Had all 4 Wisdom molars removed at 46yrs old, 2 standard extraction and 2 lower had to be surgically removed from a Professional Dental Surgeon and her name was Dr Edith. (Amazing Work)Everything went perfect, with very little to no discomfort and I was up and running the next day like nothing ever happened. I highly recommend the Dental office of Dr Ignacio De La Vega and his staff. Everybody there is so kind and they treat you very well and they all show that LOVE what they do. Their office is close to Hotels and parking structures and pharmacies.( They speak English as well) Thank you Dr. De La Vega and my Surgeon Dr. Edith and also a personal thank you to Karina the Receptionist and all of the kind staff for your professional service. They fit me in for three 2.5 hour appts to fix 8 teeth and extract 1 in the only 2 days I had!?! High quality organic sanitation products and resin to rebuild my teeth to look completely natural imported from Japan . Eileen is an absolute artist who loves fashioning broken destroyed teeth into looking whole and new. The polishing paste even has diamond dust in it! Dr. Hugo is a wonderful human being who was as gentle as possible considering I have unusual excess bone and extra roots to navigate. It was easily 1/4th of the price I would've paid in the United States . Approximately $50-$80 per tooth depending on the severity and extra steps needed. I was prepared to pay for whitening but just that diamond paste lightened my teeth up three shades for no extra cost. No matter who you go to , I'd recommend bringing sunglasses and headphones. They also didn't mind that I brought my own blanket. These three things help me with my anxiety, Comfort to tune out the bright light and noise. I'm going back for implants. I've been to other dentists in the US and Mexico but Baja dental is hands-down the best choice. They truly did give me my smile back.

After my dentist retired, we had a little global pandemic, and then things got busy and ... in 2026 I brought them a mouth some California dentists wouldn't touch without hundreds of dollars in X-ray and lab fees up front. Then wouldn't touch. ​ In two days of care, they replaced a complex crown, did four quadrants of deep cleaning, and filled an embarrassing number of cavities. I paid about two and a half Gs for what I was quoted elsewhere for between $6K and $10K. This is dental work under local anesthesia, so some pain from numbing is expected. They have a deal with a chain hotel in easy walking distance that has an included breakfast with soft foods and a UV water dispenser on every floor. From my initial contact on WhatsApp, to their offer to Uber me to the office, to patient intake and detailed assessment including head CTs (!), 3D modeling (!!!), photography of teeth and individual tooth x-rays, and the competence of the clinical team... I don't believe this level of dental care is available in Estados Unidos. If I have a friend who needs dental care, I will cheerfully refer them here. Note: WhatsApp and Uber are essential tools in Tijuana.​

I was looking through my insurance website trying to find another periodontist to get a second opinion and saw ADC listed in Tijuana. Knowing that my insurance company would not have a shady outfit approved on their network, I contacted ADC and made an appointment. I have had fillings and minor dental work done in Mexico over the years, but was nervous about having actual surgery down there. I shouldn't have worried - the facilities at ADC were cleaner and more modern than any dentist in the USA. All the instruments came right out of sterile autoclave packets and the imaging equipment was state of the art. There is a paid parking lot next door. Dr. Ahumada was a joy to work with - very knowledgeable and professional. The surgery sucked, but she made it as comfortable as she could. The receptionist speaks good English. My out of pocket expenses, including a trip to the pharmacy was under $700. ADC saved me $500 and Dr. Ahumada could not be beat. Very highly recommended.
