The Deets: I had the chance recently to go tailgating before an ECU football game, and my friends that regularly do so recommended Pirate's Deli so we stopped on our way to the game. This deli is fairly good sized with a extended menu of offerings on a board around two of the walls near the ordering counter/pickup area. The staff was nice and helpful when ordering. I looked over all the great and plentiful choices, finding the NY Yankee Chicken Cutlet Sandwich (breaded chicken, bacon, melted Swiss, lettuce/tomato, with honey mustard) which looked just right for me. Orders do take a while to come up as each are made to order and there were a few people ahead of us already getting their game day selections. Our orders were out soon enough and we were off to tailgate. The sandwich was very good...just messy enough to be interesting but not chaos to eat and the components came together for a great tasting combination (see pic). I was pretty satisfied with this sandwich and would definitely get this one again. Everyone one else felt the same about their food selections as well.
