I came here not really knowing what to expect but was very happily surprised with excellent customer service, and amazing attention to detail from Henry. He gave me a full set and used a airbrush for the french tips (i've never had that done before so it was a really fun new experience for me) and they came out absolutely perfect. Henry checked with me every step of the way to make sure I was happy with everything, which i find to also be very rare now a days, and he double checked to make sure i was comfortable all throughout the process. 100% recommend. I will probably frequent this salon from now on.

I went to USS NAILS off walnut drive due 2 my other 2 salons were booked solid. I should of waited! The owner did my nails. He was very distracted due to plumming issues in the shop next door. My nails look like shit! Look like i have dinosaur nails, thick. Uneven, tips are crooked on 6 out of 10 nails. I came home and filed, Trying to make them look like my nails normal look like, but to thick to file. Will be getting a new set in a week, thank GOD. read more

The last 4 times I have been here the polish bubbles up on my nails. I have asked about it and the owner stated that it was a new top coat and he would fix it. Still got the bubbly top coat. Also asked for gel nails and enamel pedicure. The colors that he said were the same DO NOT MATCH. He complains about products from China but continues to use them, I'm assuming bc they are much cheaper. Mess up once, shame on you. Mess up next 3 times shame on me for going back. These are very nice folks, but don't waste your money on a BAD gel manicure. 4 bad manicures and $140 + tips later I am moving on. read more

I would have given 4 stars, but while I was waiting for my toe nails to dry a woman walked in, just like I did with no appointment, and asked for a pedicure. The place was empty except for myself and one lady who was already being worked on by a gentleman. The lady that gave me my pedicure was doing nothing and available but told the woman, who happened to be black, that they were booked for the day. I was done about 2 minutes after she left and went to my car and called to see if they could get me in for a pedicure if I came in right away and she (same lady I had) said yes, what is your name? Unfortunately, my hunch was right. I will not be returning to a place that discriminates because of the color of one's skin. That technician should be ashamed. read more

Crystal was such a pleasant. The place was so clean and the best part is their music they put on. The only nails shop that plays the 70's. She took her time on my pedicure and made sure I had the full experience even if I didn't pick the higher package. I wish I lived here, I would come here all the time. The price was so reasonable too. I had the massage and the sugar scrub with the warm towel. That was $40 and it was a good hour long. They even have station to dry your nails so it can dry faster. Such a great place. read more

Prices are too inconsistent. One visit I pay a certain price and the next, I pay a different price for the same service. I call today and ask about the price for the services I wanted and was given a price way higher than I usually pay. $25 for a fill in with regular polish, no shellac?!?! Why??? When the menu on your website says $17? Guaging much? No Ma'am... Looking for a new nail salon that's consistent in price. read more

I'm conflicted in the stars, just like anyone who maintains eyebrows I know what I like and I'm picky. I walked in and it was my first time there they quickly took me back. They put me in a room and began to wax my eyebrows she never closed the door which for me is a comfort thing not necessarily indicative of poor service I just do not like other customers staring at me during this process. Also I have a section in front of my eyebrow where the hair sticks straight up. I told the woman waxing I keep this and trim it. Please do not wax (it makes my eyebrow look very very spaced apart and short). She did the exact opposite she trimmed it looked at it and then waxed it off. However the wax didn't hurt, she was very friendly, did a clean up with tweezers, cleaned excess wax, and gave a little forehead massage. It was fast and very clean. Hope this helps. read more

One of the worst manicure experiences I've had in a while! Went in for sns, the woman was face timing someone on her phone the entire first 20 min. I then asked her if a color I choose was going to be clear. She reassured me it wasn't. However sure enough it was clear. She then told me that she'd try a coat or another color but if it didn't work it wasn't her fault and I'd be charged double. Long story short, after over an hour and a half- she finished while apologizing saying if I come back in two weeks she'd give me a "discount". However I left still unhappy with the current job. She did a horrible job filing, an uneven color, bumpy job, and got the sns powder on my cuticles. Waste of money and time. Would not recommend this place to anyone! read more

Came here for a powder acrylic set and pedicure after reading good reviews and I was not disappointed. The shop manager was amazing! He was very receptive to what i wanted and ended up doing my manicure and pedicure. He took his time and was so detail-oriented, something you don't usually find at nail salons in this city. I felt so comfortable the whole time and my nails turned out exactly how I wanted. If you're looking for a new salon, this is the place to go. I would suggest making an appointment ! read more

Mother's Day girls day! My mom, my younger sister and I went here Sunday for Mother's Day. Everything overall was very satisfactory. We all got Pedi's- my mom and I got shellac while my sister just got the basic nail polish (though they did put little details on her big toes free of charge). Total, we spent around $100 (prices picture uploaded!). We were all very satisfied with the outcome, no dents or smudges. Even when I bumped the shellac dryer with my wet paint the tech caught it immediately and fixed it. Pictures uploaded of my outcome- and this is a few days after! Recommendations? Make an appointment. Even though there wasn't a huge group of people waiting when we arrived, we were able to be seated before everyone else since we called ahead to schedule our appointments. Oh Henry! I have literally found a hidden Jewel. After many months of looking for the right nail tech, I went to Yelp and was quite impressed by others review about Henry. He's professional, thorough, and gentle. I having been doing the dipped powder nails for a couple of years and just had not been completely satisfied after I left the nail salon. I wasn't the most pleased with them. My tech then tells me that she hates the design I chose and laughs about me with the guest next to me which made me feel absolutely terrible. One of her regulars then came in towards the end of us finishing up and she began rushing even more to throw me out of the chair. I move over to get my pedicure done which went well. I notice one of the larder bumps on my nails and my new tech calls over Spring to fix it which she yanked my arm, fixed it very quickly but annoyed and pulls me down to let my finger cure with my toe nails and tell me "look exercise". Just left this place and Absolutely loved it. I have never been 100% satisfied with a nail salon before, there has always just been something I never liked the way my nails or toes would come out and guys trust me, I have tried more than a handful of salons and I've always just wanted to find a least one decent place. This place exceeded my expectations. I have finally found my go to place instead of just going to wherever was convenient enough for me. A lady did my toes (didn't catch her name) and took her time, everything about my pedicure was a perfect experience and my shellac toes came out perfect with no complaints. Henry did my nails and also did not disappointment. He has a great sense of humor, takes his time, gives you exactly what you want, and makes sure they are perfect. I was a walk in client, without an appointment, looking to have a pedicure and ombré manicure. I'm new to the area, and was not satisfied with the services I received at another nail spa in town. Henry looked at my nails, recognized a neutral ombré had been poorly attempted and assured me he could achieve the look with better results. Henry did a fantastic job! He will be my nail technician from now on and I'm recommending him and his shop to anyone who desires a great nail job! Crystal performed a basic pedicure with the attention to detail I desire. I absolutely love U.S. Nails in New Braunfels! Henry and his wife Tracy are incredibly sweet, and their attention to detail is unmatched. Henry's work is always impeccable - he really takes his time to ensure everything is perfect, checking in throughout the appointment to make sure you're happy with the color, shape, and overall look. They also offer stunning chrome and cat eye style nails, which are ipopular services right now! The salon is cozy and intimate, usually just the two of them working. However, on weekends, they bring in additional staff from Houston to help, which is great when they're especially busy. I am new to town and my girls and I desperately needed a mani' pedi before school started. We went in to US Nails on a Sunday afternoon and were not done until almost 6:30. Only to find out they closed at 5! I had no idea and was so embarrassed but they were so nice and took their time and didn't rush or mention that we had kept them past business hours. Our nails turn out beautiful and it was one of the most relaxing pedis I have ever had. Of course I tipped them well for their trouble and I was so happy I will be a regular customer! read more

My sister highly recommend this salon to me so I came by for a mani/pedi. Henry did an amazing job making my finger nails look just like the pintrest pic I showed him. I requested ombre french manicure on my natural nails. He suggested glitter white on the tops & nailed it. Lady named Ren did my pedi. Pedicure I chose was not the cheapest but well worth it. Ask for the pearl spa pedi & you might fall asleep during the massage! Yes I'll be coming back. All the pedicure chairs are full now so I guess I'm not alone!! read more

This place is excellent! I was a walk-in and was asked politely if I could come back in an hour, but I opted just to wait it out instead. They brought me a drink and some nail samples to browse, and I probably only waited 20 min--they are very efficient! I had a bad nail job from somewhere else, and they beyond fixed it--I'm so happy with how beautiful my nails turned out! I will for sure be back--this is my new nail spot. The people here are very nice and polite. I got a full set of acrylic nails from Henry and they not only looked great, but lasted longer than any acrylics I have had before. Usually when they grow out and I need a fill the base chips and lifts to where it catches my hair. This didn't happen at US Nails and I'm very happy with the results! I also got the basic pedicure and it was great! Will definitely be coming back! read more

My nails are already catching my hair and it hasn't been a full 24 hours. The nails themselves look horrible and just were very rushed. Left over nail polish on my fingers and now I have them catching my hair, why do I waste money on nails anymore when I can never find a good place to go to. 50 dollars for a set of nails that is going to annoy me until I get them redone. Henry is amazing at what he does. This is now the fourth time I'm going to him for my acrylics and he is always up for a challenge. From different shapes that I want almost every time always getting them just perfect with color he knows what he's doing. I've been here a few times. I absolutely love this place!! I haven't had a problem with my nails at all. I was worried, due to a few previous posts. I've only had shellac done on my nails. I haven't tried a pedicure here yet. I would highly recommend trying them out. read more

I sat down and the nail technician "Jade" asked what shape I wanted, I let her know, I also let her know that I wanted them short. "Jade" asked if I liked the shape and length, I pointed out to her that the middle finger was way longer than my other nails, she said it had something to do with my nail bed, it clearly did not, all she had to do was cut it down, she reluctantly agreed. Then she slopped the acrylic on, it was thick, I asked her to make them thinner, she also blamed the thickness on my nail bed. Finally I told her I do not like the shape, they looked like a big wide blob on my fingers. She yelled something in her language, two women came running from the back as if they were going to attack or at least try to intimidate me into liking the nails how "Jade" did them. I explained what I did not like, and asked for more filing, the one lady did a couple of swipes with the file, smiled and asked if I liked. I told her no, I do not like this shape or thickness, "Jade" was standing behind her squawking in her language and making a face, I told her it's not personal, not to have her feelings hurt, this was just not how I wanted my nails. The other lady told me that "Jade" has a language barrier, when she definitely was able to understand me enough to argue and tell me it's my nail beds. I felt at that point I had no choice but to continue on with "Jades" poor workmanship. I was charged $55 for nails I had to go home and file down myself, this place is horrible, I guess they do not care about having repeat customers, because I will never go back. To the owner/managers response: PLEASE roll back the entire visit!! My description is 100% accurate! Please include the way you and your staff rushed up on me to defend the horrible work "Jade" did on my nails. The photo is exactly how I left yesterday, they are horrible! I wish I would have read the reviews before coming to your establishment, they are very enlightening, and accurate! "Jade" is described as rude, which is also very accurate! So please miss me with all of the BS, shame on you for running a place like this, I really hope more people read the reviews and make the smart decision to keep driving to another establishment. They just simply say no not told that they're gonna do something else or just go ahead and do it without the approval. This is incredibly frustrating because the cost of a acrylic full set of manicure versus a gel polish is much more expensive and I refuse to take them back here again and I hope that nobody else goes back there until they change their ways. This is unacceptable.

Breaking skin during a foot treatment is a major sanitation concern. * Horrible Gel Application: I paid an extra $20 for gel polish that looks like it was done in the dark. It's thick, lumpy, streaky, and full of texture because it was slapped on in globby layers instead of clean coats. * Flooded Cuticles: Instead of clean edges, the polish ran all over my skin leaving a jagged, messy undone border around every single nail. Charging full price (plus upgrades) to cut a client and hand them a ruined paint job is completely unprofessional. Avoid this place at all costs they up charge and the quality of the service is poor.
