I wanted a compact or econo car so I wouldn't have to pay for a lot of gas. However, they had literally no cars so I ended up with a BMW SUV. While some people might be excited by that, the gas mileage for this vehicle is terrible. Also, if I need to rent beyond what my insurance covers I'll have to pay a much higher rate than the vehicle I wanted, which is annoying. I booked a car in advance weeks ago so I would have assumed they would have had the option I asked for available, but they didn't. That said, the employees here are nice, the space is clean, and the car I got is spotless and looks lovely. They didn't give me many extra charges other than gas and didn't give me a hard sell on the random additional things they offer (like more insurance or satellite radio) which I appreciated. Overall, I would use them again.

Awesome that their rental counter is located in baggage claim. No need for shuttles or trams to an offsite location. We were greeted by Megan and she found our reservation. For our brief stay in Boise, we got a nice Hyundai Sonata. We did the option to return the vehicle with a full tank and it was very, very inexpensive to fill it at $3.15 a gallon! There is currently construction going on around the structure where the vehicles enter and exit but, all was fine. When we returned the vehicle Megan was actually outside in the lot to assist us with the return. She is enthusiastic and helpful. Just awesome. Would definitely go with Enterprise again. 4 stars!

We had checked in online to avoid the hoopla & usually, with that, it's skip the desk just keys and go. Here, the desk is where you do everything, so, regular line & we were asked the same check in questions again (fuell, insurance and one more push for upgrade). The process was still quick & painless. The exit to pick up the cars was different- it felt like you were using an employee exit. The lot is a standard parking lot, accessible by anyone (no strips/ gate & there's construction going on. Return is the same. We dropped off & went directly inside to pick up a 1way rental to Spokane, d/t a flight issue. This was a close in rental, so, no option to check in online. This didn't really impact checkl in - same questions, just add initials & sign... took maybe an extra minute.We waited over an hour in line. There were 2 staff working the desk and there was an angry patron on the side, demanding a manager (loudly) as well as someone doing what appeared to be a long term rental. Those 2 clients took quite some time. Staff remained friendly throughout & were apologetic for the long wait. The 3 checking before us, & ours, were handled quickly & we made it to Spokane.

So I was surprised by the total after adding the maximum liability insurances, fees, and deposits over $300 ($200 regular deposit plus $140 gas deposit if car isn't returned with a full tank). It made the bill considerably higher and I called my husband after I saw the charge and the front desk clerk graciously explained all the charges. I didn't realize it would be as much, so I guess next time we're in Boise, we know to have $1,000 available for the car rental pending charge, even if the actual car is only $200-$300 for the 4 days. By the way, the car is beautiful and is a nicely sized Genesis sedan. My husband really enjoys driving it and is having a nice time on his trip. He called in prior to arriving and asked for a vehicle with a spare, which this did have and he aired it up just to be safe. The entire staff was available to talk and very helpful. I think if we asked ahead about the fees, we would have been better prepared. I have heard Boise is expensive, so maybe this is one of those examples.

I went back to address the price discrepancy and the workers were beyond disrespectful and took no accountability for adjusting price without communicating the change to me at checkout. I then sat there for several more minutes until my exact checkout time hit on the clock so I could get my car at the price I signed in the contract. In addition to the horrible customer service, they don't have a selection of cars to choose from at pick up for President Circle members, and they're are all very basic and seemingly old vehicles. My assigned car was a Toyota sedan without Sirius XM. The one good thing was that the cars were onsite at the airport, so the pick up and drop off was quite easy without having to shuttle anywhere. Though I will maintain my Hertz loyalty because my experience is much better elsewhere, I wouldn't rent from this location.l again.

Returning the car DO NOT GO TO THE AIRPORT. Instead go down Wright St. it is not well marked. Then you pass an employee parking lot and further down turn left into the car rental return area.
