This place is definitely a heaven paradise if you're looking to treat yourself with a yummy, allergen-free, best ingredients treat! I'm personally lactose intolerant and allergic to gluten, and there's no bigger satisfaction for me than to find a full allergy-friendly bakery that has several different things to offer and not just only one or two desserts that fit my allergy requirements just like every other dessert place out there. Trying to have a bite to eat while having food allergies may be very stressful, lonely and frustrating due to your own health being at risk plus the limited options that are offered, especially if you're looking for dessert places, simply because places can't guaranteed it's free from cross contamination or fully allergen free, but I am so glad places like Awesome Bites exists and give us, food allergy people, a break from the regular, allergen-filled world out there. I am a person who has grown up with a pretty large sweet tooth and have eaten my fair share of BlueBell ice cream. I also thankfully have no dietary restrictions but my wife and I decided to give this place a shot. She is sensitive to gluten (although not allergic) and we both try to eat healthy and support local businesses when we can. I was honestly surprised at how much I loved this place! I had the mint chocolate chip and I genuinely preferred the taste of it over the soft, mushy, dairy-filled ice cream that you get from lots of other places. Delicious! I could not decide which (coconut based) ice cream to try, so I bought 3 pints (mango, banana, and mint chocolate chip) to take home. I recommend all of them. I was in the area and had heard about this place so I stopped by. As someone seeking out gluten free desserts I was excited to learn about their options. The staff was very friendly and let me try samples of the GF muffin flavors, brownie and blondie to help me make my selection. I chose the blondie, which satisfied my craving for sure. I definitely want to come back on one of their cupcake days. I also saw different take home items which I'll need to explore more. You don't have to be vegan to enjoy the Awesome Bites n'ice cream! It is seriously so good and creamy. I enjoyed the lavender earl gray and my kids love the chocolate and strawberry lemon (it tastes just like fresh strawberries and cream with a hint of citrus!) I always stock up on the muffins. because they're not too sweet and just the right size. My kids love the oatmeal chocolate and my favorite is the lemon blueberry. They do well in the freezer and make a great grab and go snack. I've not tried the nitro coffee but my husband did and said it was delicious. We'll be back again and again! read more

I was disappointed with this place. I went in to get allergy friendly desserts for a birthday party I was throwing for my son. We had some kiddos coming with various allergies. I had some regular cupcakes prepared for the guests but I wanted something special for the kids with allergies. This bakery had some slices of cake but no cupcakes. I settled in some muffins and a couple pieces of cake. I asked if they could just add a little dot of frosting to the muffins to make them look a little more like a cupcake - I didn't want the kids with an allergy to feel left out with a muffin instead of a cupcake. They said no. Given that this bakery seems to make it their mission to help kids feel included - I was disappointed that they couldn't add frosting. The taste is okay and they do have lots of options that are free of all allergens. But they need to improve their pricing and improve their service. read more

We ordered from this bakery online and picked them at the time mentioned. Brownie points to the team for taking COVID seriously. We ordered the donut sampler pack and loved the S'more flavored donut. However, the fruit flavored ones lacked the flavors of the fruits they should have had. The strawberry chocolate donut only had some bits of dried strawberry as garnish and a strawberry jam / preserve somewhere in the center of the donut. The banana donut was just like a sugar glazed donut. Also, the chocolate and S'more donuts were more like little cakes. We also got the chocolate muffins and they were pretty rich and small in size, more like a mini muffin compared to what you usually see in stores or traditional bakery shops. The summary of this place is that they're probably one of the best gluten free bakeries around but they're ridiculously expensive. I live in California and feel these guys are expensive. If you're trying to avoid gluten and want to have a baked treat, they're a good option in the area but I wouldn't go here regularly due to the price for the quantity you get. read more
