    Kielbasa and eggs

Excellent breakfast food. Especially the Vermont Omelette and the Kielbasa and eggs. Substitution to my omelette (onions instead of mushrooms...I don't eat mushrooms) made without incident) Fast friendly waitresses that appear to take your order on iPads and your "bill" is always presented in a 6x9 leather folder They do have sweatshirts for sale. Asked for a T-Shirt or Baseball Cap with the logo...but no luck at this time. I can't really use a sweatshirt at work, but in a building with 1000 people...if I had a hat or T-shirt with the logo I might be able to influence more business their way

My bf and I were in the area and decided to check this place out for breakfast. We arrived around 10 am on a Saturday morning to a packed and busy restaurant but were lucky enough to get the last two spots at the counter. We perused the menu that was given to us when seated, and decided upon our meals fairly quickly. A few minutes passed and our server took our orders. Kielbasa, scrambled egg whites with cheese and home fries for me. French toast and a side of corned beef hash for my bf. It took some time for the food to come out, in their defense it was BUSY. When my meal arrived, I noticed the cheese missing from my eggs. I'm not one to send food back so I just asked for a slice to be placed on the eggs. We both founds our meals to be pretty good. And the service to be great. I can see myself returning to try some more menu items.

It's been 10 years since I've been going to this place and first reviewed it. It's now our go to place in town. Outdoor seating overlooking Heublein Tower? Yes please. And while indoors is more functional, the counter is perfect for just sitting, getting a cup of coffee and waiting for breakfast perfection to come. This place is a well oiled machine now. Servers take the orders on a tablet. The kitchen isn't big but churns out orders as quickly as they can. Each one is really great. The menu has a little something for everyone. I loved the Irish Benedict with their corned beef hash. So good. The eggs were cooked perfectly for that just runny enough enjoyment. The pancakes are huge and filling. Enough said on that. Can't go wrong there. But I keep coming back to the people that run this place and staff. You can tell they all love working there and that everyone has a good rapport. ACD is the place to be in the Valley. Don't miss it.

Just not as good as we remembered...self serve coffee, water, OJ, seemingly rude service too. We called ahead to check for a table for two on Sunday 9/17/23 and there was no issue and plenty of open tables. We said good morning multiple times to our servers who delayed approaching us for 6-7 minutes and jumping right to... "What do you want?" "Well....can we start with some coffee?...yeah it's over there, do you know what you want to eat?" Keep in mind this is the first human interaction we've had ..Blueberry pancakes ..Breakfast burrito Long time later... Arrived Good but no seasoning on the burrito Pancakes looked good but overcooked, fry, frozen blueberries still cold in middle Still gave 20% but felt not the same cute Sunday spot we remembered on a slow, enjoyable, fun, Sunday

Super friendly staff and fast service even during the busy weekend brunch rush. Tons of tasty menu options and they accommodated our special requests without batting an eye. My husband had the hangers, bangers and eggs (o my!) and loved every bite. He also ordered a muffin on the side which they warmed on the griddle for him. Delish! My daughter devoured her cinnamon roll pancakes, and they were able to make an egg white omelet with spinach for me and swapped the standard Resolution omelet fillings (mushrooms and peppers) for tomato and feta. Coffee is self serve, which was fine with us. Decent coffee and lots of flavor options! We'll be back again soon!

Amazing little local spot for a sit down breakfast. It can be pretty busy on the weekend, but it's the perfect place for a relaxed, delicious weekday breakfast. Very well priced menu and in a nice area with lots of parking.

The outdoor patio seating was just perfect in this beautiful sunny day. Nice view. The waitresses were very good. Very nice. The omelet was delicious. Potatoes were good. Seasoned just enough. Toast aas not as warm as i would have liked. Therefore the butter did not melt.

I am a huge breakfast person and can be a tough critic, but this place was just amazing. The home fries were the best I've ever had!

Friendly, quick, beautiful spot, and great selection. Pastries and other goodies (including many drinks) available to grab and go. Had an omelette with veggies and homefries. Will be back!

That's because when you pull into the shopping plaza.....you don't see it. But if you circle around to the right, you'll see it on the side of the strip mall's buildings. And trust me, this spot is definitely worth hunting down to experience a standout breakfast or lunch. We walked in a little before 1:00 yesterday and found a table for two in the back left corner of the dining room, so we had a good view of the entire room. I have to tell ya, the place was packed! Breakaway closes at 3:00 every day except Sunday (2:00), and there were breakfast and lunch menus out, plus a few daily specials. My wife went with a "William's Ham Panini" ($17) with thin sliced ham, bacon, caramelized onions, cheddar and honey mustard on a grilled panini. We both were struck at how much ham was piled onto her sandwich. She had a few choices for a side dish and put her nickel down on potato salad. I went with The JT Salad ($16). The menu says it's been their "best-selling salad 25 years and counting". It was a big portion of mixed greens served with house balsamic dressing, grape tomatoes, gorgonzola cheese, and grilled chunks of teriyaki glazed chicken breast. It was stellar, with plenty of that yummy cheese and chicken. The only sour note with our lunch was a rather steep $4.25 for a glass of iced tea that was half-filled with ice. The food was very good and a decent amount of leftovers came home with us for another day. I was unexpectedly impressed by how crowded Bistro was on a random Monday. I bet you'll be too.

These days it's hard to find a cafe that isn't overpriced and better than just average. But Toasted Oat hits the high points of quality of cook on the food, even if the ingredients may not all be top notch. They have breakfast sandwiches, bowls and scrambles, as well as regular sandwiches, salads and burritos. We enjoyed the regular breakfast sandwich with spinach and cheese (subbed the meat but wish the spinach had been cooked in - $7) and the breakfast scramble which included 2 eggs, 3 veggies, cheese, protein all mixed/cut up together, as well as hash brown (didn't exactly look homemade?) and toast ($11). Everything was served in to-go containers so the looks weren't the best but makes sense given the place and that most people probably don't dine in. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Everything takes time to come out so you know it's done to order. They also have some coffee and tea. They had a few coffee cake items in a glass display but didn't look homemade either. It feels like a cafe should have more selection of pastries but again bother me. Service was friendly and patient. The actual location isn't that great visually either. There is one longer table and a few smaller ones, but it's not a big place and not decorated to impress (fine by me!) It is located in a small nondescript plaza with an Indian market. Small parking lot. Wish this small business well!

My brunch buddy and I had to make a last minute change of plans, so we landed at Toasted OAT today for breakfast. There are a few tables in a roped off section of the parking lot to eat outside. Inside, there's a long table in the middle, 3 smaller tables on the left, and a bar at the window. We had no problem getting a seat, but it seems like it's more of a take-and-go place than a destination to eat. There are a lot of customizations you can make to your food order, which is more easily done in their online ordering system--but there's a $1.95 service fee to use it. My friend and I made our decisions based off of that system but ordered at the counter. While there are a lot of breakfast and lunch options, there aren't many beverages. Coffee, hot chocolate, and tea are the mainstays for warm beverages, and all cold beverages other than cold brew coffee are prepackaged bottles in a cooler and run just short of $4. Every order, whether it's take-out or eat-in, is served in disposable packaging with disposable utensils. I ordered the Reuben bowl without eggs and a side waffle with syrup. Kind of love that I could get a side waffle. It took a while for the food to come out. It felt longer than it should have been for how few people were there, but I didn't time it. My waffle was cold. The tator tots in the Reuben bowl, however, were cooked perfectly, as were my friend's hash browns. Everything tasted great. If you're looking for the picturesque weekend brunch experience, this isn't it. But if you want a quick bite that's well made with quality ingredients and no-fuss beverages, you'll be very happy here. Even more so if you want to take it on the go.

First off, it's definitely one of those small, tucked-away spots you could easily miss if you didn't know it was there, but once you walk in, the decor is so cute. Think cozy, shabby chic vibes that make it feel warm and welcoming right away. The standout for me? The dinner roll. Honestly, one of the best I've ever had. It was dense, rich, and satisfying, not your typical light, airy Kaiser roll. It reminded me more of a Jamaican hard dough bread in texture and weight, which I personally loved. Super flavorful and filling. I was also really happy about their buy three, get one free promotion. It made it easy to try a few different things without feeling like I was overdoing it. As for the pastries, I tried the cinnamon roll and carrot cake. I didn't finish either, but the carrot cake definitely gave true homemade vibes. It had coconut mixed in, wasn't overly sweet, and felt more traditional than indulgent. If you like a less sugary, more classic-style carrot cake, you'll probably appreciate it. Overall, this bakery is worth a stop, especially if you're exploring the pastry trail. Not everything wowed me, but there were definitely some highlights that made it a good visit.

This was our first private visit as a family, celebrating our daughter's graduation, and unfortunately it was an extremely disappointing experience. The atmosphere was pleasant and the food itself was good, but the service was unacceptable and, at times, offensive. We mentioned the graduation in our reservation, yet nobody at the restaurant acknowledged the occasion in any way. We were given two bread rolls upon being seated, and then waited approximately 30 minutes for our appetizers. After that, we waited another full hour for our main courses. What made the situation particularly frustrating was the complete lack of communication. No one came to update us about the delay or offer additional bread. We had to ask for water ourselves. Our daughter did not order an appetizer and spent the entire time waiting hungry. When the food finally arrived, nobody apologized for the excessive delay. The most troubling part of the evening occurred when I noticed that my rice seemed cold. I politely asked whether it was intended to be served that way or whether it had become cold during the unusually long wait. The waitress took my plate away, even though I had already started eating. Five minutes later, she returned with what appeared to be the exact same plate, including the same partially eaten rice, and informed me that the chef said it was served that way by design. This raised an obvious question: what happened to my food during those five minutes? Was it examined? Was it tasted? Bringing back a plate containing partially eaten food is simply unacceptable and unsanitary. If the waitress needed to consult the chef, she could have returned with the answer without removing the plate, or the chef could have come to our table to explain the dish. What should have been a special family celebration became a deeply disappointing experience. Given our previous positive experiences with this restaurant, the contrast was particularly striking.
