Oh my gosh all the flavors! It was like an explosion in my mouth. The food was so yummy and stayed warm despite ordering through DoorDash. They got to work on my food almost immediately and it was crazy how quickly it got ready. They provided all the utensils and the food was well kept, didn't move around at all. I will say, the only reason I knocked down a star was the price. $18 for a sandwich or bowl of hummus and falafel does seem a bit much for me, not matter how good it tastes. But in all fairness, aside from the price point I would probably return. read more

Get one of the hummus sandwiches. The Sabich is filling and the hummus is so creamy. The taste and service is above average for Seattle. Sat down a table of 6 on a Friday evening easily. The food's pretty good. I ordered two pitas (which were so soft and pillowy) and three sides. The Gargirim was blander than I'd thought it would taste - almost like plain soybeans. The shakshuka was good - I thought the tomato base was a bit chunkier than I'd like but still had good flavors. The babaganoosh was my favorite. I think the texture was chunkier than usual too but enjoyed the tanginess. I had some of my friend's hummus - the portions are generous! It's thick and creamy. Ok if you love a great assortment of vegetarian delights, hummus and eggplant wrap was amazing

It's very good, but I don't recommend ordering it via Uber eats. The lid slid off en route, the hummus spilled out in the bag and was a bit of a mess when it got to me. And the Uber fees are a bit much. But the hummus is nice and creamy, eggplant dip perfectly smoky. Kruv cabbage wasn't as pickled as I expected and is on the small side, but good if you want some crunch. Recommend going to the place and eating there. read more

I don't know how to begin, but I haven't had this kind of food to palette experience in a while. I ordered their Sabich sandwich (with an extra falafel). It felt like the best thing I've ever tasted in my life. Their fried eggplant was mildly crisped, yet so soft they just melt in the mouth. The amba and tahini sauce made the difference - so flavorful and blends well together. I am a hummus fan so I love that I can also taste the hummus in certain bites without the sauce on it. That soft boiled egg just adds a bonus to the texture of that sandwich. Portion...it was just right. A big sandwich, but did not make me feel stuffed afterwards. It was truly an emotional experience. It was as delicious as I remembered. The sandwich is presented on a stand; I had forgotten how heavy it was because of everything in it. I couldn't eat it all at one sitting. The Kruv, their beautiful crunchy red cabbage that we had as a side dish, was as beautiful as it was tasty. This place is quite yummy. The pita is amazing - my family sometimes detours just to pick some up for the week. My favorite hummus is the hummus basar (which has ground beef in it). A lot of people really like the hummus pitroit (which has mushrooms). I love falafel in general, and this isn't my favorite. It has a lot of (seemingly unnecessary) herbs and spices that distract from the classic falafel taste without adding to its flavor. That being said, I'm obsessed with this place and plan on coming back many times. read more

Stopped by this little place in Seattle on 15th because I was craving hummus and I was not disappointed. There is no parking really, as is common for most places in Seattle, so your best bet OSS to park on the street or to stop at a party for park somewhere. There is a smaller parking lot across from the hospital a few blocks up that is not too expensive for the area. The exterior and interior of the location look old and worn. I wouldn't say it feels like you are transported to a different place of that it has a vibe. But it's cozy inside. It has an exposed kitchen and bar and the staff are casually dressed and friendly. We were greeted right away, seated and the food service was quick. There is a restroom there with a code, but I wouldn't say the set up is child friendly. The menu is brief and mostly vegetarian, the only meat was a beef hummus. The rest is all hummus and two sandwich options and a bunch of sides that you can enjoy with pita. Pricing was towards the lower average and the portion sizes were fairly small for the sides, but large for the sandwiches and hummus. I recommend getting extra pita. The food was delicious. I don't think we ate anything we didn't enjoy. This is definitely a top lunch spot when you're craving a messy eggplant sandwich for sure read more

Cute middle eastern restaurant in Cap Hill. I arrived around 6 pm on Sunday and there was plenty of seating. I've been looking forward to trying this place since I haven't had hummus as a full meal before. I ordered the Hummus Basar, which totaled to about $20. The hummus was very creamy and light, and the beef and pita complemented it well. I ended up taking home leftovers, which was a pleasant surprise because the portion was bigger than I thought! I'd recommend this place to groups of up to 4 people. There isn't a lot of street parking, so light rail or take rideshare if you can. read more

Aviv is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle, although it's more expensive than I'd like. The hummus with falafel is consistently good. I'd highly recommend getting it with the amba (tangy mango sauce). The ice kaffe is also good. it's like a vanilla latte-flavored slush. They used to give out a small plate of appetizers but unfortunately it seems they stopped that. read more

Our kind server walked us through the menu, answering all of our questions with contagious enthusiasm about each of the items discussed. The space is bright and cozy on a sunny day. Our visit was a few months ago but I still remember winding our way through many fun textures and flavors! Creamy hummus, satisfyingly crunchy tomato cucumber salad, and a dense green spicy sauce on the side. I ordered the hummus basar which comes with shawarma style ground beef and a pita on the side. The hummus tasted ok but thought the pita while nice and thick, was a little too light and fluffy, almost too moist and wished it had more dense chewiness like what I had in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The real killer was paying $18 for what was essentially appetizer portions before tax and a 10% service charge tacked on. I really like going there and i would recommend going there, but the one problem i have is that it is very expensive to buy the food there. WOW the hummus and pita here was unbeatable!! I've eaten a lot of Mediterranean food in my life but I've never had such fluffy, creamy hummus and such soft pita bread. Even the tahini, which is usually drippy at other restaurants, was quite thick and dense in texture. I got the mushroom hummus and falafel plate, both were super tasty! The interior was so cute and chickpea themed. The walls have chickpea drawings and each table has a glass filled with dried chickpeas. Service was fast and the folks were friendly. Finally made it to this little outpost of Israeli cuisine in Seattle. I love the unassuming "hole-in-the-wall" nature of this place that nevertheless packs a serious punch when it comes to food. Both the hummus shakshuka and the masabacha that I stole from my friend's plate were delicious, and the malabi dessert satisfied the craving for something sweet and light.
