I had placed an online order for 3:25 so I could run in and grab food on my way to an appointment, as I arrived I wasn't greeted nor was my food ready. I ended up waiting an extra 15 min while 2 other customer were able to get their mobile orders promptly. I ended being late thanks to this inconvenience. The customer service was awful as I grabbed my order the team member proceeded to slam my food on the counter and offer no greeting or even eye contact. She seemed irritated that I could barely hear my name being called over the extra loud sound of music in the restaurant. Definitely won't be coming back here anymore as the mobile order option is pointless and the workers who won't even greet nor want to help you out have sealed the deal.

The QR code was for a Free Entree w/ purchase once the restaurant opens. Not one to pass up free food, I made sure to use my phone to scan & sign up. Once open, I was ready to check out Mendocino Farms for the first time. The menu at Mendocino Farms consists primarily of sandwiches, salads & soup. After a quick perusal, I thought the Peruvian Steak sandwich best whet my appetite. Peruvian Steak sandwich- Spicy aji amarillo marinated steak with Oaxacan cheese, herb aioli, red onions, tomatoes, shredded romaine on a toasted potato roll. I quite liked this. Tender steak, with fatty cheese. The vegetables provided contrast & texture. For my purchase, I went with a side of Southern Potato Salad. It was good, but similar to grocery deli potato salad. In hindsight, I should've purchased avocado added to my Peruvian Steak sandwich. Service was excellent. All hands were on deck, as Mendocino Farms opened only a few days prior. Each employee had a name badge, specifying their name & which entree was their favorite, helping indecisive customers choose what to get. Plenty of seating indoors & al fresco. Parking is at LBX, with Mendocino Farms being across Georgia's and facing the Hangar at LBX. I found the Peruvian Steak sandwich delicious, yet meager in quantity, considering the regular price. It's more of a substantial snack, than a full meal, in my case. However, it's great to have another quality food option in the area, and I look forward to coming back & exploring the rest of menu.

I stopped by for some lonche & I ordered their salmon bowl, hold the edamame. It comes with a piece of focaccia that I assumed was their signature thing .... But it was not that great. I think it is way too doughy compared to typical focaccia. I like my focaccia airy, with some bounce. This one was like a dense bread. Definitely not my forte for having focaccia. You're able to see in my attached photo just how thick and dense it looks. The salmon bowl itself was pretty refreshing. I think the dresssingggg was perfectly tailored to the bowl. Not too acidic, not too sweet, not too salty. It dressed the bowl up real nice. The salmon was tender, nicely cooked, not chewy-- I hate when I get cheewwwyyy salmon I want fish not gum. The rice and sweet potatoes were perfect! Absolutely a nice bed made for the salmon to lay on. I tried the Shirley temple it's way too sweet, more grenadine than anythang. I just optd for half unsweetened tea & half of their lemonade. It was average. The cranberry cookie was pretty good! Not something I usually lean towards but I was wowd to taste how good it was. Cranberry gave it that nice kick of tang on your tongue. Service was friendly, I ordered through the kiosk screen. It's clean inside and in the restroom as well. Plenty of parking in the plaza.

My boyfriend ordered the chicken kebab plate, which he thought was decent--about a 3 out of 5. The falafel was mediocre and forgettable. I ordered the beef kafta and gyro combo plate. We initially ordered it to go, but once a seat opened up, I stayed to eat there. Because the food had already been packed, the pita bread was completely soggy from being trapped in the container with the hot beef kafta. The kafta itself looked and tasted like boiled meat--no char, no grill flavor at all. Good thing I checked the order, because they forgot to include the gyro meat, and I had to wait for them to correct it. Unfortunately, the gyro wasn't worth the wait. It looked pre-cooked with fillers, tasted oily, and didn't seem fresh. The grilled vegetable side looked like frozen vegetables quickly sautéed, with very little flavor. There's also very limited seating, and the food took a long time to come out despite the place not being busy. Another small but frustrating detail: there's no easily accessible trash can inside, and you have to go outside the restaurant to throw anything away. Overall, this was a disappointing experience. I really wanted to support a local business, but between the long wait, missing items, and poor food quality, we won't be going back.
