However, I contacted 1-818-307-6868 / moble PC medics and they told me they could do it for a lot less. They were very reliable and very honest and detailed. I didn't feel like I was going to get ripped off like I did with the other company Mitec. Thank you so soooo much mobile PC medics!!!! The Laptop Guy impressed the heck out of me! I called, on a Sunday, because the "w" key on my…read morelaptop keyboard stopped working suddenly. My laptop is my livelihood, so getting it fixed was imperative. When I called, the first thing he did was tell me how to try to get it working by myself. In the meantime, he would look up the price for a replacement keyboard. My first attempt didn't work, but in a second call, he helped me through the difficulty, and then it worked! Even if it hadn't, he told me it wouldn't cost more than $50 in labor to switch out the board. He was nice and generously gave his time to help me through this without any profit. It's possible that this fix won't last, so he sent me a link to a reputable dealer where I can get a new keyboard to have handy.
