I have dined in and gotten take out. The shrimp fresh rolls are so good. Thin rice noodles, lettuce, carrot basil and shrimp with a sweet chili sauce. My go to dish is Ginger Garden with beef and shrimp. They do let you sub out vegetables you don't like. I sub the carrots and bell peppers for baby corn and broccoli. They have slivers of ginger in the dish that makes it so delicious if you're a fan of ginger. Garlic delight is another good dish. Staff is always friendly and helpful and amazing. Stopped here for lunch after leaving work with my hubby. He enjoys the fried rice. I'm not a huge fan of Thai food, so i ordered the San Mee, which has the smaller rice noodles with cabbage, mushrooms, carrots, its suppose to have a yellow curry but if i did, I think it missed my plate. But chicken wings were decent. We prefer food here, got home, and when we opened our boxes, they were half empty. So at a time wen everyone is struggling to get through a tough situation, it appears this establishment is attempting to recoup losses by shorting the customer. Best Thai food in the entire area. My favorite dish is the chicken Phad kee mao. Seriously step away from your normal pad Thai and order the Phad kee mao. Too lazy to cook dinner but we also didn't want to drive too far. Saw this place on yelp so off we go. It's on the same area as Safeway but it's on the Canyon side- Small, unassuming, cute decor. The servers were very welcoming. Got seated right away and drinks were served fast. Yelpers said the crab delight were amazing so started with those as well as the chicken satay. After a couple of minutes we ordered the pineapple fried rice with chicken, lemon grass chicken and pad Thai with shrimp and chicken. Let's start with the crab delight. Ok, it was called crab delight but I can't taste any crab. I can taste all the cream cheese though! Don't get me wrong, they were cooked perfectly and the plum sauce matched perfectly with the tanginess and creaminess of the cream cheese but I taste no crab. They should have been called cream cheese delight because that's all I tasted. A glob of cream cheese stuffed on a wanton paper and deep fried. Chicken satay were okay and definitely big portions. The chicken was a little dry, lacked some seasoning and the sauce was a bit one sided flavor wise. It's like dipping your chicken tender in a diluted peanut butter. The padthai was so sweet it almost gave me a tooth ache! Too bad bec the noodles were cook perfectly and the shrimps were massive but I couldn't taste anything else except the sweetness. I even asked for coupe of limes so I could make the sauce a little palatable but to no avail. Needless to say, we barely touched it. It would have been nice to have added something fresh and sour. The lemon chicken was the best dish out of everything we ordered. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the veggies were fresh and flavorful. I could taste the lemon grass and it had just the perfect amount of salt. The pineapple fried rice was good but I've had better. The pineapple didn't taste fresh. Probably came from a can and there's nothing mind blowing about it. Came out paying almost $70 with tip. To be honest, it's great there's a local Thai place for when you want one but I'm not sure if we will be back. It's was okay food and definitely pricey. The online ordering process was easy and the interior looked nice, but that is all that was good. We were told our oder would be ready in 30 minutes. We areived after 40 minutes of placing the oder and ended up waoting another 30 minutes. My Thai mother in law would be ashamed of this places. The food was so Americanized, not authentic Thai food. I ordered a level 4 spicy on everything and what I got tasted like there was no spice at all. The pad Thai noodles were stuck together. The beef salad is not like any Thai beef salad I've ever had in Thailand or the states; it was gross. The Khao' Niaw (sticky rice) was over cooked and mushy. I ordered the fried duck, which the menu says is a half duck, but what I got was 5 small pieces. Way over priced! My family was really looking forward to this place being good but we were very disappointed and will never eat there again. read more

Both the owners and their families are hands on in this restaurant. You will feel like you are eating at your kitchen or home. Clean and lots of table. Bathroom is good. Price is reasonable, and the food! You will fall inlove with how they taste! Everything is good! And authentic. When I spoke to the owner, he shared they own many branches.... and I made a generally conclusion why they are successful all these years and expanding...It is simply because - they are kind and good to people. They make real and high Quality authentic good Thai food and more, they are honest to customers and people, ingredients are fresh and you will never feel like you are cheated with the amount of what you've paid and most importantly, they deliver almost always an authentic, happy and wonderful dining experience. Honestly, we go here so much and not a single item in the menu we didn't like. They are all sooo good! We've been going to this place for almost a year now, we are regulars and everytime the staff or restaurant folks see us, the amount of wonderful smiles and welcoming spirit is always anew. I love this place! Fresh is the word I would use to describe this place - fresh ingredients, fresh food, fresh taste. I like the variety they offer and how consistent they are with each order. I absolutely love their 3 flavor shrimp and honestly can't have it quite often if I could! Haha! It's great with brown or white rice and fills your tummy without making you feel bloated. I also like their pad see ew with a little bit of fish sauce on top - it's a game changer, if you ask me! I also like their food is not as sweet as most Thai restaurants are so it the flavors are well developed. The service is a bit lackluster but I have only done takeout during Covid, therefore that's what I have experienced, I don't know how the service would be to when I actually dine in. I had to wait for a good 5-7 mins before they acknowledged my presence even though they were across the counter from me. That was the only bleep I have yet experienced. Also, there is a Puyallup location but I actually prefer this Fredrikson location since the food seems a bit more fresh to me. Otherwise, can't go wrong with any of their menu options! Dropping stars because I feel the quality has gone down. My husband and I decided on Thai food and Ayothaya has been one of our "go tos" since we don't live too far. We ordered the panang curry with chicken, pad Thai with beef, and coconut prawns. For the two entrees, we asked for them to make it as spicy as they can make it in which the lady on the phone said "10 stars". We said yes that sounds good to us. Husband goes and picks up and we're having dinner now. Coconut prawns are decent I feel they were left in the fryer a couple seconds longer than needed but not bad. My husband and I dig into his curry and it's good, it's what we expect from Ayothaya and even has a decent kick to it. The pad Thai, however, is extremely disappointing. It has no spice to it. None. Also, it was extremely dry. The noodles were hard to swallow and the egg in it was burnt. The beef was ok but I got some chewy parts. This is not the quality I remember. I have to constantly sip water between bites just to swallow. We aren't going to finish it and feel like it's a waste of money. Disappointed at the fact that Ayothaya knowingly served it burnt and dry. We will spend the extra time to go to other Thai joints we know and love. We won't be back or be recommending. read more

The pad see ew had tons of chicken (nice surprise), the noodles were cooked perfectly but it somehow tasted different than other pad see ew's I've tried at other restaurants. Not bad, but not my favorite for some reason. Maybe it was sweeter than usual? I still ate most of it :) The crab delights should be renamed cream cheese delight because I did not taste crab lol. Don't get me wrong, they were still VERY delicious and I would highly recommend ordering them; just don't expect them to taste like crab. Tried to use a gift card that was purchased for this restaurant (there is also another location that can also accept the gift card) and they refused to take it. They tried to use the gift card and said it could not be processed without the receipt.... they called the other location for us to see if the gift card was on file there and it also was not on file. The gift card was, just that, a gift. We did not have a receipt what we should not have to have a receipt in order to spend gift card money. They were not willing to use the card or do any kind of discount at all. Would not recommend buying a gift card at any Ayothaya location.
