This is very important for anyone who is young, or wants to feel young. She is also honest, and will not hesitate to let you know whether or not a hair style works for you. My favorite thing about her is her inability to perform a mediocre hair style. She is a perfectionist, and she takes her work very serious. I dare anyone to find a photo of any hair style that she cannot duplicate and make better; Trust me...I've tried. I also can't stress enough how many times I've seen "plain-Janes" walk into the salon, and leave the salon looking like models after having their hair styled by her. My carrier consists of celebrity representation. I deal with a great variety of glamorous women and I MUST say.....they ALL have always admired and loved my hair. My experience at Avant Garde Salon was great! i was really scared of trying a new salon since the last salon i visited had really messed up my hair. i had no form or shape or flow or anything on my hair it was horrible i had given up and i was just gonna let it grow. One day i saw my friend's hair; it looked so nicely cut and colored i asked her where she cut it and that's how i found out about Avant Garde Salon. i decided i was gonna go and try it. as soon i came in i was greeted friendly, the salon looked really nice i should say unique :) my stylist amber was really friendly and she talked to me while cutting and styling my hair. She would also tell me what she was doing to my hair as she was cutting it (ex. now im giving u another layer for volume). i told her i wanted to keep the length of my hair the same just a slight trim and i wanted volume, that's exactly what she did. she also advised me in what type of products to use to keep the volume and to keep my hair from getting damaged. after all, Avant Garde Salon is to me one of the best salons Ive been to and i'm actually planning on going back anytime soon. i really recommend this salon everyone in there is friendly and very professional. When I went in to AvantGarde, Andre asked me what I wanted and I gave him the OK to do whatever he wanted. He gave me a great layered style that is easy to maintain. He used pointed cutting, slicing, and a razor on my cut. I am currently trying to add lenth to my hair and have gone in to get trims. Andre has been able to keep the style without losing much lengh. In addition, Andre has begun to color my hair. I was not a fan of coloring but since the unavoidable gray hairs began to make themselves present, I had no choice. Andre colored my hair and was able to match my current hair color with light shimmers of red/brown. To help with the maintence of my hair, I have also gone in for conditioning treatments. I adored this salon. I recently moved to LA and was desperate to find a new stylist. Being a faithful client of my previous stylist for over 10 yrs, I asked around and received nothing but fabulous reviews from a coworker about Sylvina and Avant Garde. The salon itself is spacious and stylish on its own, not relying on being overly trendy, but quietly cool. The best part, however, was Sylvina and the rest of the staff. From the moment I stepped in, I was made to feel more like a friend than a first-time client. I was almost immediately led over to a station (not a minute after my 10am appt.) and for the next 2 hours I was offered refreshments and endlessly entertained by Sylvina's friendly attitude and stories. The best part was the end result! After having a minor mishap with my prior coloring experience, I had to say less than 15 words for Sylvina to know exactly how to fix it, and make it 100 times better! So glad I asked for the recommendation, and to have so quickly found an awesome salon and stylist in LA :) read more

I am soooo happy I found this place. I commented on my co-workers hair for months, that I always love the way it looks. And she told me about Avante Garde, and Silvina. I was excited to learn that it is located right here in Downey, just minutes from my home. This is like a dream come true, because I would have to drive farther out to my other place. Well, long story short, I love it. The place is clean, the service is excellent. And in the event that Silvina is not able to do my hair (since I call last minute sometimes) she always makes sure my notes are available to the other stylists about my color and haircut preferences. I walked out of there last week and had to call to tell her how HAPPY I am with my hair. I would recommend Avante Garde hightly to anyone looking for professional service and knowledgeable stylists. And the girls greet you from the moment you walk in, offer you a beverage or whatever you need, and are very attentive. Brittanny gives an amazing shampoo, too. Great place. read more

I have been following Sylvina Sansur to every salon she has been at. After 6 years of working on my mane, I am now happy she has created her own home, with Avant Garde Salon. I am so happy for her! in the past 6 years I am guilty to say that I have cheated on her from time to time BUT I always come crying back for her to "FIX" the mistakes someone else has made. Sylvina is the most amazing colorist I have ever had work on my hair and I have been everywhere. From Jonathan Salon, Manu International, to Gavert Artelier -- NO ONE CAN DO BETTER! She truly can work with anything. I came to her with 3 times over processed hair that was originally died Jet Black and converted to Platinum Blonde... Obviously that didn't work out and I had to run to her as a referral from my best friend, who has been with her for over 8 years. She truly is very gifted and can work with any hair type. So... I am terrified about having my hair cut. I went twenty years (give or take) without doing anything to it but letting it grow. Sylvina changed all that!!! Her salon is fun, not the least intimidating, and she actually TALKED to me for about twenty minutes before she did anything at all to my hair. (I think she knew how scared I was!) Since that fateful day one year ago, I have been a regular client at Avant Garde and have referred several friends because I trust the staff there to treat them all as well as they've treated me. Syl is a genius with color and is more than willing to explain the hows & whys of coloring if you ask (which I made the mistake of doing once - chemistry, ugh!) I've never liked my hair as much as I do now. The salon is comfortable, well-stocked,, and professional. I don't think I could possibly go anywhere else... ever! read more

I've been to this salon about a year and a half ago, and to be honest I didn't like it so much. I just went again in the beginning of the year - I had to get my hair done, and the girl I had been seeing in Pasadena was on vacation. It changed tremendously! The first thing I noticed was a sticker at their door about being a member with salon inspector. Now, I researched that and it is awesome. They are being inspected voluntarily - pretty darn cool. Makes me feel good to know I am safe there. The owner must have actually some sense and realized that we, the clients , like it CLEAN. Also, the next important thing: my color! Turned out very good this time around. All in all I had a good experience, the salon was clean. Everything seemed organized and they also did some renovations too. Looks real good. Well I finally going to make my comment: I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! :) I am a blonde that has been looking for someone to be able do my hair without braking it and going completely bald. BRITNNEY is my professional hair stylists and I will never ever again allow anyone else to touch my hair, that is how good she is. She explains every process she is doing and also advise with her professional outlook what will work/look good. Besides she makes you feel right at home, my last visit I was in a process of planning a birthday party and did not a single bite to eat so she was generous enough to go get me fresh delicious sandwich on her by the way. I have been coming to Avant Guarde Salon for about 5 months now and all I can say is, Fantastic!! All the stylists are friendly and professional, the facilities are always neat and clean and they offer their clients refreshments! I usually get my services done with Sylvina, but have had the pleasure of being serviced by Amber and Andre as well, and have always been satisfied with the results. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming and they make me feel like more than just a client. They have done lots of different things to my hair and every time I leave from there I feel like I look fabulous. And I do! I always get compliments on my hair from friends as well as strangers and I recommend this salon to anyone who comments on my hair. I used to go to Beverly Hills Salons and pay the high prices too. My daughter a former hair model. We grew tired of the drive and excessive prices. You don't have to pay over $100 for a hair cut to get the same look and style. Then add the color and highlights...$$$ it all adds up. My daughter and the rest of my family get the Beverly Hills look and personal attention and service ( latest style, cut and color). without the high prices!!! I came to this salon as a last minute decision. My original hairdresser couldn't see me so I yelped salons in the area in hopes of finding someone that would possibly be able to take care of the services I needed. I came in for a consultation with Sylvina and scheduled my appointment just 2 hours later. Not only was she amazingly welcoming, but knew her stuff. I've gotten my hair colored multiple times and this by far is probably the best job I've had done. She took her time and it definitely showed. Will be recommending this salon and Sylvina to close friends and family and would encourage anyone reading this to consider. Everyone here seems very knowledgeable and welcoming. As a newcomer to Downey, I was in search of a new colorist. I stopped at an attractively decorated, trendy-looking salon for a referral. I was told that Sylvina specialized in color and made an appointment with her. That was years ago. I found her knowledge and skill ... and talent ... so reliable that I followed her to her own salon. My loyalty was won because I have had years of sincere customer service and a hair color (reds to auburns) that elicit constant compliments. Even after years of dying, my fine, thin hair is shiny and vibrant. Sylvina has monitored health as well as style of my hair ... and, of course, gorgeous color. It astounds me that anyone could have any criticism. It makes me more than a little suspicious of their motivation. read more

This place is my hair Rehab!!! I came in with a bad case of hair do to a bad set of hair extensions done at another salon my hair didn't match and it was just a mess.... So i came in to get to get help, and let me tell you by far the best experience ever i have 2 months now with my new hair and new extensions!! I LOVE THEM!! not to mentioned my hair looks so real Selina is by far the queen of blending extensions my new hair color is awesome! the best part of it my husband loves it! :) I will definitely be going back forever and ever!!! the service is great the prices are reasonable and affordable and just the environment and people are awesome! My husband, daughter, and I have been following Sylvina for about 10 years. We were thrilled when she finally got her own place! She always does a great job. I feel confident enough with her that I just tell her to do what she wants with my hair, and it always looks great! Selena is my daughter's stylist, and she is wonderful, and always does my daughter's hair the way she wants it. My daughter adores her, and always looks forward to chatting with her. Britanny is a sweetheart, and I always enjoy seeing her; and she makes you feel very pampered. Lavene is wonderful! She keeps everything together, and always has time to bring you a cold drink, too! I would so go back to Avant Garde =0D Andres washed, cut, & styled my hair & enjoyed every part of it ((($45 Combo))). I'm a simple gal & don't get my hair done or cut regularly. On top of being very low maintenance I've had some terrible experiences @ other salons. i guess because i would go to those 2 for 1 haircuts lol! i KID I KID! I'd go to those corner salons where old & outdated people work @, not to sound mean. I didn't know what i wanted going in there all i knew is that i wanted a hair cut & so i decided to go all out. I had to change salons after many years. I did not know where to go and began my search by calling salons in Downey. The girl who answered the phone in Avant Garde Salon knew I was very apprehensive and suggested having Sylvina call me back. Well, Sylvina's call made me so comfortable, I made an appointment for a haircut that week. That was over a year ago, and I have never been sorry. In fact, I have been very happy. Sylvina, the owner has been coloring and cutting my hair for a few years. Even though I've moved far from Downer I ask her to cut my hair every time I'm in town and she always is accommodating. Not only is she an amazing hair stylist, but she has a great attitude towards her clients and employees. The salon itself is very clean with a retro look. Its art work is very classy and from local artists. Lastly, she reaches out to the community and hosts charity events. How does she manage to do it all with the quality she provides?!?! read more
