My wife and I met Kenny through our realtor when we bought a house in May of '24. We found out that we'd have to replace the flooring downstairs/upstairs due to pet urine. Long story short we had to rip out the sub plate/sand down some sub flooring and seal the concrete slab to attack the urine. We had two companies come in and quote us 5200 and 6900 for the cutting/treatment and replacement of what they had to remove. Kenny told us that he can do everything at a fraction of the cost and start ASAP. We trusted him and he knocked it out of the park. He was able to get rid of 98.8% of the smell. They removed/replaced the baseboards, removed old carpeting and disposed of it along with the old laminating as well. We have had Azevedo Flooring install hardwood in two entire homes for us. These were large jobs that each had challenges. We have very high standards and focus on the finish work and Azevedo does really beautiful work. Kenny has very talented installers on his team and in both homes thay did an awesome job. In one home we used 2 inch oak and in the second home we used 4 and 5 inch cherry and both turned out perfect. Kenny is always on time and they do very clean work. Kenny Azevedo and his team just installed a red oak floor in our open plan entry/hallway/living room/kitchen replacing laminate and it looks great! Kenny worked with us from the beginning. We thought we had selected a wood we liked based on a sample from a local flooring store. Kenny suggested we get a full box and check it before buying and we found the store sample was vastly different from the wood in the box, which looked like mismatched leftover odd lots. Kenny helped us find quality wood at a similar price instead. His team was meticulous in removing and replacing all the baseboards, pulling appliances and reinstalling, doing a flawless and even install, selecting attractive thresholds, and even cleaning up after themselves daily. We had Azevedo Flooring company install cork tile floors in 4 rooms at our house. We could not be more pleased with the value and quality we received from Kenny and his crew. We got bids from several other local flooring outfits, but we're glad we chose Azevedo. Kenny is great to work with from the initial quotes to the way he manages the job. The work was finished on schedule and the floor looks great. Kenny and his crew removed and replaced the existing baseboard moulding with surgical precision. They installed matching transitions between the cork floors and the existing tile flooring with very intricate cuts. They took great care to clean up the job site each day before the left.
