Just got a grilled chicken sandwich from here and I'm Not sure if it was a joke or if this place is trying to kill me but the whole sandwich was SPICY AFFF. I eat a lot of spicy food all the time but this is literally making my heart hurt right now. Tried to take all the peppers or whatever they put in there out but it didn't work. We ordered large fries and sweet potato fries. The fries were hard not crispy but just hard and crunchy. More like concrete. My brother ordered a burger and not going to lie but it was the only thing that was actually good. Everything else was just horrible. The red hot sauce and peppers on my sandwich was horrible. Fries horrible. Many other halal restaurants on Steinway. Would not recommend this one.

Been wanting to go here ever since I 1st noticed that it opened. Finally went yesterday & I was impressed! The service is good & the food is amazing! I loved everything except the loaded cheese fries (which my husband loved). The jalapeño poppers & the fried pickles Spears were amazing! Everything was perfectly seasoned & not too spicy. The wings were really good too! They were finger lickin good (KFC in the US never is). The Awesomesauce is pretty spicy so beware. The wings were very saucy so try not to be clumsy like me. The wings are kinda pricey. I do wish it was cheaper. The 6 alarm burger is amazing! It comes with lettuce, jalapeños, Poblano poppers, beef bacon, Cheddar & a sauce. I chose lemon pepper which balanced everything out perfectly. It wasn't too spicy. The loaded cheese fries are Waffle fries with cheese, beef bacon, jalapeños, Cheddar. The fries were too crispy imo.

Absolutely love this place!!! Just what Astoria needed !! Wingspot with burger and fries how can you go wrong !! Wanted in menu and deals were available right away , I happen to notice they have about 14 flavors of wings and about 6 different types of burgers . I was literally blown away and couldn't decide on which flavor to get . Ended up trying 6 different ones, and world can't express the joy I got out of it . All flavors were unique and different from each other . Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the flavors and burgers . **Delivery Review** Saturday night cravings through Uber Eats allowed me to get some food from this joint in Astoria. Basic selection of burgers, fries, wings and other typical bar food without being overly expensive. Settled on the Six Alarm Burger with bacon ($7.75) and Mac n Cheese Bites ($5) - fairly cheap, though the app adds a service+delivery fee. Food came within an hour - still hot thankfully. Burger has a juicy patty topped with jalapenos, jalapeno poppers, bacon, cheese, and a mango habanero sauce. Surprisingly east to eat as the ingredients worked well together. Bites looked lackluster but breaded well on the outside and super creamy on the inside. Needs some hot sauce to get going, but overall a good side with the burger. Definitely the kind of food you get with a few beers; definitely hitting the spot for a craving. Hopefully get to visit in person.

Wings were descent service trash . Ordered half an order of awesome sauce half chimichurri . When i got home had 10 chimichurri that were excessively oily. Called them that I was bringing it back re ordered the food . Drive back from home to have them ask me when I get there what I wanted as my new order . Just got home and the order is wronG once again . Got some spicy Thai chili instead of Korean bBq . every time have had an issue. This time I specifically called to ensure this burger was cooked well done and the sauce was on the side . I received the wrong sauce and this burger is still mooing. I Called to speak to a manager to be told they aren't there and to bring the food back to get it replaced . Who orders and pays for food to be delivered to have to drive it back to have it corrected ? Will never order again

For a quick burger & chicken wings place it's not bad. BUT, Almost everything is spicy, even stuff that you wouldn't expect like cheese fries and the Garlic Parm sauce... Also. Ordered online and and they called back to let me know one of the items wasn't available and it would be refunded. But when I picked it up they told me I needed to file a claim with the online service or get an exchange.

Royal burger was just ok (according to the hubby), but the wings were delicious, super juicy - would return for the wings! They also have a really nice selection of sauces. I got the honey bbq sauce for the wings since it was the only dairy-free sauce but I'm sure most of the sauces are good. Like Pommes Frites but more things on the menu for you to use the sauce with. ~ Was starving and wanted to pick up something quick on our way to the highway (Grand Central Parkway). Hubby was craving burgers and I just wanted food I could eat (can't do dairy at the moment). Called in an order for pickup. Got the: - Royal burger (single patty beef, lettuce, beef bacon, sunny side up egg, waffle fries, cheddar cheese; chose the recommended awesomesauce for the sauce) - Extra small order of wings w/ honey bbq sauce (5 pcs - 3 wings, 2 drums) Hubby's burger smelled really good. I love brioche buns so I was really sad I couldn't try it. The burger seemed to be cooked well-done, wasn't very juicy. Meant to ask for it to be cooked medium well but they didn't ask what temp and I forgot to specify. The yolk for on the burger was fully cooked which i don't think is supposed to be the case if it's sunny side up.. but I guess it's less messy - I gave the hubby the burger in a fork to eat while he was driving lol, but I did drown it in the awesomesauce that was given to us on the side. Hubby said the burger was ok - said there was a weird sweetness he didn't like, but wasn't sure what it was, maybe the beef bacon? Asked if the wings were cooked with butter or with any other type of dairy and was told no. Decided to just get the extra small order of wings, which had five pieces, rather than the small (10). They have a ton of sauce options (can't be called AwesomeSauce without having awesome sauce lol), but basically every sauce has butter or some kind of other dairy in it, except for their honey bbq sauce so I got that. Their honey garlic and mango habanero sauces sounded really good though. Was pleasantly surprised with the size of the wings. Was given three wings and two drums. You could tell they were freshly made. The edges were just a bit crispy. Super super juicy.. made me wish I had gotten a larger order! I wasn't thrilled that honey bbq was my only option for sauce, but it was actually pretty well balanced - a bit sweet, a bit tangy, and had a little bit of a kick, but still manageable for me. Only thing is I wish the sauce coated the wings more evenly so there were no clumps of sauce. Cute decor. They had Santa hat chair covers, little reindeer on the counter, a bulletin board where they had printed customers' social media posts of their food, and little stockings everywhere. Seems like they get lots of takeout orders - lots of Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc. signs. You can also order here on Yelp but seems like everything costs a bit more if you order online which is why I opted to call in instead. Would return for the wings and maybe give the burgers (cooked medium) another shot.

A decent place to get halal burger and wings for relatively cheap price. There are three small tables. Be aware that there are no restrooms but they'll give you wet towelettes if you want to clean your hands. Service was friendly. The have a selection of burgers and wings with different sauces. You can ask to sample the sauces before choosing. There is online ordering but it is a bit cheaper if you order in person. I had wings with thai chili as recommended by the person taking my order and the beef royal burger combo with awesome sauce. A combo is about $9-12 and comes with a burger with your choice of sauce, soda or water, and waffle or sweet potato fries. A good deal! The burgers were large and filling and the fries was a generous portion. The royal burger is topped with a fried egg, but they over cooked the yolk. It was have been better if it was a runny yolk. The waffle fries were nice and crispy and nicely salted. The sweet potato fries were a little lacking in flavor and were a bit limp. The mango habanero sauce and awesome sauce wasn't very spicy at all, that coming from a person who cannot handle spice. The wings were ok, not great. The thai chili sauce wasn't so much spicy as it was tangy. It reminds me of the duck sauce you get from Americanized Chinese food. I enjoyed my food here but wish there was a restroom.

This place has 15 unique sauces for all different taste buds to choose on your burgers and wings which keeps me coming back for more. There is also a variety of burgers and apps to chose from as well. Sauces: The awesome sauce is sweet with a spicy taste at the end which I loved. Mango habenero is a classic combination of mango and spicy. Loved their unique flavors such as garlic parm, pesto, thai chili, makhani.... which taste exactly what they are called. The korean bbq sweet n tasty. The volcano is def for all the extreme spicy lovers. Lemon pepper taste fresh n zesty. They have the following 4 version of the burger: classic, mushroom, royal (with egg & waffle fries), 6 alarm (jalepenos and jalepenos poppers). All served with beef bacon - yum! Have choice of chicken, beef, or veggy patty. Also can choose any of their 15 sauces. My favorite is the royal burger with chicken or beef. Burger is very filling and juicy. My favorite app are the loaded fries with bacon and cheese, sweet potatoes fries, and fried mac n cheese bites. All comes crispy.

I'm not sure if it's because I ordered a bit late on a Sunday evening, but JEEZ their wings suck!!! I had gotten the Thai Chili wings and they got to me cold and the wings still needed more heating time. The onions rings were decent, but honestly I have had better. I was able to eat 2 out of the five wings I got. And that's only because I was SMACKED and STARVING. Another thing is why are they called awesome sauce but don't give ranch or blue cheese for your wings...the only condiments they have is ketchup You've been warned!

Very reasonable prices, and delicious tasting food. I enjoyed the crispy chicken burger, very meaty but I'm a red meat gal so I prefer beef burgers. I had a six alarm with chicken which was crazy spicy, I can handle spice for the most part but I did have to take off a bit of the sauce, take a few sips of my ginger ale and wipe my runny nose. the waffle fries are good, it's not a big portion in the combo, but it's enough. Staff is nice, place is nice. I'd come back.

I was excited to see a new gourmet halal burger place to open after other ones closed in the areas (RIP Crave Shack.) After a long day of fasting was really looking forward to eating here as they have a Ramadan $5 special on any burger. When we got in the guy at the counter said they wouldn't take anymore orders because they ran out of buns. After checking in the back he got the okay and took our order. The place is small with only 3 tables and I got the 6 alarm burger and my wife got the Royal burger. After waiting for 30 minutes (way too long for food) we got our order and decided to take it to go cause the place had no AC. The burgers were cooked well but the buns were too small. I went there today with a friend and I must say I was really happy with the quality of the food and the portion. I had their royal burger with beef and waffle fries. They give you several sauces to accompany the fries. You get to pick the sauce for your burger , I went with the recommended sauce and was quite pleased by it. Will definitely come back and try more of their food! read more

Don't go. I don't know it has so many good reviews here. Such a disappointment. Got the 6 alarm burger, swiss burger, and loaded fries. Burgers were dry! Loaded fries were a joke. Over cooked waffle fries, cold cheese, barely any pica di gailo. Had to return them 3 times. When we asked for a refund for the fries, the guy workiNg there says Manager isn't here. We ask him to call the manager, he says he's not picking. On top of that, at 42 degrees, the restaurant was so Cold. Heating was turned on it seemed. read more

Horrible service. Wrong order delivered (under the name Astoria burger company which is their pseudonym on Seamless) it arrived cold, albeit relatively quickly. Very specific and simple instructions for chicken, they sent beef instead and were very unapologetic about it. All I wanted was the right thing sent, they refused and I had to contact Seamless for a refund. AVOID unless you don't mind eating whatever they send you. read more

This place has potential but whoever is working in the back is cutting corners and it shows in food quality. There's no way my food was made fresh. Fries soggy, burger was dry... best part, they forgot the sauce.... your name is awesome sauce!? There's too many options in Astoria to settle for mediocre food. Wouldn't recommend. read more

So I normally don't do this, but our experience was terrible. I decided to do a pickup order through Yelp, and we ordered the Hawaiian and the Bullseye burgers, along with the loaded fries. The Hawaiian burger was overly greasy, the meat was dry, the bun was soggy (a mere 10 minutes after it was "ready for pickup"), and it only had one measly little slice of pineapple, and 2 slices of jalapenos. The Bullseye was just okay, not great or bad, just average. But the quality of the food was not the greatest issue, when we got to the restaurant we saw that they offer a $5 on any burger deal on Wednesdays. When my husband inquired about this, the employee said to call Grubhub and ask them to issue a partial refund for each burger. He even told us to tell them that JR has said that it's okay to issue a refund. I call grubhub and after being on hold for 15 minutes, Grubhub states they called the restaurant to verify if what I was saying was correct, and they denied everything, and that the deal only applies if you order in store. I'm sorry, what's the difference between ordering in store and picking up? We're trying to minimize our time coming in contact with people, why would I order in store when I can order online and have it be ready for pickup? Not only this, but they instead decided to charge us MORE because we asked to substitute the type of cheese on the burger. Won't be returning again after being treated like this over some mediocre food. read more

Went to this spot today after being referred by a friend. Not gonna lie the food was delicious. I ordered the mango habanero wings and lemon pepper. My brother had the royal beef burger, he absolutely devoured it. As for my wings it was great, but I wish it would've been drenched in the sauces to give it that kick. Maybe next till I'll ask them to drench it. Anyways the food was real good and will definitely go again. read more

i really liked the wings and the first time it was a great experience but the second time i ordered double the food cause i trusted them and they left out all condiments and basically told me to stuff it when i got my wings and all stuff which was basically all dipping things like jalapeno poppers and the wings and fries double orders of both. so long story short i was so esxcit3ed and the experience totally sucked because i have zero sauces. and the way they were so so rude on the phone. screw this place. they legit don't care. funny thing is the first time I placed the order online and followed up and called and said please include sauce (blue cheese for my wings) and he was like oh yeah yeah yeah of course of course, we always put that and yada yada and very dismissive and practically hung up on me. inconsistent plebs. read more

I ordered a few weeks ago via seamless. I called ahead to ask what is their preferred delivery company and they said anything is fine. Unfortunately the burgers, wings and fries came cold. The sauce was thin and nothing was saucy enough basically. Breading was also thin and wings were not crispy. I'm super disappointed as it was costly and nothing was enjoyable. Just wanted to share this incase someone else is trying this place or if the franchise considers customer satisfaction. I get that maybe the delivery company didn't have a heat bag, so you shouldn't have given him the food. read more

Ordered burgers from Awesome sauce over Uber. They got the order completely wrong. The receipt of the order had the order clearly printed. Upon calling to let them know the order was wrong the manager asked the chef and then responded by saying the owner was not around so they could not rectify the order instead a complain should be made to Uber and I should reorder via Ubereats. If the chef made the order incorrectly why should I spend twice the amount for the same meal and timing waiting for the correct order. This is the second time I have experienced the manager using the owner not being present as an excuse to get out of dealing with a customers complaint!! The worst customer service I have dealt with in New York! read more

Save your money and don't order from this place. The burgers were bone dry and the bun was stale. My son couldn't even finish his. It was so tasteless. To be honest the only reason ordered from here because it was halal. So disappointed!!!!! read more

Well...it lives up to its name! Great spot for a quick bite, you can sit down as well, and it's super clean. They gave a large menu on the wall and they offer specials and deals as well. As for flavors, you have to try the makhni. For one, I've never heard of a wings place that offers makhni so I was hesitant to order but its a MUST. I ordered makhni and sweet Thai chili and they were both great. My boyfriend got their cheeseburger and loved it as well. A plus: the girl who works there was really kind and understanding about my various food allergies and made sure everything I ordered was safe to eat. read more

Great little burger joint. Not bad at all. Tried the Royal and the Swiss burger. Both were fantastic. And the fries it comes with were WAFFLE FRIES!!! My fave. I definitely want to come back and try other items on the menu. They have wings and loaded fries as well. Can't wait for the next time I'm in the area to come by and try everything else on the menu. Oh and when your there don't forget to try the awesome sauce!! read more

Well i love their food, but soms things are not okay. So on Wednesday i went there and after I ordered everything i gave them $100 bill but the cashier denied it!!!! he says he is not allowed to take anything more then $20 even though my order was $53 . Even though it was raining still i had to go outside and look for CHANGE!!! . One more thing i totally forgot to take my debit/credit card holder. i had only cash during that time . so my advice is don't go to this place at all. I would understand if theh had a sign hanging somewhere that we don't accept bills above twenty but they had no signs at all. read more

Also, the chicken wing is huge, for the price of $3 each. Thats why we ordered 2 chicken wing this time. But, I think it wasnt grilled as nice as my first time. Still good since it is a lot of meat for the price of $3. Lotus root is also pretty good, glazed with sugar. The worst i would say is the lamb, a bit too chewy, lack of flavor. Decided to try the place for iftar. Horrible experience. First day I order the food over the phone go in to pick it up, while there I order another item and they say 10 min so I go out for a walk. Come back and the rude lady in the front says ugh what do u want. I said I'm here to pick up my order now, she goes you took it already. I said no, she starts arguing with me and then says she gave it to someone else. And blames it on "stupid masKs" and everyone looks the same. Then I wait for my order to be remade. I go home and the 6 alarm burger has no jalapeños poppers no sauce, and has absolutely no taste had to throw it away. Next day I was sick.
