I worked with Healdsburg Floor Coverings to replace all the wood flooring in my house and also to install a runner on the stairs. I did not use them for the install of the wood floors, though I suspect that they would have been cheaper than my contractor. I worked with Travis at Healdsburg Floor Coverings who was great -- really responsive, helpful, friendly. I am so happy with the quality of the products I received. Not a criticism of Healdsburg Floor Coverings, but more a learning from this experience. I would highly recommend purchasing an in stock item. At first, I purchased an item that had a delivery date of about a month out. This initially worked based on the progress of my house renovation. However, it kept on getting delayed week by week until it was at least a month delayed. I then switched to a nearly identical offering from the same distributor at the same price and received the flooring within days. I wish I had done this earlier instead of waiting! read more

The salesman's are very nice. It's the people that install the flooring are very sloppy. He cracked the panel underneath the cabinets in his own hands I put glue on it to try to make it stick, but I will have it repaired because it continually sticks out from under the cabinets. read more

Tread lightly while working with this shoddy company. Their materials are fine...its their policies and service that are terrible! Moaning and complaining to CUSTOMERS is their standard op. You cant return anything, they will charge or refuse...just go to Home Depot, you can order the same things and the Depot lets you return anything all the time. We wanted to give a local business a try, but lesson learned again...stay with places that make it easy!! read more

Highly recommended by a first-time customer. I wanted to replace the carpets in my home with engineered hardwood flooring, so I searched the Internet until I found exactly what I was looking for. The manufacturer listed four or five dealers in the area. I got on each of their web sites and chose Healdsburg Floor Coverings based on the statement of co-owner George Diebold. I had to drive twenty miles to the showroom, and was glad I did. The showroom is well-designed and stocked with samples from the major brands. George was friendly, asked questions to be sure I was choosing the right product, and showed me the one I was interested in as well as others. He quoted me a very competitive price. It would be a major purchase, so I wanted time to think about it, though as soon as I got out the door I knew I would be back. It was not only the right product but the right owner whose flooring expertise inspired confidence. A few days later I returned to get a small sample. Their samples are huge and can be borrowed so that at home you can get a pretty good idea of what the complete floor will look like. Mine was a perfect color and finish. When I returned the sample, I made the purchase. As George had promised, he called as soon as the flooring arrived at his store. My installer and I picked it up. Two weeks later I called him to order two reducers for room transitions, and once again the order arrived in a timely manner as promised.
