From my initial outreach, Igor was incredibly communicative, friendly, and professional. He responded quickly and was able to schedule my installation within 48 hours, which was impressive given how difficult it can be to find reliable AC installation services in New York City. Igor installed two Midea U-shaped window AC units in my apartment and also removed and disposed of my old air conditioner. The installation was efficient, clean, and done with great attention to detail. His pricing was fair and transparent for both the installation and removal services. What really set Aircon apart was Igor's customer service and expertise. He took the time to educate me on the best practices for operating and maintaining my new window AC units, ensuring I get the best performance and efficiency from them. It's rare to find a contractor who is not only skilled but also willing to share helpful knowledge with customers. Overall, Aircon went above and beyond throughout the entire process. If you're looking for window AC installation, air conditioner replacement, or AC removal services in NYC, I highly recommend working with Igor and the Aircon team. Excellent service, reliable, fair pricing, and a truly customer-first experience.

My apartment was unbearably hot, and after contacting many websites and companies I either didn't get a response or received unrealistic prices. He was honestly the best. He was fast to respond, straightforward, reliable, and most affordable! He installed my two window AC units the same day I contacted him and was done in about half an hour. He was professional and honest throughout the entire process and I'm happy I found him since I will absolutely be needing his service again!

***HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 5+ stars***…read more My furnace stopped working yesterday, so I started making phone calls to different HVAC repair companies. After requesting quotes on Yelp, I got a slew of phone calls from different companies asking if I wanted to make an appointment for an estimate. At 8pm, Nick called and instead of pitching himself to do the repair, he gave us some suggestions as to what the problem could be and how to fix it. Following Nick's suggestion, we made a quick trip to Home Depot, bought the $40 piece, replaced the broken piece. The fix took less than ten minutes and just as Nick had said, the furnace was working again! Never, in my 29 years of home ownership, has a service person ever turned down an opportunity for a job that probably would've cost several hundred dollars (not including the initial diagnostic fee)!! Nick showed himself to be a stand-up guy who wasn't just looking to make a buck off me. And if in the future, I have any other HVAC needs, Nick will be the first person I call. I only wish I could give him more than 5 stars.

In addition to the system never functioning properly and the heat pump/heating mode remaining completely inoperable, I must emphasize that your company has not provided an invoice for the installation, despite multiple requests. This is a basic requirement for any contracted work and is necessary for my records, warranty, and any future service needs. To date, I have received no written response to my emails sent on May 26 and May 29. TCL has also been unable to proceed with troubleshooting under Ticket #US05202629347 because you have not contacted them as required. The Town of Malverne has confirmed that your HVAC permit application was not processed due to missing documentation, yet the installation was completed without an approved permit. At this point, I am requesting immediate action. Within three (3) business days, I expect a written response confirming: When you will provide the missing installation invoice; A scheduled date for TCL-directed troubleshooting at my home; or A complete repair or replacement plan to restore full system functionality. If I do not receive a response within this timeframe, I will proceed with my formal complaint to Nassau County Consumer Affairs and pursue all available remedies. I expect your prompt attention to this matter.

He quoted a price of $1700 to replace it and also suggested that I may want to replace the entire furnace instead, for $9000+. In fact, another HVAC company came and found that there was water in the inducer motor. He blew out the pipes leading to it and emptied the water out of the inducer motor. No need to replace the inducer motor and certainly no need to replace entire furnace. Tom either did not know what he was doing or was not honest about the problem. Please beware!

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!…read more I am a small business owner who works with oils and Shea Butters, so having good air conditioning to keep them from melting is super important. Last year we went by the reviews we had read, which seemed good, and hired A All to fix our commercial AC. Tyler told me that the internal blower motor had broken and it cost $1800 to fix. It was a 98-degree week so I said yes, and had it fixed. The reason I bring this up now is that I think I was ripped off last year. This is why I believe this to be true: Our AC relay was tripped because the fire marshall was here at our building, which is commercial and residential, and had to shut things off before his tests. I called A All and they said it could only be fixed manually so they came, spent 5 minutes, and charged me $398. That was 2 weeks ago. Bad enough. The next day the AC went off again, and when A All came back, they said that the relay switch was burning out, and although they bypassed it we needed a new one and they would order it. Then this past Saturday the AC would not kick on for 2 hours and we had a call in. It went back on so we cancelled the call. Then Monday AM, there was no air conditioning. I put a call in and 4 hours later no one had shown up yet. I called back and I was told that one of the vans had broken and the other guy had an emergency so the tech was going to come on Tues morning. Seriously, we felt like we were shoved to the side. Robert shows up on Tues. morning and tells us that the AC compressor is shot and we need a new one. We didn't even ask if we still needed a new switch. We told them to get us an estimate. We had not heard a word by Wednesday afternoon which I found strange. We had not heard a word by Wednesday afternoon which I found strange. Meanwhile, we called 2 other HVAC companies to come give estimates for a new compressor. I figured it would be thousands so I had to get more than one. When the first company told me that I did not need a new compressor, I was shocked and thought that maybe he didn't catch the problem. So I let the other company show up as well. He confirmed what the other guy said, but went further to tell us that the unit looked sabotaged. That was his word, not ours. The air filters had been removed and the strapping on the installation had been removed so that the piece would be sucked up against the unit and most likely burn the entire thing out. We were livid needless to say. He then told us that it is unfortunately a common thing, especially when it involves a commercial unit where the tenant (me) most likely is not going up on the roof to inspect. He fixed what had been broken and charged me $369.33! Before I let A All know what I had been told, let alone that it had been fixed, I called to get the estimated price for the new unit. I had to wait an hour and that I would get a callback with the price. No call. So I called back and waited to speak with Tyler. Neither he nor Robert would get on the phone after the assistant told me the price. She said it was going to be $4800 for a new compressor, labor, and installation. So knowing that the compressor is perfectly fine as per 2 other HVAC companies, I now believe they were going to take my money and not even replace the "broken" one. They would have just restrapped, refiltered, and rewired like the other guy and pretended they did a whole new one. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIPOFF!!
