I loved my visit to Blossom café a few weeks ago. The mint lemonade was fresh & the perfect type of mint (slightly muggy, not too minty or earthy). The scallion pancake sandwich was great and came with a side. I felt it didnt need the chili oil cups and would have preferred to have soy or ponzu on the side. Indoors the ambiance is wonderful. It looks like they have an outdoors porch but I didnt ask if it was open. I would reccomend Blossom Café to anyone looking for a breakfast with a beautiful atmosphere and fun menu items. I hope to return for their soufflé pancakes.

This place is a breath of fresh air for the CT brunch scene, vibrant Asian-fusion flavors and a stunning, plant-filled aesthetic. It's THE spot for those craving pillowy Japanese Soufflé Pancakes aka Hottokeki or a savory Korean Egg Drop sandwich, paired with expertly crafted strawberry field matcha. My favorite however was the katsu chicken over rice.. incredible flavors, the breading on the chicken was crisp. I'd come back just for that and probably try the Hong Kong toast next time. Service was great, a must-visit for foodies and social media fans .

This place hits all the marks! Absolutely perfect decor, parking available behind the restaurant or on the street, super friendly service, good drinks, and great food. Started with a lychee mocktail that was just the right amount of sweet, hubs had a hot tea (authentic cast iron tea pots). We got two orders of the Japanese soufflé pancakes that are only available on weekends - ube and strawberry. And we split an egg tomato cheddar arugula sandwich with lotus chips side. They did a great job by splitting the sandwich and chips for us without asking and gave us extra plates for the pancakes so we could sample each others. This is an hour drive for us but it was 100 worth it.

Having recently been to Japan, we were happy to go to a place that serves some of the food we fell in love with! We had to get the souffle pancakes-- only 2 (vs 3 in Japan) but flavor is similar! Also had the karrage chicken and waffles-- chicken has the flavor i was hoping for and waffles were okay. Korean egg drop sando was ok but a bit too pricey for what you got. Lotus root chips were nice! Overall, food is good. Ambiance is nice. Restaurant is clean and service is good!

Cute, cute, cute!!!! Wasn't sure what to expect for a brunch time slot, but it was delicious. Went pretty basic with a coffee and it outdid itself with a cute cup and saucer. Ordered the Karaage and Waffles and they were soooo good. Laural was our server, very prompt, polite and good.

Made a reservation for my friends birthday, had an amazing experience and the food was great! Seated us in a beautiful spot in the cafe, and presented my friends pancakes with a candle!

The service was good, the ambiance is beautiful, modern and cozy feel. The food was pretty good, really enjoyed the kimchi cucumber it added a lil pop to my dish, the bulgogi was flavorful, in my opinion. If you haven't been you should deff give them a try.

Tucked away from street view, this place is a little gem and adds personality to town We arrived early on a Sunday morning for breakfast and were instantly welcomed by the bright and modern interior. They have a selection of Asian inspired items like bulgogi, karrage chicken with waffles, lotus root chips (yum) and Japanese souffle pancakes, along with egg sandwiches and breakfast platters. Portions are regular sized and you won't be stuffed afterwards unless you have a small appetite. While i would summarize the food as good but not amazing, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. And the matcha latte was unsweetened and creamy which was also a plus. Food wasn't super fast to appear but also nothing to complain about. They have a sign that you'll be limited to 90 minutes because it gets busy. Bathrooms are inside the adjoining building so you have to walk out of the restaurant space. There's parking in the back but I could see it filling up when busy. I'd definitely return! They're also next to grassroots ice cream which is another plus.

This is such a cute restaurant. Our waitstaff was so friendly and attentive. The food was awesome and they had Japanese pancakes which were amazing. They were light and fluffy and delicious

This spot has been on my got to try breakfast/brunch list for quite some time. Also love that there was plenty of free street and private lot parking. It is a lot larger on the inside than I expected. We were seated in the quieter of the two dining areas. It was quite busy on a Saturday morning. There was even a sign at the door warning patrons that there was a 90 minute dining limit and reservations were encouraged. Not sure if that is just for weekends or not. I was not bothered by it and knew that just meant it has fast become a local favorite. We did not have reservations but were seated pretty quickly. Our server was very nice and attentive to our table despite being extremely busy. We decided on mocktails( which were very good), the soufflé pancakes and sides of bacon and eggs. We had a great experience and I look forward to coming back again next time I am in the area.

Find this cute cafe on a road trip to Boston. The service was good. Staff was friendly. The food was okay. Nothing so good that i would make an effort to go back. The sweet potato fries could have been fried longer. They were soggy. The chicken and waffle was good. The waffles tasted like cake. The pancake was okay. We have had better. The strawberry sauce was food. Both sandwiches were decent. I wish the lotus chips were a little thicker. Couldnt really taste the root because it was shaved so thin..just tasted the oil it was cooked in.

I came here for breakfast on a Sunday. I ordered Strawberry Matcha Soufflé Pancakes and was very happy! They were pleasantly fluffy, airy, and delicious without being overly sweet. I also ordered an iced latte that I liked, but cannot remember what kind it was. If I didn't live so far I would come here often!

The space is really cute & CLEAN! Went early in the day so opted for a hot chai instead of a cocktail. Will be back to try some more menu items. I got the Vegan Bowl with tofu, avocado & more. It was delicious and light but still left me feeling full. If anything it needed a little more salt for my taste. The staff were friendly. A nice stop for a bite to eat if you are in the area!

The Spring Rolls are eggroll wraps that are deep fried & filled with vegetables & mushrooms.) I did not try them, but I was told they were worth it, so maybe I will go back & taste test the two & give you more detail... and yes, I will be going back. All of the rolls were delicious, but my favorite was the Lobster Roll followed by the Christmas Roll. The Mango Roll was good, but I felt like it was missing something. The texture was good & it was sweet, but it wasn't until the last bite that I figured out what was off. The last piece had a larger piece of eel in it, where the rest was primarily Avocado which dulled it out. It was attractive, but the ingredients were not distributed evenly. If it had been, I bet it would have been much better. Who knew.. I'll give you all an update when I return, but in the meantime, give it a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.

The dining area is still very sparse in design and coverage. The wait staff were still apathetic, and the wait times for things is still a little long. The Korean fried chicken was very tasty, sweet and salty Korean bbq sauce on perfectly fried wings was delightful. We opted for the pho, and that was very good. The broth was rich and flavorful, no need to season it was perfect already. The brisket was tender and still had a strong brisket flavor. There was a good amount of meat to the bowl and the noodles were fresh. The noodles did clump a bit, but they easily separated when agitated. All of the sushi was not as successful. The rolls lacked any significant flavor and missed some basic elements of sushi preparation. The rice was not seasoned, was not sticky, and the fish was roughly cut. The spicy rolls lacked spice and the crunchy rolls lacked crunch. It was presented well, just didn't show the level of care the front of the menu had. We informed our server of the sushi problems and she apologized but still charged us for all the sushi. Making an otherwise great experience not so great. I would recommend those who come here to focus on the front of the menu exclusively. Those dishes are stellar and are well worth the asking price. The sushi menu on the back is basic in flavor, pricy, and only worth having if you really need sushi. It does limit their menu significantly, but the quality difference is drastic.

Kyoto... Saturday…read morenight check-in, and there were just a few patrons inside the restaurant, and takeout was slow The menu consisted of appetizers, soups, salads, ramen, hibachi, sushi, sashimi, rolls, and signature rolls Our order went in for two appetizers, one was the pan seared dumplings, and also some fried crab rangoon For the main course, my friend had the shrimp curry ramen, and I ordered a specialty roll called a momoirio roll, and an order of salmon sashimi I also ordered one of those peach ramune drinks After a short wait, the two appetizers arrived. The pan seared dumplings were absolutely delicious, and I would definitely get again. The crab Rangoon to me was a little bit off and flavorless. Also, it wasn't deep fried enough, so it was a little bit spongy and tough, instead of crunchy on the outside with an exploding filling My friend loved the curry shrimp ramen, which had a very generous portion of shrimp included. The salmon sashimi I had appeared to have been colored a deeper hue, which tells me it was probably farm raised. It also was very oily, and very hard to pick up with the chopsticks. I had to fork it. The salmon was also room temperature, which kind of set up a little warning for me like maybe it was a gas station sushi.... I ate it. It was meh The signature roll I ordered was terrible in presentation. It looked like it was wrapped in human skin and kind of grossed me out. The signature roll also had some type of white sauce, spritzed over the top of it, which was not appealing to my eyes. Flavor wise, there was none! I could only taste cucumber. I couldn't taste the lobster, I couldn't taste any other flavors in it. There were some black stuff on top that was crunchy. I didn't know what it was. I had to go back to the menu to see the other ingredients. And as far as the white sauce... I couldn't even imagine a flavor. As for service, the server we had seemed a little bit inexperienced. When I questioned some of the items on the menu, she had no answer and she had to go get a menu to read to me what was included in it. While she kept our water glasses full, she never asked if we wanted a dessert or tea What would have been a nice touch, but missing should've been some noodles with dipping sauce. That didn't happen. Also, maybe some complementary tea while we were looking at the menu would've been nice... Other than around the checkout- pick up-workstation, this restaurant was sparse and lacking decor. It also seemed like there was a lot of wasted space Somehow, I just was expecting more like some typical and traditional Japanese style. Boy was I wrong. As far as a date night atmosphere to remember, dining here isn't it. This place could offer the town so much more, as it seems like it could be so comfortable to hang out here have a few cocktails and enjoy a nice traditional Japanese dinner. But it misses the mark. I'm so on the fence with the rating. It definitely isn't a five piece. It's not even a four star. Parking is plentiful in the plaza. For $72 with the tip, and without alcoholic beverages; I think this visit was not a value. Fair service, no ambience, very limited menu... so reluctantly I give it three stars It just seemed like I didn't feel welcomed. When leaving, I paid a little compliment to one of the young males behind the register and he just seemed to take it with a grain of salt like in one ear and out the other....not even a thank you In closing this place is best for takeout

The menu is decent, with various ramen, hibachi, sushi, and appetizers. We enjoyed the shrimp tempura, avocado, and sweet potato rolls, all with six pieces each. Of the ramen, we had the shoyu chicken, vegetarian and wonton (all tasty though more toppings would have been good especially vegetables); the wonton had a thick skin so they didn't fall apart in the broth - I liked this but others thought it was too thick. Much of the food had an unexpected sweet flavoring. We also enjoyed the seaweed salad and vegetable gyoza though the latter weren't big pieces. The packaging of the ramen was effective because the toppings were separated from the broth to prevent sogginess. The ambiance of the location feels pretty sparse with a lot of white space. No one was in the establishment when we picked up the food, given a Sunday evening and holiday. The vibe felt like more of a casual quick meal or takeout vs. someplace to linger and bask in the atmosphere. They also had a kiosk to order and pay in the store if you don't feel like talking with anyone. When ordering, we didn't create an account so didn't get a notification about when the order would be ready. But they say 20 minutes on the website and it was ready when we arrived. The plaza has Fitzgeralds, CVS and Jersey Mike's.
