What a lovely restaurant. We were kind of early for dinner, but seated immediately and treated very well. Inside and outside the restaurant id decorated with beautiful hand-painted tiles from Portugal. My friend enjoyed roast scrod with "punche" potatoes. I had the equivalent of a seafood paella. All very delicious. A great experience overall.

My first time trying Azorean food and it won't be my last. We made a reservation and our table was ready when arrived. Our server was very friendly and gave some great suggestions since it was our first time trying out Azorean food. We started out with calamari for appetizers and they were tender. They were under seasoned but a little salt and pepper fixed it. Sauce was sprinkled on one side only so we asked for extra sauce to dip our calamari in. They might consider providing the extra sauce on the side when serving. My partner had the Azorean grilled trio. He found the octopus to be perfectly cooked with a perfect balance of tender octopus and the right amount of char. Our server recommended the fish cataplana made with rice. I found it absolutely delicious with a good amount of fish. They had parking on site and there's also street parking available. Atmosphere was very welcoming with many Portuguese decorations. I heard that they serve great pizza but our menu didn't mention them. Our server told us that you have to request the bar menu if you want to order pizza. He also mentioned that you can reserve a table and order off the bar menu.

The bride and groom chose to gather the night before the wedding with family and guests at their favorite pizza place: The Azorean. What a treat for this out-of-towner guest! 16 pizzas ordered! All pizzas were good, but I especially loved the spicy Portuguese sausage. The crust was crispy yet soft, the sauce savory, and the cheese gooey & stretchy! Tony, our waiter, was fantastic! Catering to a large group isn't easy, yet he made sure all was perfect. He was solicitous and everywhere all at once, but never intrusive, as everyone connected over their drinks and pizza. Overall, a terrific spot for a large group.

Delicious food. Good service . Great experience. Our family enjoyed it immensely! We ordered bread and oil, soup, shrimp and calamari appetizer, shrimp Mozambique and other dishes. Don't have pics of all. The calamari and shrimp were some of the best I have eaten. Lovely meal!

Loved my dish. It's not fancy but the food is delicious and the price is excellent. We went with 3 others and sat in the bar area. I had the traditional fish soup with a white wine/garlic/saffron broth. So flavorful and delicious. I almost finished it which is amazing because it was huge. You can get it with potatoes or rice and I got potatoes which are supposed to be a little more traditional. Two other people in our group got Cataplans - big platter dishes and loved them. The other half had a grilled seafood plate that was huge and fully enjoyed. On top of this we had a nice Albariño for only $18! Worth it!

Tasty food and very reasonable! Only downside was that there was an extra charge for bread and oil ($3.50) which was disappointing.

We always sit out on the patio with the most perfect view of the sea, which makes the whole experience feel even more magical...especially in the warmer months. We always order the hummus, mocktails, and the TRUFFLED WILD MUSHROOM & SPINACH CAVATELLI ....which honestly deserves its own fan club. It's rich, comforting, earthy, and absolutely unforgettable every single time. We also tried the fish and chips recently and they were SO good. The fries were perfectly crisp on the outside while still soft in the middle...exactly how they should be. We had the chance to meet Carlo, the owner, and he was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience feel even more personal and special. Everything at Yella feels thoughtful and beautifully made. It's one of those places that turns a simple lunch or dinner into a memory.

It was raining when we stopped by for lunch, so we couldn't enjoy the gorgeous outdoor seating that looks out onto Western Harbor, but the restaurant's interior is charming, too - bright, casual, comfortable - with windows looking out onto the Harbor. My mom, who is vegan, enjoyed their Moroccan Shakshouka (roasted vegetables, quinoa, chickpea, jalapeno, tomato sauce, cilantro, and grilled bread - she just removed the egg and feta). I loved their Bouillabaisse (seafood broth, shrimp, mussels, fresh fish, coconut milk, and rice) and my glass of white wine. The service was great, and we just really enjoyed our lunch at Yella!

Steak Kabob Wrap: I ordered the medium well, and it was noticeably overcooked. My colleague who ordered the medium also well agreed But regardless, the freshly grilled steak was still quite aromatic. The ingredients were all fresh; the rich and creamy hummus, the sweet and sour tomatoes, and the crisp and refreshing cucumber were all wrapped in the markouk. Markouk flatbreads are grilled daily, thin, smooth, and chewy, much better than pita or lavash in my first impression. Chicken Kabob Wrap: Their signature dish. The chicken breast was still juicy. The owner is very familiar with the whale watching boat schedule and will tell you if you have time to eat before boarding. It has a 4.9 rating on Google Maps, but the food isn't nearly as good as it seems; after all, it's just a wrap, and it probably benefits from the whale watching reputation.

This was our first visit on a Saturday evening and we were glad we made reservations as it was packed yet still maintained a great atmosphere. Chicken and Beef Kabobs as our entrees. Their signature cocktail Istanbul Peach Martini and a glass of Autorotas Sauvignon Blanc. As always the Lavash was amazing as was the Kabobs. I had the mixed app platter with lavash bread, cheese rolls and a cocktail (the name escapes me). The gigantic lavash and spreads were definitely the star of the show here! The bread is a perfect blend of soft and chewy with perfectly toasted bits, and the spreads were mouth watering. The haydari was our favorite, but they were all very good. We really enjoyed sitting on the outdoor patio- the cool artifacts from the old train station are a great touch. The waitress was easy to chat with and knowledgeable... I'm not certain if this is a family-run business but that was the general vibe- warm and friendly with an obvious desire to share good eats. We don't have many Mediterranean places in the area, and Anatolia really fills that void nicely. I immediately came back the next day to buy a gift card for my dad for Father's Day. I think he will really enjoy it here too!
