TDLR: They forgot to stir fry every items I ordered. I ordered to-go for my 7/28 Friday lunch. Pick up was easy and swift since the restaurant was literally empty at 12:30PM with only one table of two customers. Though, the restaurant looks clean and doesn't have the funky smell you get from usual asian restaurants. Got home and opened up my food, man, disappointed to say the least. Both my dishes are not only colorless, but also flavorless. You can see clumps of white noodle and white rice together. I mean I am not expecting a Michelin plating, but what is this? Did the chef forget to stir fry it or what? No colors and no flavors to both dishes. Don't even mention the complexity of flavors you would expect from thai dishes and the "wok-hei" from stir frying the rice or noodles. Paid $30 for this, probably wouldn't pay $10 for them to be honest. Very disappointed, absolutely will not give it a chance anymore. read more

Tried the restaurant 4 times because it was close and convenient, but tonight it was awful. 6 dishes all unbelievably bland, like they held the flavor. I wanted to bring them back but what's the point. Now I know why it was a ghost town when I picked up my order. 2 salads, 2 noodle dishes, 1 curry and one fried rice. Don't waste your time. My mom is Thai and this is her go-to for Thai. That should say a lot!! ;) The dishes here are authentic and the owner is very nice and hard-working. It's always clean inside and the interior is nicely decorated. The food is always spot-on and I love that you can place your order AND pay & tip on Yelp. Yay Yelp!! They have a small selection of beer (Chang and Singha!) and some nice affordable wines (Woodbridge, Chateau St Michelle). LOVE their coconut sticky rice and mango. I am so happy to have our local back in business! We ordered on-line. So quick and easy. Really great descriptions for my Mom, who doesn't know Thai food. Everything is ready in record time, and packaged to get home w/o slopping. We have always loved their fresh creations! I've been sick and jonesing for Tom Kha. Just the right amount of coconut, broth, green onion, bok choy, heat, cilantro. I am healed! My husband appreciates the jasmine rice in his Thai fried rice. Idk if there are new owners or chefs or what, but the quality of the food has gone downhill over the last year or so. Its still good, just not as good as it was before. For instance the pad Thai is pretty bland and the veggies in some dishes are way under done. Its still the best in Tacoma imo and its close to home so I will still be coming here often. read more

Had my food ordered via Uber eats! It was prepared and delivered quick but the food all together was great 1. Appetizers was cream cheese crab Rangoon - these were crispy and cooked perfect, the sauce that came With them was a bit spicy not too hot but had a zip to it! Totally delightful 2. My son has Rice noodle soup - was delivered hot and the broth was good and really that's the only thing my 5 Year old likes from the soup he ate most of it! 3. Tofu pad Thai - ok this was so good and I love a ton of peanuts on it which was so good but I wish the tofu was cut up a bit smaller but besides that the taste was so good it wasn't chewy or over cooked at all! 4. BEST BEST BEST mango sticky rice I've had in along time! The mango was soft but not mooshy and the sticky rice was flavored perfect not sloppy or too wet at all! Currently my favorite spot for Thai food, as it seems very difficult to find one close to being decent. I always order the Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai with a spice level of 2. I have also had the Crab Rangoon and Thai Basil Fried Rice. Every dish delivered has always been consistent in flavor and spice, which to me is important--I like to know that what I'm ordering doesn't change for every time I order it there after!! The portions served are gracious both for dine-in and take-out. Also, you really can't beat their prices, for most dishes are under $10. Delicious food, unbeatable prices and excellent service. Only been here once but it was good enough that I feel like I should write a review now. I'll update should anything change as I will definitely come to this restaurant again. To be honest my review will likely mirror what everyone else has said. The place is extremely clean, the service is great- friendly and attentive. The food has good pricing with large portions. More importantly they don't skimp on the tofu (or I'm guessing chicken, etc) on the dishes as some other places tend to. But the real reason I have to write is the crab rangoon. It is obviously homemade which isn't the case at many places. It was delicious, perfectly fried so it wasn't greasy at all. The peanut sauce was also really good. Also not greasy as can be typical at many places. That they have my favorite peanut sauce dish (noodles) makes it all the better. If I could I would give this review "0" stars. I ordered food from this restaurant for over 7 years. On April 1, 2021 I order take out food from this restaurant and I found two types of hair strains was in my food. The next day I brought the two strains of hair and the food back to the restaurant. The male owner who was in the kitchen cooking was rude and told me not to worry about coming back to his restaurant. One of the strains of hair appeared to be his as no one in the kitchen wore hair nets. I previously had a problem with my food orders leaking as they lined food boxes with aluminum foil to save on the cost of take out packing. After giving this restaurant another try I found the strains of hair in my food and instead of apologizing the owner made it look like I was at fought for bring an error his business made to his attention. What a lousy way to run a business. With customer service like this, this business will not do well in the future. My friends and I will never eat at this restaurant again! read more

Gave the place another try since it was close to home and didn't want to drive too far in the horrible weather, and we were glad we did. Food was better than how we all had remembered it. Three of us ordered fried rice and my brother ordered Ginger Broccoli. We all ordered our food 10 stars, and it actually tasted like 10 stars! We were loving it! We like our food very spicy, and barely any restaurant makes it spicy enough. But here, they made it extra spicy for us; we were still talking about it the next day. I'm a fan! Have been here twice now, and tried an array of menu items: chicken larb salad (omg, my new favorite), pad Thai (DUH), Tom Kha soup, and fresh rolls... All of these items were delicious. My only complaint might seem ridiculous, but the fresh roll wasn't "rolled" very tight. It fell apart as I ate it, which was messy. But, it was still delicious and it certainly won't stop me from coming back again. My only complaint is location, BUT I don't want that to cause them to relocate... This is right by my church and I would love to have this dependable and delicious Thai spot there for a long, long time. I'm just complaining because parking and traffic is a beast and that is always an annoyance when I'm going to Starbucks or, now, picking up some larb! (EXTRA SPICY!) read more

I ordered 2 stars out of 3 and it tasted like 0 stars (guess I'd rather have less spicy than so spicy I can't eat. Also got a Thai iced Tea - tasted just like it should. This is a solid 4 star restaurant, I knocked off 1 star purely because I ordered on uber eats and it took us an hour and a half to get our food and my uber driver said they made her wait 20 mins for our food as well. In terms of food we got gyoza, drunken noodles and pad see ew. The gyoza was amazing! Probably one of the best my fiancé and I have had in a while. It comes with a nice dipping sauce. If I ever choose to go here again, I will definitely order this! The drunken noodles I got with tofu. It was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The vegetables in it were still crunchy and cooked through, there was lots of tofu. The only comment I have is that it was much spicier than expected for a level 2 spiciness. The pad see ew was also good, not as flavorful as the drunken noodles but had the same issue with spice. My fiancé and I can tolerate spice, it was just more than we were expecting. Overall this place was good but the hour and a half wait was not worth it. If we choose to order here again we probably won't order any spice level to our meals! read more

The BEST Thai food place I have ever had! Every single time it doesn't disappoint love the pineapple fried rice, cashew chicken, all of their curries, orange chicken, and pad tai.
