Stopped by here for lunch on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. My friend and I got the bread bowl soup and salad deal. I'm not usually a soup lover but their soup of the day, potato white chicken chili was so good! It was seasoned to perfection and the bread that it came in was so fresh tasting I'll definitely come back again for that soup again just for that soup alone but am excited to try their other stuff on the menu. We were using them to cater a wedding.The owner of the bakery forgot about appointments that he had made with us,we came from West Jordan for an appointment and he forgot we were coming and wasn't there. No one else could help us because the owner does all of the weddings.He wouldn't return e-mails. In fact, we placed an order with him by e-mail and he "lost the order". Very difficult to work with.One week before the wedding we had to scramble to come up with another option because this bakery was so unreliable. Cute little shop with many options for delicious desserts and also take home goodies. I always look online to see what my options are before going in. On their website, they have all their prices for their product and also pictures of everything they sell!! I got the Oreo doughnut and it was very good. This is the BEST bakery in town! They have all the best doughnuts of every flavor imaginable! Oreo, Maple Nut, the regular flavors, etc. They have flavors for every person! But don't forget their crepes! I have not found a good crepe place UNTIl I came here! They are warm and freshly made just for you. Also, they have amazing different types so you can eat whatever your mood is in! This is my professional review. The Avenue Bakery is a cute relaxing hometown bakery tucked just off main street in American Fork. They have something for everyone. Our staff goes there for lunch a few times per week. It's also a nice place to go to take your wife or kids for breakfast on Saturday morning without all the hustle and bustle of the franchise pancake houses. The owner is a great guy and the staff is very courteous. Tip: Ask for the white chicken chili soup with sour dough bread. It's fantastic! read more

This place is heaven. You can smell the doughnuts before you even walk inside. They have all kinds of baked goods.. crepes, cupcakes, bread, pastries, cheesecakes, sandwiches, (even soup and salads!)... you name it! Great prices and gluten free options! Yum! I just tried the Samoa Donut at The Avenue Bakery and it was great! Really this is a fantastic place to get snacks and pastries. Very affordable price and everything is always fresh. They make their bread daily so it is always the best. There is a wide selection of goods available for whatever you might be craving at the time. The owner of the shop is really great. The best donut was the pecan cinnamon roll. The prices are good, the food's good, and they were even helpful to people who have a gluten intolerance.
