I really do love this place, but I do have a couple of gripes with it, which is why I took a star off. I'll start with the pros, though. The food and drinks here are very good. I usually get the rose iced tea or honey lavender latte. Both I highly recommend. I love their Toast With the Most. The salmon pairs great with the dill and avocado spread. The atmosphere of the place is very nice, especially if you're looking for a place to study or just to relax. They play lo-fi music to add to that relaxing vibe. They just changed their layout to their dining in area so it's much more open and doesn't feel as clustered as it once did. I definitely recommend trying their mochi donuts as well if you've never had them. They're chewy, soft, and very flavorful. I have not had a flavor that I didn't like. They're not over filling either, which is a perfect midday snack if you're looking for a little pick-me-up. Now to the cons.... My first issue is their customer service. They have some stellar workers, and then there's a couple and I'm just confused as to why they even work there. There's one girl in particular who always acts like you're being an inconvenience to her. There's definitely a chip on her shoulder for whatever reason. If you know, you know. My second is when you call in to pick up. Holy moly. What a nightmare sometimes. I like to order from them while I'm at work so I can just pick up and head back, but when they run out of certain items, they don't really tell you until you either get there when you go to pick up or when you inquire how long the food will take to make. You should probably let people know what you're out of in the beginning, or at least speak to the back and see what's there or not there. Another issue with ordering over the phone (it's small but for me it's a little annoying) is when they ask me when I'm going to pick it up. Uh.... I don't know how long the food or drink is going to take, and I have no clue how busy the place is. You should be able to give me an estimated time frame of how long it will take. 10-15 minutes, 20 minutes??? I don't know lol. I'm just picking up food. I normally like AWARE but this time, service was not great. I went in around 5:30 on 02/26 and ordered 6 large drinks. 2 iced Thai teas, winter melon milk tea, milk tea, taro slush and a hot taro drink. Now, like I said, they are normally good, but this time, when I got home, all my drinks tasted watered down and the taro just tasted like sugar. My milk tea was also a watered down jasmine milk tea, which isn't what I ordered. So I called to let them know what happened and all the guy said on the phone was that they were sorry and he'll talk to his staff. Didn't even offer to replace the order which are not cheap. This establishment is one way to say, a hidden gem. Let's start by what you see when you just come in. Right when you open the door, you can smell the espresso beans just flood your senses. This coffee shop is absolutely beautiful. It's minimalistic and a great place to study or have a meeting. It is not loud, with subtle background music. There are high chairs, tables, and a lounge area with 2 long couches. There is only one bathroom that fits both male and female. But coffee is not all what they sell.. from boba tea to smoothies, and as well as a very appetizing food selection. I love the quality of the handcrafted drinks here. They really emphasize the fact that they use high quality food and organic ingredients with house-made syrups and purees which is really nice! Today was our second visit to Aware. The space is a tad sterile, and the couches definitely do not invite one to linger, low and uncomfortable as they are (yes, I am old, thanks for asking), but the coffee is so delicious that it's hard not to forgive everything else. The ladies behind the counter were helpful and efficient, but not the warmest, or weren't until I engaged them in conversation regarding their amazing beverages, then we were instant besties. The hubs and I shared a blueberry muffin, which was ok, but tasted kinda whole wheat-ish, not my favorite. The lady next to us had some kind of avocado toast thing, which I will definitely explore in the future, as Im a big fan. A warning, one of the things I learned from my new besties was that unlike Starbucks, their large latte has three shots, not two. This would explain why the last time (caffeine snowflake that I am...) I had one I felt on the verge of a stroke for the rest of the day. This time I ordered it half caff, which she made with two shots decaf, and one regular, a perfect fit for me. Also, as delicious as their lattes are, next time I will remember to order mine extra hot as theirs are kinda more warmish than piping. This place is so much better as a coffee shop than as a boba shop. They still do sell boba so don't fret, but do try the coffee side of it! It's a bit tricky to find the place. But follow Cracked Egg and you should be able to find it along with corporate offices. Plenty of parking in the parking lot so no need to worry about that either. Anyways the place is super modern. Hipster almost vibes. You walk in and it's like bar seating as you walk in with large tables on either side (meaning you may have to share a table if you come and study). It was def pretty busy in the morning when I went. So get there early if you want a table. Coffees!! They only blend medium roast coffees, but they differ in boldness and richness. Each pretty unique in taste. But the real kick is the different types of flavors - vanilla crepe, bourbon, lavender mint. All are def on my to try list. A recommendation I have is the Vietnamese coffee. Now that's something unique. Usually most places make it super sweet, but here it was a perfect mix of coffee and sweetness. I didn't get that awful too sweet taste at the end of each sip. Win. I don't know if they bake the baked goods, but wow is it definitely delicious. It tastes home baked with chia seeds, flax seeds, whole grain goodness. Not sweet. More bland, but that's how I like baked goods. It is definitely a coffee shop to enjoy from the constant chains of Starbucks around. Love the atmosphere with its clean modern look and feel. Cute place, decent seating. We came on a weeknight for a casual business mtng. I asked for a decaf iced coffee (6pm)and I was able to drink half of it before feeling like I was flying. It had to have espresso in it. Nowhere near decaf. 1 out of 4 of us were actually able to finish our drinks due to the strength. Not sure I'd return as when I order decaf, I expect that I'm getting significantly lessened caffeine content, and I haven't had a coffee that strong in years! read more

One of the few dedicated boba shops in the Northwest part of Las Vegas, Aware is a very chill place to get your coffee and boba tea on. So chill in fact it's also a great place to study or relax while listening to lovely Lofi music and sitting on their comfortable couches. They've even got free WiFi! Though I do question the seating arrangement of the place and the interesting empty space near the counters, but that is my only note about the place itself. The drinks are sweet thus they are good, my personal favorite being a lovely iced rose tea. The milk teas also offered are good and customizable and the boba is the best you can get outside Chinatown. One gripe I have is the pricing of the drinks themselves rivaling that of Starbucks prices. Perhaps that is due to the modern coffee shop style they're going for, but having even the milk teas themselves cost more in comparison to other boba tea shops in Vegas is a bit if a let down. But I guess I just can't stop coming here because this is the best you will get without driving another 15-20 minutes to get to Spring Mountain or Rainbow. So if you'd like some boba, coffee, and a place to relax or study definitely come on by to Aware! read more

AAAHHHMMAAZZINNGGGGGGGG!! Absolutely loved this place. Casey was sooo helpful and incredibly knowledgeable of each and every creation sold in this glorious tea and coffee shop. She made me comfortable and was so delightful as she answered all my questions and made sure to tell us if our order didn't turn out as expected, they would be happy to make us something else. The space itself is nice and open, it's hipster vibe makes you feel as if you were in Oregon and yet in comparison to most places of this caliber it was extremely cost effective for such a great quality beverage. We ordered the Vietnamese cold brew, brewed for 14 hours and sweetened with condensed milk, and a taro smoothie with light boba, the taro tasted perfect (not too sweet, taro flavor completely intact) and the boba tasted fresh with just a hint of sweetness. This place is amazing! I rarely write reviews for coffee/tea lounges... but they had such a wide variety of selection. I had their Mango Green Tea and I could tell they made it with real Mango! It didn't taste artificial and wasn't overly sweet. My friend had the lavender milk tea and she finished it in minutes. Most places that make lavender anything use too much so it ends up tasting like soap. However, they balanced it just right! The place itself is spacious and modern. I'm not sure about the milk teas but the coffee here is legit. The first time I ordered their hot lavender latte, less sweet and their vietnamese cold brew. I wasn't too impressed with the vietnamese cold brew, I felt like it was on the sweeter side. The owner (I think) helped me out the first time and told me that they make their own lavender syrup. The second time I ordered the lavender latte cold, less sweet and my gf ordered the vanilla bourbon latte, iced. The coffee here is definitely STRONG. I stumbled on this coffee shop by accident once while waiting for breakfast at the restaurant next door. It's AMAZING! Such a great variety of drinks and even some delicious food and baked items.
