I had an oil to gas conversion done through them as well and would not hesitate to reach out to them again if I ever had to do it all over. I couldn't really negotiate the price down much but hey when it comes to a plumbing job this big the quality of the service should be the top priority, which they delivered. The 95% efficiency boiler required extra two pipes to be installed, intake and exhaust, and they ran through all the options and solutions for the piping work when they came in for the first time. And better yet, at the last minute they were able to come up with an even better solution. It was all because I had two heating units in the house. What I like about them the most is that when I ask a question, they get it right away and reply with "Yes, it can be done.". On the last day of the installation, even though it was very late and I could see them very tired, they still stayed until late at night to finish up the work and made sure we got hot water. Snobby and arrogant company. I asked about getting an oil-to-gas conversion estimate. Everything was going well with the customer agent until I gave them my address. Suddenly they told me that no one was available to come do an estimate in that area for 4 weeks. 4 weeks? All of their competitors sent a tech out within 48 hours to give us an estimate. This is a $20K job with the potential for reoccuring revenue because for any maintenance we would likely call the company that did our conversion. I sensed that based on where we lived they did not want our business. Zip code lottery? Fortunately their direct competitor gave us a fantastic quote and started the process right away. We are very happy with their work so far and will be recommending them to everyone. read more

One of our Fujitsu Halcyon units stopped working during the night (during a heat wave). Called about 6 places trying to get someone to come out (during Covid-19). AWS was able to put me on a same day waiting list. They called to let me know a tech was en route, he took off his shoes and wore a mask, and was able to diagnose the problem just by listening. He explained everything and provided a fix in less than 30 minutes. He even had a plan for next steps in case the problem (water pump and switch) burnt out. Gas Conversion Done Easy and Clean! The staff at AWS Mechanical did a great job from pricing to completion. They took care of all permits needed with town and paper work with gas provider. The hardest part for me was picking a day for them to start the job. I converted from an inground oil tank to gas. Aws took care of the inground tank and i received proper paperwork for it. Aweful; made an appt, guy said he would show up in 45 minutes but never did, spoke to a guy named 'Bob' he is worse than the first one. I called made an appt. Today and within a minute get a call from same Bob to tell me he was cancelling the apptt for no apparent reason, when I asked about another apptt. He mentioned he had no apptt. , This Bob is coward and bad for their business, if he didn't want me as customer , should have the guts to say that! Anyways, don't do any business with these people ! Solid Work. I inherited AWS for plumbing work. They aren't cheap, but the work they have done for me is thorough and has been very good. They serviced my Navien Gas Heater, and updated our instant-hot, all good work - clean and quick.
