I've been getting acrylic nails for almost 30 years. I've been to many salons in my time. I was visiting from Colorado and decided my hands and feet were in desperate need of attention. Amy did my pedi and did a wonderful job! She cleaned under my nails which is something other salons don't always do. Hannah did my nails. She soaked my nails off instead of trying to pop them off, which can be painful! She did exactly what I asked her to do and my nails are beautiful. What I especially liked is that she didn't cut any corners in an effort to get me out the door and put another person in her chair! I don't have the money or time to make a twice monthly trip to Avanti to get my nails done, however, if I win the lottery I will certainly fly down to get them done. The salon is very clean, well organized, and all the staff are very professional. The music playing was great and I felt so pampered!!! read more

The person who did my pedicure botched my toenails. Cut them so short they looked aweful. The vibe was off as I felt like treated like a Hurd of cattle and please speak English in front of customers. It's rude. January 24th and I have no idea who the tech was. read more

LOVE my nail tech Michelle!! I go in for the nail builder and she does an absolutely beautiful job. My nails look natural and feminine. My best friend was going to another salon/tech, where they did a lousy, poor quality job. She now comes to see Michelle, as well, and couldn't be happier! There's a HUGE difference in the quality and durability of her manicure. If Michelle is booked, ask for Chi. She's never worked on my nails but I've seen her work... it's awesome! read more

Three out of 5 visits were good. Last two visits were not good. I won't go back. Visit 4 - shellac pedi & shellac mani ... four days after service my nails chipped. I was on vacation. Had to have them redone... Manager comped me $8 on visit 5 when I showed him the pics. Visit 5 - remove shellac, shellac mani, regular pedi. * 1pm appt, sat in pedi chair until 130 without water or service. Was there til 3pm. * pedi - She cut my nails AFTER painting them, the cooling gel stained my legs (was wearing shorts) until I showered, nails were left way too long despite asking multiple times for shorter. *shellac mani 5 chipped today (got it yesterday) and peeled off my nail. I'm not a complainer. After complaining about mani 4 I wasn't going to nit pick but this stinks. I won't go back. $158 for 2 mani pedis yesterday and neither of us are happy. And I have to have it all redone at another spa. 2 hours and $158 wasted. Good luck. read more

They have multiple choices for pedicures and manicures. My daughter got the deluxe and I went with the pedicure service just above. Both were good. My nails lasted 5 days, not gel and my toes nails lasted a good month. Staff were professional and kind. They offer free water and you can purchase drinks. It's a relaxing atmosphere and fairly quiet if you wanting some solitude. We'll be back! read more

My bestie and I were looking for a place to get pedicures and manicures before leaving on vacation. Our normal salon moved so I googled this place. We were seated quickly. All staff were kind and helpful. Katie and Kellie were our nail techs. They did excellent jobs on the pedicures. We were at another place last month and our nail polish was not so well applied. These ladies nailed it. We both got Deluxe gel pedis. Only slight negative was the massage could have been a little better. Felt like they were just touching the outside of our legs. This salon is very pretty. Music playlist was awesome. I got a milk and honey pedi. My tech, male was a little rough with the snippers and filing. I had to yank my foot away more than once. I liked the massage. Paraffin treatment could have been warmer. Powder nails w chrome finish was good. Hannah was very nice and meticulous. Coming from Dallas I'm used to having nails and toes done simultaneously which cuts way down on time. Chi told me to call and request and if they have enough techs they can do that. Was there for a little over two hours on Friday evening. The other thing I'm used to is to remove old, I like the process of putting a remover soaked cotton piece on the nail and wrapping the nail in foil. I've found salons here have you soak your fingers in acetone. The whole finger. Mine fingers turn white and end up so dry. This is the 5th salon I've tried in the area and seems to be the best of those. We'll see how the nails hold up. read more

My full acrylic set came out amazing!! I love them! My pedicure on the other had I can't say it was great or even good. The lady cut my toe and to clean up the polish would use her long nails and dig into my skin hard. When she used the scrub she was extremely rough and my legs and feet were red from the roughness. First visit and had the absolute best experience ever here!! Never have I enjoyed getting my nails and pedicure done at a nail salon in my twenty years of doing so. Emily did an amazing job on my fill and design. I gave her an inspo pic along with some thoughts and she did a great job, I couldn't be happier. The shape and design is exactly what I wanted. Vi did my pedicure and was very attentive and considerate of my injured foot. She did such a wonderful job and I love my pedicure. She gives great massages too. Love and recommend the Cappuccino pedicure, it feels and smells so good. Peter, the owner is very kind, thoughtful and takes great care of his clients. He spoke to everyone that came in and made sure everything was great and going well. This was the first time I didn't feel rushed while getting my services, which considering how much nails cost nowadays was very appreciated to feel you're getting your moneys worth. Thankful to have finally found a nail salon that works for me!! I had a positive experience from the moment I arrived to the second I left. I called and made an appointment at 1:00 for a 2:00 pedicure. The person with whom I spoke was very friendly and polite. I arrived at 1:55 and checked in. They have an electronic check-in. Then I was asked to take a seat and was attended to after waiting no more than a few minutes. Everyone there is really friendly. Pedicure was very good and I felt great afterwards. I think she was in a hurry because she drilled my nails so fast and hard. You can even see my cuticles dry and flaky and didn't even remove them. I have left over glitter/nail polish on the side of my fingers and again was not removed. Will probably not go back and just go to a nearby nail salon. read more

Avanti Nails is the place to go for beautiful nails that you will love. They are very clean and put together. I went on Tuesday to get a set removed (from another salon) and a new set put on. Emily was amazing and is very attentive to detail. By your second visit, Peter will know your name and greet you by it which is always awesome. I just went in today on a Friday before they closed because I had accidentally chipped my polish and within 30 minutes Peter had sat me down and fixed it for me for free. I tried this place after reading several good reviews and I was not disappointed! It is small and quiet (which I love), and I recommend calling ahead because I ended up leaving and coming back. I got a wonderful pedicure from Katie, who was VERY thorough and got all kinds of nasty stuff out of my feet. I then got a beautiful acrylic set from Chloe. She understood everything I asked for and wanted, and she was also very thorough and VERY kind. The salon itself is nice, it's not overstimulating with cheesy decor- it's relaxing and clean. I love that it wasn't loud and packed, plus they were playing 80s power ballads. I was in and out in less than two hours which is impressive for having an entire gel pedicure and an acrylic set. I cannot say enough good things about this place! I've been coming here for close to a year and the service is never anything but exceptional. I am a highly indecisive person which can be frustrating for a nail tech but every member of the staff handles it with grace. They offer me options, and even pick colors for me that I ALWAYS end up loving. The owner Peter is constantly checking in with clients and providing assistance, he always remembers regulars names and asks about their families. Emily is the nail tech to beat, she is a perfectionist in the best sense. She's meticulous, sweet, and hilarious. After years of searching places from Austin to San Antonio I've finally found my nail salon. I live in a different city and drive here once a month to receive their amazing service, if that doesn't speak to how amazing this place is I don't know what will.
